We all instantly arrived at Heka City, one of the most dangerous cities on Ethora.

And the most well known for the most historic, and gruesome battles.

"Wooooaaaahhhh!! Is this where you all live?!"

Chenle's twin asked, completely astounded.

"Oh no no. We live in Erytol City, which is.....two thousand Ethorian miles away...."

"Is that far?"

"One Earth mile is two hundred Ethorian miles, which is pretty damn far"

"Oh..."

"It's much nicer than this though. But anyway, where's Taeyong-hyung?"

"Over there!"

Mark pointed to the left, making us all turn to his direction.

There were four people surrounding Taeyong and keeping enemy fire off of him. One had a shadow coming out of his chest that attacked its targets, and another, that was apparently Jaehyun, was using his Solid Air to prevent enemies from attacking them.

Another, that was actually Doyoung, had two guns and wore some Steampunk goggles.

Another one seemed to have a type of Persona, and wore a mask that resembled it. It shot powerful arrows at its enemies, and did a great deal of damage.

We all ran over to them to finally join the fight.

Many enemies tried to attack our twins, but we easily kept them away from danger and counterattacked.

"Taeyong-hyung! We're here!"

I yelled, getting his attention.

"Right! Everyone group up!"

Several others flocked to us and kept fire off of us. They even said hi to us~.

I guess they're Taeyong's friends.

"I'm glad to see that all of you made it here safe and sound. Now we can get straight to the fusion"

"Right. How does it work?"

"Just intertwine one of your hands together with your twins, and it should start to take effect"

We each grouped up with our twin partners, and locked our hands together.

Our hands and our bodies each started to phase together, and a powerful fire-like aura appeared around the ten of us.

Soon, the aura disappeared and our twins were gone. They were now a part of us, literally.

The fusion was a success.

"That felt so weird"

Mark stated.

We all looked at ourselves, and noticed a few different things.

We each had a ring that had each of our birthstones in them, and we each had a brand new weapon of our own.

Jisung had an Amethyst ring and a new water potion sword.

Chenle had a Citrine ring and a new kitten themed harp.

Jaemin had a Peridot ring and a cool new keyblade.

Donghyuck had an Alexandrite ring and a new Hell Sword.

Jeno had a Diamond ring and two new Chakrams, one green and one purple.

Mark also had a Peridot ring and two new ice blades.

Lucas had a Garnet ring and two new Kusarigamas.

Jungwoo also had a Amethyst ring and a kitten themed pistol.

Taeyong had a Ruby ring and a new Prismatic Sky Shatterer Sword.

And I had an Aquamarine ring and a new Sword of Silicon.

All of us also noticed that one of each of our eyes was the same color as our birthstones. Not only that, we all felt significantly stronger.

"Now, if my research is correct, we all should have gained a new power as well~"

Taeyong informed.

"Let's go into battle then! I wanna know what it is!"

Donghyuck exclaimed.

Taeyong agreed, and we all split up to fight off our enemies.

48 Hours Later
(192 Ethorian Hours Later)

This battle isn't getting us anywhere.

Every time we take someone down, more just keep coming. It's almost like he's got reserves or something. But on the bright side, we all found out what our new powers were.

Jisung's new power is Magnetism.

He can magnetize a person's entire body or specific portions. Once magnetized, the targets either attract or repel each other, depending on whether they're of the same sex or not. Men are polarized south, and women are polarized north, which is represented through a blue and a red aura, respectively. Although, he can't magnetize himself.

Chenle's new power is Crystallization.

It allows him to grow a large number of crystals from his body, covering his skin with them. The crystals are shown to be both durable and able to grow virtually instantly. He can also form his crystals into a sword that covers his arm in order to extend his reach. But despite their hardness, the crystals aren't unbreakable.

Jaemin's new power is Hardening.

It gives him the power to harden any part of his body. Hardening protects him from most physical threats. Once activated, he becomes capable of enduring attacks that would be otherwise lethal, without leaving a scratch. Even bullets are unable to pierce his skin.

Aside from increased defense, Hardening also grants Jaemin offensive power by turning his hardened body rough and sharp like rock, increasing his physical strength and allowing him to cut enemies by grazing on them. The only drawback to this power is that there is a limit to how much damage the hardened skin can withstand, causing Hardening to slowly dissipate.

Donghyuck's new power is Super Regeneration.

This power is pretty simple, in the sense that it has the ability to regenerate any sort of injuries on Donghyuck's body, such as missing limbs, at incredible speeds. However, if his body has already cicatrized those injuries, the power has no effect.

Jeno's new power is Compress.

It allows him to shrink down anything inside a spherical area into a small marble without actually damaging it. When used on a person, Compress effectively entraps them, terminating a fight in an instant and letting Jeno abduct them easily. If Jeno focuses on an area smaller than the target's whole body, he is able to compress only said area, while leaving the rest of the target's physique unaffected, mutilating them in the process.

Mark's new power is Earth Flow.

It allows him to manipulate the earth around him, being able to mold it into anything he wants. However, due to the nature of Earth Flow, it can be reasonably assumed that Mark holds a disadvantage in territories where soil is not readily available for him to manipulate.

Lucas' new power is Outburst.

It allows him to force others around him to burst into laughter so intense that it dulls their motor skills and cognitive abilities. It's useful for incapacitating enemies. When activated, a blue aura appears around him. It is unclear to me whether or not he must say anything to make people laugh, or if the laughter is purely spontaneous. But either way, I think it's absolutely ridiculous...

Jungwoo's new power is Flight.

It's a pretty simple power as well, seeing that it allows him to levitate and fly at high speeds. It's simple, but I think it suits him. It proves to be useful in combat too, especially with evading enemy fire.

Taeyong's new ability is Jet.

He can shoot air from the new propulsion boosters at the bottom of his feet, giving him an incredible jumping ability at great speed. With this power, Taeyong can easily overwhelm enemies with high-speed attacks. In enclosed spaces, he is capable of bouncing around the walls in order to confuse, and then strike opponents. He can use this power for support as well, by activating his powers while holding someone. This can allow him limited flight. He can only use the air that he breathes to propel himself through.

And my new power is Whirlwind.

It grants me the ability to completely control the air around me. I'm able to manipulate gusts of wind, with little to no movement from my body at all, letting me create strong gales and small tornadoes that I have full mastery over. Great winds can be used to propel me, the people around me, and different objects all at the same time.

While I can activate this power, even while subdued, Whirlwind loses significant strength and speed if I become unable to move my limbs around. As high temperatures are known to push air away, large amounts of fire may affect the flow of my wind as well, disrupting my control over the power.

By the way, if you truly think I know this much about these different powers, think again.

"WHY THE FUCK DO THEY KEEP COMING?! I WANNA GO HOME!!"

Donghyuck yelled angrily.

"Language! But I agree. This can't go on any longer!"

Mark exclaimed.

I suddenly felt something like an attraction, as if someone was trying to capture my attention.

I looked around until I saw a pole of purple lightning in the sky. And it seemed to be caused by the exact person I thought would cause it.

It was him.

Suddenly, that same purple lightning bolted towards everyone except for me and the others. Taeyong's friends weren't struck down, but he trapped them in an electrical barrier, similar to the one he trapped us in before.

"Don't worry. I have no interest in sending them anywhere. I just need them out of the way"

He stated, smiling that same smile as he walked toward us.

"What the hell do you want from us?!"

I exclaimed.

"Like I told you before, I want to settle the score with you. I want revenge. My entire life was changed because of you, and now I can never get it back!"

He suddenly lunged toward me, and I quickly lunged toward him.

He held his hands out, revealing the lightning bolts threatening to shock me.

But instead of my throat, his hands and my sword clashed.

"How could I take your life away when I don't even know you?!"

"HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW ME, YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!!!"

With my anger and power colliding with his, a blue fiery aura surrounded us as we both tried to achieve dominance.

"I just don't understand why you're so mad at me! I've never seen you before in my life!"

"Maybe you'll quit playing dumb if I did to you what you did it me!"

He broke our link, sending me flying to the side.

He went charging for the others, and I could see that he was going for Chenle first. He must've figured out that he's the one I'm the closest to.

But luckily, the others started holding him off, while I thought of a plan.

'Hey twin. Unfuse with me'

'What?! But your power-'

'My power will be fine. I remember something I read in one of my books. It has to do with me being part demon and part angel. When I say 'now', unfuse with me and go to the others for protection. I can't risk you getting affected by my power. You could end up getting hurt. Got it?'

'...Yeah. I'll do it. I won't let you down'

'Thanks a lot'

Taeyong kept Chenle close to him while the others fought him off. Donghyuck was dealing the most effective blows to him though.

I finally thought of a plan to attack him from behind, while Donghyuck fought against him. Donghyuck knocked him back and I lunged toward him for the attack, but I forgot about his little demon friend.

That damn hound grabbed me by my torso with its mouth, hard, and threw me to the side. Donghyuck was caught off guard by me getting thrown away and lost his focus, enabling him to be attacked and shocked by his lightning, then being tossed to the side as well.

The others tried to attack him, but even with their increased strength, it was futile. He managed to defeat them all easily, leaving Chenle and Taeyong helpless.

I could feel my anger riling up more, and small green flames started emitting from my body as I got up.

"Get away from my family. Now."

"Shut up you damn traitor. I'm taking everything you've ever loved away from you, starting with that damn cat!"

He yelled pointing at Chenle, making him whimper.

My flames grew more and became even hotter.

He lunged towards Chenle and Taeyong, and I tried to lunge to them too, but that damn hound knocked me away again. I thought Chenle was done for, but he stabbed someone else that wasn't Chenle.

It was Donghyuck.

Apparently, he acted quick enough to jump in front of Chenle before he could get to him. He punched right through Donghyuck, and he started coughing up blood.

"DONGHYUCK!!!!"

"DONGHYUCK-HYUNG!!!!"

Mark, Chenle, Taeyong, and I all yelled.

He pulled his arm out of him, and Donghyuck fell to the ground, whimpering in pain.

Mark ran to him and I did as well. The demon tried to stop me again, but this time I knocked it back.

Taeyong, Chenle, and I went up to Donghyuck, while Mark started crying holding him in his arms.

"M-Mark-h-hyung..."

"D-Donghyuck, d-don't die on me...., p-please..."

"I w-won't... I...promise..."

Donghyuck softly stated, closing his eyes.

Mark and Taeyong repeatedly called his name and Mark softly shook him, but he didn't respond.

"Donghyuck-hyung..."

I could see the tears welling up in Chenle's eyes, looking down at the motionless Donghyuck in Mark's arms.

But then, Chenle suddenly shrieked. We looked up, and he was holding Chenle up by the nape of his neck.

"Damn it!"

Taeyong cursed.

"I wonder how many of the little kitten's lives I would have to take for him to die~"

In that moment I felt different.

In that moment, when I saw Chenle crying again, I felt nothing but rage. I felt my flames burn hotter and grow larger. I felt my canines and ears sharpen, and I felt something growing in my backside and on my head.

I felt...different.

In that moment, I lost it.

"GET AWAY FROM MY BROTHER!!!"
