That asshole made me hit my head when he attacked me.

He tossed me into a hard ass boulder. I closed my eyes and held my head, groaning in pain. But something I heard felt, off.

I heard Renjun yelling and when I looked up, a green fiery aura was surrounding him.

He was going through drastic changes.

After watching him for a few seconds, I noticed that his twin was sitting on the ground in awe. I actually get why they separated though.

Hyung still considers himself "toxic" to other people. I know he thought that if he used any risky powers while he was fused with his twin, he might end up hurting him or altering his personality and body. Then again, he's not wrong. That actually would've happened. But even with that knowledge, he's not toxic if he can control his powers and make them his own.

If his morals of wanting to protect everyone and fight for justice stays the same, not even being half demon can change him, or anyone else.

Anyway, that's just how I see it.

Soon, the aura started to slowly dissipate, until it just became pixel-like, radiating around his body.

The changes to his body were now visible as well.

He now had two small horns on his head, pointy ears, a long black tail with a furry tip, and large green wings. His horns and the tip of his tail were on fire, and the wings looked as if they were sparkling.

And his Sword of Silicon even evolved into not one, but two Swords of Recompense!

I'm not gonna lie, I was a little scared, but I couldn't back up since I was leaned up against the boulder. Then I saw that demonized hound coming towards me, slowly but surely.

I tried to get up, but the pain was so bad that I fell back down, groaning even more.

But something weird happened.

Renjun was suddenly hovering over it, and attacked it from above. He started at the top of its boney head, impaling it with one of his swords, and sliced from its head all the way down its backside.

It loudly roared and tried to attack him back, but with Renjun's extremely increased speed, dodging became very easy to him. After a few dodges, he punched it hard across the face and it went flying into another boulder nearby.

After it regained itself and stood up straight, it was about to come charging at him again, but it stopped. It started growling and then it started whimpering. Not only that, it looked really scared and confused. Then, it started to disintegrate and blow away like dust!

Renjun finally learned how to properly use his Decomposition whenever he wants!

"You... What did you do?!"

The guy yelled angrily.

Renjun ignored him, knelt down to my level, and put his hand on my head. Immediately, I could feel the pain in my head start to go away, and all of my bruises and injuries were completely healed!

I didn't even know he had a healing power!

He helped me up, and grabbed my hand, leading me back to the others while his twin followed behind us. That guy tried to stop us, but it seemed as if Renjun put a really powerful force field around us, because he got knocked back pretty far.

When we got closer to the others, I ran over when I saw Mark crying over Donghyuck. He had apparently separated from his twin too, because he was standing over him.

"W-What happened Mark-hyung...?"

"H-He s-s-sacrificed himself....f-for C-Chenle..."

I looked at Chenle, and his ears and tail were drooping as he tried to stop himself from crying.

Taeyong was holding him close, trying not to cry too.

"Let me have him"

Renjun insisted.

Mark carefully gave Donghyuck to him, and Renjun hugged him tightly.

"All of you gather close to me"

We all obeyed and got into close proximities with him.

Suddenly, a new aura appeared, and everyone started getting healed.

After a few seconds, everyone was completely healed, but Donghyuck still wouldn't wake up...

Renjun loosened his grip on Donghyuck, and kissed him on the nose. He gave Donghyuck back to Mark, and started walking towards the guy.

"Be careful Renjun, please..."

Taeyong pleaded.

Renjun looked back, and just smiled a little before he continued walking away.

Him and the guy soon stopped when they got closer to each other. While Renjun looked extremely calm, he looked extremely pissed off.

"You just enjoy taking everything from me don't you, Huang Renjun?"

"Let it be known to you that soon, you're life will be over. That, will be the last thing I take from you"

Jeez. Hyung has gotten pretty hardcore.

The guy's umbrella then transformed into a Void Sword, an extremely powerful weapon!

We could all tell that he was truly pissed off now.

He and Renjun then began their long awaited battle, while we all watched with fainted breath from the sidelines.

I woke up in a confusing situation.

I remember seeing that guy charging toward Chenle, and I just acted without thinking. I couldn't bare to see my little brother get hurt. I'd never be able to live with myself if I let something bad happen to him.

So I just dashed to him, unfusing with my twin without warning.

I quickly got in front of Chenle, and I was the receiving end of the attack. The guy punched right through me, and I could feel his electricity coursing through me, slowly killing me.

He pulled out of me, and I collapsed. I soon felt the chill of someone I truly adore: Mark. His cold body comforted my once dying flames. I remember him pleading for me not to die, and I promised him I wouldn't, even if I thought I surely would.

But, I'm awake now?

I looked down from the position I was laying in, and my wound was completely closed up somehow? And I'm still laying on Mark's lap. I recognize that soothing chill.

"Hyung? What's going on??"

I spoke.

He jumped a little when he heard my voice, but he quickly looked at me and started crying.

"D-Donghyuck!"

He hugged me tightly, like he once did when we were little.

I hugged him back, happy to see that he was ok.

"D-Don't ever s-scare me like that again, you i-idiot..."

"Wait, where's Renjun-hyung?!"

I asked a little loud, making everyone else look at me.

"DONGHYUCK!!!!"

They all yelled, coming over to hug me.

Chenle hugged me a little longer and cried on my shoulder.

"I'm really glad you're ok little brother~"

I cheered, petting his head.

He started calming down and small purrs could be heard from him. I was happy to see that my twin was alright as well.

"But seriously, where's Renjun-hyung???"

"He's over there fighting the guy who almost killed you"

Jaemin pointed, looking over to where he was pointing.

Both were a pretty far distance from each other, and it looked like the fight was about to end. They both had energy balls in their hands. Renjun's was green, and the guy's was purple with lightning surrounding it.

"This battle is about to end, but only one of them can win"

Taeyong suddenly stated.

"Renjun-hyung will be the one to win, right? Jaemin, he'll win right?"

"...N-No... He won't..."

In that moment, they both started running towards each other, about to end the battle.

I got up and started running to Renjun, but Mark grabbed me from behind and stopped me.

"Hyung! Let me go!"

"There's nothing we can do! You'll get killed if you go!"

"But, Renjun-hyung!"

They both collided their energy balls together, and got caught up in an explosion.

It started releasing many souls that weren't his own, but I quickly captured them and added them to my roster. That way, they wouldn't hurt or possess anyone.

Even if I gained new souls for my collection, no matter how much I try to believe it's not true, there's absolutely no way that Renjun can survive this...

"RENJUN-HYUNG!!!"

After a few minutes, we saw the explosion disappear and that guy came floating down, but not in the way we expected.

He was carrying Renjun.

Renjun was clearly in an unresponsive state while that guy walked to us with him in his arms. Surprisingly, he released the others from the electrical barrier, and they came running to us with their weapons prepared.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER?!"

Donghyuck yelled with tears flowing from his eyes.

He was trying to attack him, but Mark held him back.

"Don't worry. He's not dead, just unconscious. I saved him just in time"

It was then I noticed the green flames, wings, and aura Renjun had were gone, but he still had horns and a tail and his ears were still pointed.

"What do you mean you saved him?"

I asked.

"That blast had no effect on me, but to him it would've been lethal. When we were running to each other, the power in his energy ball had significantly decreased. And it was on purpose"

"What?! Why?!"

"He said my life would end by the end of our battle, but he didn't mean it. He had no intentions of killing me, not even when I tried to kill all of you. We had a talk inside that explosion. He had finally figured out who I was, and he hugged me and apologized. He said if he could do anything to help me, that'd you all would agree to let me stay with you"

"Why would we agree to that? Just who are you?"

I asked, confused by Renjun's decision.

"I once thought he was the one who killed my family, but I was mistaking him for his mother and father. I thought that since they died right after he was born, that he'd have their memories. And when he suddenly transformed, I thought that proved my theory, but I was wrong. I was so mad because they killed my parents first, and I knew that his father...was my father's brother..."

"Wait... So you're...?"

His grip on Renjun got tighter.

"...When I realized that he knew nothing about my family's death, and that he only wanted to help me, I instantly regretted what I had done to him and all of you. Even after all of this, he just smiled at me. But he slowly started losing his power, and he became unconscious. I knew he would die if I didn't do something. So I acted fast, being afraid to lose the only family I have left..."

We all stood there in silence, and he finally addressed his shocking confession.

"My name is Xuan Leiyong, and Renjun...is my cousin..."
