"IS THE FAIR ALL THE WAY UP THERE?!"

We all asked, in awe of the beautiful scenery before us.

"No. The fair is in that little town below the Crystal Haven. The after party however, is within the Crystal Haven, but that's not until later~"

Taeyong informed.

"What time is the after party?"

I inquired.

"Well, the food souls are gonna be at a plaza in the town for 3-4 hours for a meet and greet. Then, everyone will move up to the Crystal Haven for the after party in the Crystal Cave~"

"Does everything around here start with Crystal..."

Donghyuck sighed.

"It's called the Crystal Oasis for a reason Hyuck. But enough talk! We're here~"

"It looks like there's gonna be an overcast soon. They might have to move the meet and greet inside"

Taeyong predicted.

"Taeyong-hyung is our living weather app~"

"Yukhei..."

Jungwoo sighed at Lucas' comparison.

"So, I say the easiest way we can meet the food souls is by the order we run into them"

I concluded.

"Sounds good to me little Moomin~"

Taeyong cheered.

He suddenly ran off looking very excited. We looked ahead of him, and he was running to Raindrop Cake.

He must've ascended because he wasn't in his wheelchair.

They started talking while we were trying to catch up, and Raindrop was actually smiling!

"By the way, I made this for you!"

Taeyong cheered, handing him the crab salad.

"Really? You didn't have to. It's not like I deserve it or anything"

"Aish, don't say things like that. You always do your best, and I'm proud of you~"

"Thank you, Master Attendant"

He smiled and bowed.

"MASTER ATTENDANT?!"

We all shrieked looking to Taeyong.

"Oh yeah! I forgot to mention. I'm Raindrop's summoner~"

"But why doesn't he live with us?"

I asked.

"He doesn't trust people a lot, but he comes around sometimes in spots where not even Yukhei or Jungwoo can hear or see him"

"My deepest apologies"

Raindrop apologized and bowed to us.

"Master, I don't want to get caught in the rain. I'm going to go inside"

"Ok, I'll meet you up there soon~"

Taeyong waved as Raindrop left.

"How many kids do you have hyung..."

Mark asked.

Taeyong just giggled and walked off.

He's still so mysterious...

So far, this event has been really fun~.

We made it to the Crystal Cave for the after party a few minutes ago. Soon enough, everyone went their separate ways with their new food soul friends.

Tom Yum and Suko were eating Roast Beef together.

Jungwoo and Peking Duck were playing with the ducks.

Lucas and Maofeng were drinking tea.

Taeyong and Raindrop were happily catching up with each other.

Jisung and Sanma were playing with the cats.

Chenle and Double Scoop were drinking Mango Smoothies.

Jaemin and Miso were admiring the lovely ladies walking by.

Donghyuck was skateboarding with Hamburger.

Jeno was letting Escargot take a nap on his lap.

Mark and B-52 became friends by talking about deep thoughts.

And Bamboo Rice and I were talking about our many adventures.

"So you technically just got your powers, and you've already done that much for your team?!"

"Yeah! I still can't believe it either"

I shyly chuckled.

"That's so cool! You should come to my jungle sometime~"

"Sounds good to me~. I see you're good with nature too, since you're able to raise and train wild animals"

"You could say that. But I think it's just because they like me a lot, so they trust me to take care of them. I'd say it's the same for you too"

"I'm really glad we met. Finally I can have someone to relate to~"

"I'm glad too~"

Abruptly, there was a loud crash, and shattered pieces from the crystals above us started to fall.

Bamboo Rice deflected the shards coming our way, and the other food souls protected everyone else.

"What the hell was that!"

Donghyuck yelled, enraged from his skateboarding disturbance.

I looked around until I saw purple lightning bolts and sparks coming from the plumes of dust in front of us. A few seconds later, the one responsible for the disturbance finally emerged.

"We can never get a break can we...?"

Jisung sighed.

"Time to go all out!"

Tom Yum charged to the stranger to unleash his attack.

But when he was about to reach him, he got swatted away into a nearby table. I couldn't even identify what the being was that hit him, but its owner must have a fetish for bones or something.

"Are you alright?!"

Suko asked very concerned.

"Yeah..., but please keep that demonized mutt away from me..."

Tom Yum replied, looking quite terrified.

The other food souls fled with Tom Yum to go get more help, and tend to his minor injuries.

"Who are you?! And why are you attacking us?!"

I inquired to the stranger as everyone else gathered around me.

"You'll find out soon enough who I am young Master~. But for now you're all taking a little trip~"

Jaemin suddenly pushed Taeyong and Suko out of the way, and an electrical barrier surrounded the rest of us after the stranger snapped his fingers.

"Hyung! Suko! Go get help!"

Jaemin yelled.

Taeyong was hesitant, but Suko convinced him to go with her.

Everyone else tried using their powers to break the field, but it was useless. The beast continuously walked around us to make sure we couldn't escape too.

Then, the stranger snapped his fingers again, and a portal suddenly opened up above us.

One by one, we were all getting sucked into the portal.

Chenle fearfully shapeshifted back into a squirrel, and hid in the pocket of my hoodie. I put my hands in the pocket and held onto him to make sure I didn't lose him.

"Hey young Master!"

The stranger yelled at me.

I was apparently the only one that hadn't gotten completely sucked in yet, along with Chenle.

"With you and most of your friends gone, the world you once knew, will belong to me~"

"Why are you doing this?!"

His smile changed to an angered frown.

"I'm here to settle the score. You took everything away from me, so now I'm taking everything away from you"

"What do you mean?!"

He just walked away with the demon hound, and took a piece of cake with him.

His frown changed back to a menacing, crazed smile.

"Good luck getting back asshole~"
