We were all waiting anxiously for Taeyong to come out.

All of us wanted to hurry up and meet our favorite Food Souls. We heard that all of our favorites were gonna be there~.

Mark's favorite is B-52. My favorite is Bamboo Rice. Jeno's favorite is Escargot. Donghyuck's favorite is Hamburger. Jaemin's favorite is Miso Soup. Chenle's favorite is Double Scoop. Jisung's favorite is Sanma Shioyaki. Taeyong's favorite is Raindrop Cake. Lucas' favorite is Huangshan Maofeng. Jungwoo's favorite is Peking Duck. And Suko's favorite is Tom Yum.

I think it'd be fair for me to explain the background of these foods while we wait for Taeyong.

First off, there's Tom Yum.

Tom Yum is a refreshing hot and sour Thailand soup from the 18th century. He's a hot-blooded young man who is passionate about everything. Due to his strong sense of justice, he sees it as his mission to protect the weak. He also has very good luck, and will often turn misfortunes into blessings.

Next, there's Peking Duck.

Peking Duck is a roast duck recipe that was perfected in 19th century Beijing, wrapping crispy duck skin and juicy duck meat in a thin roll to experience a pallet sensation~. Peking Duck is a very gentle young man. He is always smiling and is never without his pipe. He also loves spending his time with his ducks, and treats everyone with equality and respect. However, he can be rather strange at times.

Now onto Huangshan Maofeng.

The white body of the plant is covered with buds, and the buds are sharp. It is where the origin name of the 9th century Huangshan Maofeng comes from. After more than a thousand years of circulation, its reputation has also been heard throughout the country, ranking among the top ten famous teas. Though he may seem to be a temperamental, steady, and a reliable priest, in reality, he only looks upright, appearance-wise, and is quite the troublemaker. He only becomes reliable when it comes to down to serious business. He's the type of guy who people tend to have a love-hate relationship with.

Next is Raindrop Cake.

Raindrop Cake is a Japanese cake different from other cakes. It is transparent and filled with beautiful decor. Not only is it beautiful, but it is also sweet and refreshing. He's very talented, but also very weak. He doesn't say much and doesn't like to interact with others. And it seems as if he's troubled by his past.

Then there's Sanma Shioyaki.

Sanma Shioyaki is a type of Japanese grilled fish that is not only loved by humans, but also by cats! Don't leave it out for too long though, or a cat just might take it away~. He's a very silent young man. He takes in and raises many homeless cats, and prefers them over humans.

Now for the precious babies that are Double Scoop~.

Double Scoop is probably the simplest one of the food souls to explain.

Double Scoop is an ice cream dessert from 20th Century England, composed of the two flavors Strawberry and Vanilla. Double Scoop are one of the few Food Souls who combine in such a way. Vanilla takes the role of the elder brother, taking care of his younger brother Strawberry. However, it seems like it's Strawberry who ends up dealing with the aftermath of any kind of trouble. It would seem that Strawberry should just avoid being around his brother, but he never leaves Vanilla's side.

Now for the monk Miso Soup.

Miso is a simple paste that creates one of the most common recipes from the 12th-14th century of Japan. Miso soup is a great way to begin a meal and warm the stomach. Miso thinks of himself as a monk, but in reality, he's just an ordinary man who likes to be around women. He doesn't care much for anything that doesn't concern him. The only way to motivate him, is to surround him with beautiful women.

Now for Hamburger.

Hamburgers are a fast food from the 20th century United States, and is very popular around the world. They come in all types and shapes, and pack a lot of calories. Hamburger is candid and carefree, with a passion for skateboarding. He likes to show off on the street and enjoys being admired. However, if you pay him a compliment, then he'll be rather modest about it. He's confident when competing with other men, but when it comes to girls, he seems to be completely lost.

Now for the sleepy Escargot.

Escargots are a delicacy in France. Who would have thought baking cheese with snails would be so delicious right? Escargot is a drowsy-eyed young man who's constantly sleeping. He always carries a pillow with him no matter where he is. The only party he likes is a sleepover party...

I wonder why...

Now for Bamboo Rice.

What happens when you cook rice in bamboo over a pit of fire? You create a rice dish that is filled with aroma and the taste of nature~. It's both a delicious and healthy staple food from China. Bamboo Rice is a young man who lives alone in the jungle with animals for company. He enjoys hunting, and is good at raising and training wild beasts. He's straightforward, simple, and pure. And he gets excited when he runs into strangers.

And last, but not least, there's B-52.

B-52 is a common cocktail from present day United States, but don't let the colors of a B-52 fool you. They might look harmless and pretty, but drinking too much just might blow you up! B-52 doesn't really care about anything going on around him, as he thinks it's rather troublesome. However, sometimes he will be drawn into battles, based on objective reasoning of course. Some people think of him as a fighting machine, but all he wants is to be seen as a normal person.

Donghyuck questioned with annoyance.

"Here I am! Sorry I took so long. I had to make something real quick"

He apologized, holding a container in his hands.

"Is that a crab salad for Raindrop Cake?"

I asked.

"Yeah! How'd you know?!"

"That's his favorite food"

"You really did your research huh?"

"Yup~"

"Hmmmm. What's Vodka's favorite food?"

Donghyuck asked.

"Takoyaki"

"Who's Pizza linkable with?"

Jeno questioned.

"Cassata"

"What's the origin of Caviar, place and time"

Jisung inquired.

"France, 4th century BC"

"Nerd"

Mark teased.

"Nah. I'm just determined to know everything about every food soul"

"Ha. Cute nerd~"

Suko also teased, making me sigh in defeat.

After Taeyong made sure to put his crab salad somewhere that it wouldn't fall, we all got in the jet and finally made our way to the Food Fantasy Fair~.
