I complemented her nervously.

"Thanks~. It's Renjun right?"

"Y-Yeah, Huang Renjun"

Wow...

Her voice is so beautiful...

I've never met a girl with a voice so soothing...

"Why do you always stutter when you talk to me?"

She suddenly asked.

"W-What do you mean?"

"Like that. When you talk to your friends, you talk so confidently, but with me, you turn somewhat timid?"

"Oh... I'm sorry. I'm just not used to being around females. I've been around the others all my life. Oh, and they aren't really my friends per say. They're my brothers~"

"Really?? But... Then where are your parents???"

"...I think it would be better if my hyung Taeyong explains that. I'm still trying to completely accept what happened to them..."

I guess she really wants to know.

She at least has the right to know, so I agreed to it.

I knocked on the door, and Jungwoo answered.

"Why hello you two~"

"I smell Renjun¡!"

Lucas exclaimed, peeping over his shoulder.

"Why are you like this Yukhei..."

"What brings you two lovebirds here~?"

"W-We came to see Taeyong-hyung..., and we're not a couple..."

"Not yet~"

He winked.

"Lucas... Leave the poor children alone..."

Taeyong finally interfered, making Lucas walk away giggling.

"Anyway..., what brings you two here?"

"So..., this is Suko. She wants to know what happened to my parents"

"...Come on in"

In Renjun's Room

"That was a lot to process..."

She sighed as we laid in my bed together.

"I can't believe you're really half-angel and half-demon..."

"I honestly can't believe it either. But I do believe that they really loved me enough to sacrifice their own lives for me to be born"

"I believe it too. I'd say it was worth it too~"

"How do you mean?"

"I mean, Taeyong-oppa took you in after you were born, and raised you with your brothers, even if they weren't your biological family. And even though he knew you'd be a little different from the others, he didn't let that affect his decision. And besides, if you weren't born, I probably would've still been a prisoner to the Dragoons, or maybe even dead... But thanks to you and your family, I'm free and alive~"

She cuddled up next to me, catching me off guard.

"Maybe...,it was fate for us to meet. Either way, I'm glad I met you. I don't know how I'll ever be able to repay you~"

Before I could say anything back, she had fallen asleep while clinging to me.

I didn't have the balls to move her off, so I just stayed still until I finally fell asleep.

I woke up before her thankfully, so now I can easily get out of bed. I got up to check on Levi, and he was still asleep.

So cute~.

I decided that I should probably check and see if there's anything to do around the house. I got to the door, but I stopped.

I looked back at Suko, and she was still asleep as well. I sighed at the thought of our conversation last night.

"You don't have to repay me. I promise I'll give you back the life that was taken from you..."

Unfortunately, there was a mountain of dishes that no one decided to wash last night... But, I do enjoy washing dishes sometimes~.

As soon as I finished, I heard a small pitter-patter come in the kitchen.

I already knew it was Chenle, but I couldn't see him...?

"Morning hyung~"

I heard a small splash of water, and I saw a tiny squirrel in my dish water...

"Morning Lele~. Is this how you're gonna take a bath this morning?"

"Yup~. I'm too lazy to take an actual bath~"

He kept swimming for a few minutes, until he got tired. Then he hopped on top of my head and shook himself off, getting my hair wet in the process...

"Aish..."

"Sorry hyung~. Oh, I'm hungry!"

He jumped off, but actually came back to bring me a towel. He ran off again and came back with a plate of dumplings and a cup of tea, both of which Taeyong had made earlier.

"Can you warm these up for me hyung~?"

"Of course little one~"

I put the dumplings in the microwave for two minutes, making them nice and warm when I pulled them out.

The tea was already warm, so I added seven cubes of sugar and some milk, just the way he likes it.

"Thank you hyung~"

He cheered as he cutely munched on one, making me smile.

"What're you kids up to in here~?"

Taeyong cooed, looking half asleep.

"I just washed the dishes, and gave Lele some dumplings and tea~"

"I was hungry~"

He cheered.

"You're always hungry Chenle~. By the way, do you guys want to go somewhere as a family~?"

"Where?"

I asked with interest.

"The fair~! It just came to town last night~, but it's not just any fair~"

"What kind of fair is it?"

Chenle asked curiously.

"It's the Food Fantasy Fair~"

"The one with all the food souls coming to town?!"

I asked with shock.

"Exactly~. There are rumors that even Bonito Rice and Sanma Shioyaki will be there~"

"THE FAMOUS SANMA SHIOYAKI AND BONITO RICE?!"

We both shrieked.

"I'll take that as a yes that you'll go~. I'll go get the others then~"

He skipped off happily, leaving us in shock.

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?!"

Chenle shrieked.

"WE GET TO MEET CAT LOVERS!!"

"I'M GOING TO GO GET READY!!"

He shapeshifted back to normal, and quickly ran off with his tea and dumplings.

Now I have to run off to get Suko ready!

"Suko-shiiiiiii!"

"Nani?!"

She asked with shock from being woken up.

"Oh, sorry I woke you~. But you have to get up!"

"Why? What's wrong?"

"We're going to the Food Fantasy Fair~"

"SERIOUSLY?!"

"Yeah~, Bonito Rice and Sanma Shioyaki might just be there too~!"

"WHY ARE YOU STANDING HERE TALKING TO ME THEN?! WE GOTTA GET READY!!!"

She yelled, jumping out of bed.

I quickly followed behind her to the bathroom in excitement. This is gonna be a fun day~.
