"Renjun, follow me. Hiss, Enzo, Levi, and the rest of you stay here"

Taeyong ordered, suddenly getting serious.

I followed him out of the room and into the elevator. Taeyong set the elevator to go to the lab for some reason.

When we got there, he set some coordinates that I didn't recognize into the teleportation pad. He then looked around until he found two flashlights, handing one to me.

He motioned for me to get on the pad with him, so I hurried up and got onto the pad.

We suddenly arrived in a dark forest, making me see why we needed flashlights.

We turned our flashlights on, and Taeyong led me down the now visible trail.

"Hyung, where are we??"

"These are the old woods far off from my old city. This is the only way to the place I'm taking you to"

"Does it have to do with the gift my mom wanted to give me??"

"...Yes"

He seemed kind of sad when he responded.

I chose not to ask him anymore questions until we got wherever we were going.

1 Hour Later

The forest has gotten a little lighter after an hour of walking, thankfully, so we turned off our flashlights.

"We'll be there in a few seconds"

Taeyong informed.

"Ok..."

We suddenly had to walk up a slightly steep hill, much to my expense.

My legs are already tired enough.

Now I have to deal with this hill...

But after a few seconds, we made it up the hill, and were presented with an old house.

I noticed he was just standing still in one spot and not saying anything, so I lightly shook his shoulder.

"Hyung, are you ok? What is this place??"

"This...was my second home"

"The second one?"

"Yeah... This is where I lived with Zhenya and Luoyang..."

"M-Mom and dad?"

He just nodded.

After a few more seconds of just staring at the house, he grabbed my hand and led me inside.

"This is where we always hung out..."

He sadly stated, walking throughout the rest of the house with me.

Everything was so worn out and old, and exceedingly dusty. It makes sense though.

Taeyong says he hasn't been back here ever since I was born. Johnny bought him another home, since he couldn't bear to live here by himself, and he never returned.

He probably wouldn't have come back here if I hadn't asked him about my mom's gift for me...

He led me upstairs to the only room that had a closed door.

He hesitated to open the door, but sighed and just opened it, revealing a small bedroom.

"Is this...?"

"Yeah... This was their room. I slept in another room downstairs, but they slept together in here"

"I see..."

He brought me over to the bed and crouched down, pulling out a medium sized box from under it.

To my surprise, it wasn't even dusty or worn out.

It was very shiny and clean!

"How is this box the only thing still intact in this whole place???"

"It's a box from your mother's heavenly realm. It's incapable of being affected by the elements of this world. So it's naturally still intact~"

He smiled brightly.

He seems a lot happier now.

"This is my mom's gift to me...?"

"The box, no. But you can still keep it if you'd like. This is her gift to you"

He opened the box, and revealed a huge key!

I picked it up and examined it entirely.

"What does it open hyung...?"

"I don't know~"

"H-Huh???"

"Just like your father kept Enzo a secret, she kept the purpose of this key a secret"

"But..., h-how am I supposed to know what it opens...?"

I began to tear up suddenly.

I just felt really emotional not knowing what this key was for...

"Injunie... Please don't cry... She did say that you'll know what it goes to, given time"

"B-But how hyung...?"

"I guess you'll know it when you see or feel it. It could be anything that requires a key to be opened. You just have to stay vigilant, ok~?"

He reassured, wiping away the few tears that fell from my eyes.

"Ok..."

He just continued to hold my face in his hands, and smiled at me.

"What~?"

"I was just thinking about something~"

"About what?? I wanna know~~"

He hesitated, but complied after I kept insisting.

"When you were still around six years old, you were extremely clumsy. This was before I adopted the other Dreamies, but you fell and scraped your knees one day. You didn't cry out loud. You just whimpered a lot while your tears fell. I brought you inside the house we were living in at the time, and I patched up your wounds. I held your face just like this while wiping away your tears and telling you it was going to be ok. You looked exactly the same as you did back then just now~"

I blushed a little from hearing that embarrassing backstory.

"R-Really..~?"

"Yup~. But we should get going. I know you're probably hungry right~?"

"Yeah~, and Chenle might eat all of the food if we don't hurry..."

Taeyong giggled and gave me the box after I put the key back inside it.

He took one final look at the room, and teleported us back home.

3 Hours Later

"You're a really good swimmer hyung~"

"Thanks Jisungie~. You're way better than me tho~"

Jisung and I decided to swim together two hours after we had dinner.

We haven't gotten to swim together in a while, and it was fun to finally to do it again.

We sat at the edge of the pool to relax before we went up to the showers, and we just decided to talk.

"Hey Jisung, how is it that you can breathe underwater??"

"I have no idea. I think it might have something to do with my first father, since I never had a mom"

His first father...

"You never talked about him before"

"There's not much to say. We don't talk much since he's not really allowed to talk to me where he's from. He just gives me advice about my powers here and there"

"Oh... Who is your father anyway?"

"Poseidon, if I'm not mistaken"

"Oh, ok"

I read about that name somewhere before.

In Greek Mythology, I believe.

If Jisung can control water and breathe underwater, then Poseidon is the god of the seas if I'm not mistaken.
