The Next Day

I got up when everyone started waking up and I ran to Jisung's room.

I stayed up all night doing research on Poseidon and his brothers, and I'm ready to confront Jisung about him.

I knocked on his door and he soon opened it, looking very sleepy.

"What's up hyung...?"

"Sorry if I woke you, but I really wanna know more about you and Poseidon"

"...Do you wanna start from when I was born? It was the same day Taeyong-hyung adopted me"

"We can start there~"

5 Minutes Later

I got Jisung some decaf coffee so he could wake up a little.

After he drank some, he seemed more awake and began explaining.

"Ok. So first off, I wasn't born as a baby. I was born at age four"

"REALLY?!"

"Yeah. I was just like any other body of water, ocean water. Poseidon formed my body from the ocean, and made me clothes out of the same water"

"COOL!!"

"Then this blue trident thingy appeared over my head, and he told me to follow it. And I followed it all the way to Taeyong-hyung, you, Chenle, and Donghyuck-hyung"

"EVEN COOLER~!!"

"Wait... That's not it. I just remembered something that happened while I was following the trident"

"Huh?? What happened??"

"There were these three guys that were following me, until Poseidon stopped them by trapping them in three whirlwinds made of water"

"Three guys..."

That sounds vaguely familiar to me...

"Jisung, follow me really quick"

I led Jisung into the kitchen where Taeyong and the other Dreamies were.

"Guys, I have a few questions"

They all gave me their undivided attention.

"How did Taeyong-hyung get to adopt each of you?"

"You were with Taeyong-hyung when he saved me from that alleyway. I had recently gotten kicked out by my abusive owner around that time"

Chenle stated.

"Same with me, but my parents kicked me out"

Donghyuck uttered.

"I ran away from my clan and got stuck in a tree~"

Jeno cheerfully announced.

"I fell asleep on Taeyong-hyung's porch after running away from home. And I saved Jeno from his said tree, then he got adopted"

Jaemin declared.

"I ran away from home after accidentally freezing my parents alive. I was freezing to death from the inside out because I couldn't control my power. Hyuckie and Taeyong-hyung saved me, and hyung took me in"

Mark smiled at Donghyuck.

"Now that I know this, did any of you encounter three strange guys before getting adopted?"

Taeyong looked extremely surprised that I brought it up.

"I did. According to Taeyong-hyung, they were trying to rape me"

Chenle revealed, bringing anger to everyone's faces.

I remember that.

"They tried to rape me too! But Taeyong-hyung and I stopped them"

Donghyuck cockily smirked.

"We didn't"

Jaemin, Jeno, and Mark looked a little confused.

"And I did too, but they never got the chance to do anything to me because Poseidon stopped them"

"Why would Poseidon stop them?"

Chenle asked.

"He's Jisung's father"

The other Dreamies looked to Taeyong with great shock.

"HE'S WHAT?¡"

"Anyway, do you know who those guys were Taeyong-hyung?"

I inquired, but he shook his head.

"I was coming back home with you from the grocery store the first time I encountered them. It was the same day I adopted Chenle, and since he was the first I adopted, besides you Injunie, I have no idea who those guys were"

I was kinda disappointed with that answer.

"But, I think Johnny-hyung might know something about them~. He did do most of the fighting against them after all~"

He exclaimed, reassuring me.

After we each had something to eat, Taeyong took us to Johnny's room to find answers on our old enemies.

In Johnny's Room

"Why hello~. What can I do for you all~?"

Johnny asked, happily opening the door for us.

"My little Dreamies have a little investigation going on, and want to interview you hyung~"

Taeyong happily explained.

Johnny just smiled and happily led us into his room.

"So, what would you kids like to know~?"

"We've just recently come to realize that several of us have encountered the same three guys that tried to harm us as kids. And hyung told us that you fought them off multiple times while he protected us. Do you know who those guys were???"

I saw his smile disappear when I finished explaining.

"Indeed I do"

He went to his nightstand and turned on his laptop.

He went through his files until he found what he was looking for.

He presented the screen to us, projecting pictures of three wanted felons side by side, each of them wearing a type of mask.

Seifer Lee,

Vexx Lee,

And Xander Lee.

Apparently, they're all brothers.

"Well... They upgraded from what I remember"

"Indeed they did Donghyuck. They own their own island and everything. They each have two powers, and they each have different personalities. Seifer uses the abilities Dust and Knockout Gas. Dust allows him to create ash-like dust from his body, which he often uses as a distraction, throwing dust at the eyes, nose, and mouth of his victims. But if he overuses it, his skin will become dry and rough. And with Knockout Gas, he can generate a grey colored poisonous, sleep-inducing gas from his body. He's the silent and depressing one of the three, and prefers to work in the dark"

"Fits his picture"

Mark hissed.

"Then there's the youngest, Vexx. His powers are Fiber Master and Spirit Possession. With Fiber Master, he has power over all types of cloth, being capable of telekinetic dominance over the threads that compose them. His victims are unable to resist this power as long as they are wearing clothes, but strong enough foes are able to react against it. And with Spirit Possession, he has the ability to convert his consciousness to spiritual energy, which he can send towards a target to possess them. You all can probably already tell by the picture, but he's the most chaotic and psychopathic one of the three, and usually likes to harm people for fun"

"Crazy bastard..."

Chenle and Donghyuck both hissed.

"Then finally there's the oldest and the leader, Xander. His powers are Mind Control and Monster. His Mind Control allows him to control the minds of others, with his victims being completely subject to his mental control. But if his victims were placed into a semi-conscious state, they may not have any recollection of the previous actions that they performed while under its effect. And his Monster ability is said to allow him to transform into two monster phases. There's his regular Ethorian form, then his Perfect form, then his final form called his Total Chaos form, but very few have lived to tell about Total Chaos. And it also says that his Monster ability can transform anyone he chooses into a monster, and the effects can't be reversed by regular means. Other than that, he's their leader with a very quick temper. His brothers know not to get on his bad side"

"So Xander is a pretty big deal..."

Jisung sighed.

"I can't believe these were the losers that pursued us in the past. How come they didn't use their powers on us??"

Mark scoffed in disbelief.

"I would think they didn't intend to, since we were kids much weaker than them. But now I'm thinking, since Taeyong-hyung and Johnny-hyung interfered with their plans, they probably built themselves up into super villains to get revenge on them later on. I'm also thinking that they'd try to either take us down or bring us to their side. They probably think we don't remember them since we were just kids when we encountered them"

I explained.

"...You have a good point Injun-"

"WAIT A MINUTE JAEMIN!! Johnny-hyung, you said that Xander can turn anyone he chooses into a monster and the effects can't be reversed by regular means right?!"

"Yes, why??"

"Do you guys remember my very first mission?? And that owl monster that I disintegrated?? Grover and Bleddyn said that their friend Aristotle, who was an owl, never returned to their realm when he left! And that they thought he might've been that owl monster we fought!!"

Everyone got silent at the sudden realization.

"Maybe Xander changed him into that monster with hopes that he'd get to Taeyong-hyung or Johnny-hyung, but instead, he died by my hand accidentally..."

"...I really wanna go kill them now"

Donghyuck nearly stormed out of the room, but Mark stopped him.

"Hyuckie, we can't just go and give them what they deserve just yet"

"But hyung! There's no telling what they would've done to me, Jisungie, and Chenle! I just wanna pay them back for what they could've done..."

"I know. I do too. But they're still much stronger than the seven of us. We still have more training to do. Think about it, even when we fused with our other selves from Earth, we still barely had a chance with our hyung's help against Leiyong. And, we nearly lost you... I can't bear to go through that again Hyuckie..."

"...Hyung"

Everyone stayed silent while the two of them were having their moment.

Mark and Donghyuck are very close. Everyone knows this. Ever since Hyuck helped Taeyong save him the day we met him, the two of them have been inseparable. So naturally, if anything ever happened to either of them, they'd be completely heartbroken.

It's the same for Jaemin and Jeno, and me and Chenle.

Ever since Jaemin helped Jeno out of the tree he got stuck in, they've been close. And ever since Chenle came to me that day Taeyong and I saved him, we've been close.

But he's very close with Jisung too.

One day, Chenle thought that swimming in his cat form was a good idea, but it quickly turned bad.

Keep in mind that he was still very young, not long after Taeyong adopted Mark.

He forgot that he didn't know how to swim in his cat form yet. Not to mention, he was still extremely tiny in that form. He would've drowned if Jisung hadn't saved him.

It makes sense to me now that Jisung was able to save him at such a young age. He's Poseidon's son, so naturally he'd be a good swimmer. But ever since that day, me, Chenle, and Jisung have been close.

I was already naturally close to everyone, since I was still the only one without any powers. They did pity me, but they still loved me even if I was powerless. And since I was super clumsy back then, they all did something to help me, and we all naturally got close.

Then I started helping them with problems they were having, and we all truly became brothers. And Taeyong was the silent, but caring, caregiver we loved and trusted. Even more so now ever since we learned his true identity, and his rather adorable and childish nature.

But anyway.

Taeyong took Mark and Donghyuck out of the room so they could calm down, leaving the rest of us with Johnny.

"Listen guys, I agree with Mark that we shouldn't fight them so soon. We should all build up our powers and fighting skills more. The journey to their island in an extremely dangerous one as it is. We could get killed before we even have a chance to fight them"

"Isn't there an easier and safer way to get there hyung?"

Jeno asked while Jaemin hugged him from behind.

"Unfortunately no. They made sure of that. There's only one way in and one way out. And I've heard that the way out is even more difficult than the way in"

"But I believe we can do it! Especially since Jisung's dad is Poseidon! He can help Jisung in his time of need!"

Chenle happily squealed.

"I beg you're pardon-. Who's Jisung's father???"

Johnny made sure to pay extra attention this time.

"My father is Poseidon. Why is everyone so surprised about that???"

"bECAUSE HE'S ONE OF THE BIG THREE!!!"

Johnny squealed.

"Jisungie, Poseidon's brothers are Hades, the god of the Underworld, and Zeus, the god of thunder and king of the gods. They're the three most powerful and famous gods out there. If you compared Taeyong-hyung to them, he'd be nothing but a speck of dust compared to them and their immense power"

I explained.

"Oh. I guess that means I'm über powerful right~? O-Or at least I can be~"

"Indeed~. But back to business. Just because we know the information we know now, we should still take our time to rest. Then we start our training, again"

"Right! Now I'm gonna go get breakfast and tell the others about Poseidon~!"

Johnny ran out of the room before Jisung could protest.

"Great he's gone. Jaemin, bring Mark-hyung and Donghyuck back here. I wanna talk to you guys about something"

I ordered him, and he nodded and left the room.

After a few seconds, he came back with them.

But this time, Donghyuck had a strip of bacon in his mouth and Mark was munching on toast.

"What did you wanna talk about Injunie??"

Mark asked, still munching on his toast.

"It's about how we all feel right now. You all feel the same rage towards those three right?"

They all nodded.

"And all of you feel like those punching bags in the new workout room aren't gonna help us blow off the fumes of our anger right?"

They nodded again but faster this time.

"Then I'm proposing we take action, in a not really taking action way"

"How do you mean??"

"Let's search for those who do evil in this city. It's dark enough for us to move in the shadows, so we can take them down easily. We just can't let anyone know"

"Not even JayJay???"

"Especially not Jay and her friends Donghyuck. We have to keep our ladies safe"

"Are you saying we should become undercover heroes hyung~?"

Chenle excitedly asked, earning smiles from everyone else in the room.

"Precisely~. Let's become vigilantes~"
