Melody's POV

"Date Card!"

Groaning, I roll over and then feel a hand land on my face.

"Ow... what the heck Brynn."

"Sorry." She frowns then sits up.

I follow in suite and sit up rubbing my eyes. It seemed like we had all been so tired that we slept until eleven o'clock in the morning. Scarlett cracks her neck as she yawns.

"Ugh we gotta get up. There's a date card." I say making my way to my luggage.

Everyone gets up and does our usually bathroom routine then we make it downstairs. We are the last ones to arrive so we sit on the floor.

Today Riley was the one who found the card. She stands in her flannel pajamas with her red hair in a bun on top of her head. She squints looking through her reading glasses as she begins to read the card.

"Hanna... Hold on tight."

Hanna claps happily and does a little dance as she realizes that she's the girl with the first one on one.

"First one one one of the season. Lucky girl." Scarlett shakes her head.

"Ugh I need to go back to sleep." Caelynn says as she zombie walks back up the stairs.

I laugh as she walks right past a cameraman. She hadn't even noticed him because of how out of it she was. We are finally let go and Hanna goes on her date. Was I upset that I didn't get the first one on one... no. Was I supposed to be?

I get back to my room and hear Caelynn's light snores as she lays on top of her covers on her bed. Brynn walks in after a minute and stretches her arms up to the ceiling.

"I don't even know what to do today. I'm already bored and the day hasn't started yet."

I chuckle and nod agreeing with her, "Yeah I think I might sleep half the day."

Brynn nods then catapults on her bed. Within ten seconds, she's knocked out like a light. I shake my head in amusement.

"That girl." I mumble as I lay my head down on my pillow.

Within a few minutes, my eyes start to drop and darkness's takes over.

Feeling someone shake me, I slowly start to regain consciousness. Opening my eyes, I see Caelynn sitting on my bed.

"Hey sorry to wake you. Laura said she would like everyone to go to the confessional today. And you just might sleep the entire day if someone doesn't wake you."

She laughs as I nod and sit up, "You're not wrong."

She gets up and walks back to her bed then picks up a book and starts to read. I grab some clothes and walk to the bathroom. After I'm done doing my business, I walk back to the room and peek in to see Caelynn still there.

"Hey I'm going downstairs. You gonna join or stay here?"

She takes a second to think about it then shrugs and puts down her book, "I'll go. It's not like I don't have time to finish that."

Together we make our way downstairs and to the kitchen where we see Brynn, Evelyn, Stella, and Mila. We all say good morning well afternoon. I go to the fridge and grab some yogurt, then strawberries and rinse them off. After chopping them up, I toss them in my yogurt and grab a spoon then sit on the high chair by the island.

"Sleeping beauty's finally awake." Scarlett jokes as she walks into the kitchen.

"We played flag football yesterday... give me a break." I smile as I eat spoonfuls of my yogurt.

Scarlett shrugs and sits beside me, "True."

Later Stella gains our attention by starting to talk about being neighbors with the mean girls.

"They are so loud. Gabriella and I could hardly stay asleep last night. All they do is bicker and argue and gossip. They were talking about Natalie last night. They were like we shouldn't have made her captain. It's all her fault we lost. When really it's a team effort. I don't know what Tyler sees in them."

I say nothing as the girls start to talk about the mean girls. There's cameras all around the kitchen and I don't wanna seem like a gossip girl. I nudge Scarlett and tell her I'm going to the confessional. She nods and then turns back to the group.

Making my way outside I look for a beach hut which is where I was told is the confessional. Finally, I find it and walk inside. It's just a straw beach hut with a nice red carpet on the ground and a black chair in the middle. A red background is behind the chair. This is the set up that's always shown on tv. It seems so surreal being in here right now.

I sit in the chair then notice a monitor beside the camera. I then remember that Laura said if there is no camera person in the hut at the time there is someone in the tech room who will ask questions through the monitor. I sit and wait looking at the screen with a small smile.

'How do you feel about this whole process right now?'

I think for a second then look straight at the camera, "Right now I'm pretty syked to be here. It's very surreal sitting in this chair right now. I still forget that I'm actually on tv. I never would've thought I would be on tv trying to find love but I'm glad I did."

'Talk about Tyler'

"Tyler is... amazing. He's everything that a girl can dream of. He's nice to look at, fun to hang out with, and he's super sweet. I love talking to him and just being here trying to win his heart is such a dream."

'Do you think you'll make it past this weeks rose ceremony?'

"I know I didn't win the group date rose but I got the first impression rose which says something. There's something about me that caught his eye and I'm confident enough to say that I'm sure to stay another week-"

I open my mouth to continue but hear screaming and arguing right outside the hut. I make an uh oh face at the camera then grimace.

"Well guess that's my cue to figure out what that is."

I hurry out the hut and see Sadie and Piper having a full on blow. Both their faces are red from anger. I think about staying away but then sigh knowing that I'm such a nice person that I can't just leave them like this.

I walk up to the two and hold my hands up in surrender, "Guys what's going on?"

"Sadie is a freaking bitch is what's going on. You talk about every behind their back. Well now I'm in your face and you don't want to say anything."

Sadie rolls her eyes with a smirk, "Oh please you don't scare me."

Piper rolls up her sleeves, "I don't intend to scare you. I intend to kick your ass."

Piper leaps towards Sadie who jumps back quickly. I grab Piper by the waist trying to pull her away. With all the loud commotion a few girls come out the house and hurry over trying to help me. Finally, we get Piper to calm down.

"Piper if you fight you're kicked out... for good. Please calm down. We all know how Sadie is by now. Just keep distance."

Sadie laughs then walks away murmuring how pitiful we all were. All of us glare at the back of her head as she disappears.

Piper smirks, "She's the pitiful one. She acts like she's so tough but she's really scared. Ugh I can't stand her."

Piper walks away leaving me with Scarlett, Brynn, and Stella.

"I just knew things were gonna pop off soon." Stella sighs shaking her head.

"Hopefully no one goes home for this... well hopefully Sadie does." Brynn smiles evilly.

I can't help but agree in my head. Sadie has started trouble and who knows when it's going to end. It's only week one and enemies were already made.
