After the Ceremony

While BTS, Force 127, and everyone else hung out back at their dorms, our twins took us to Myeong-dong to go shopping.

So the fourteen of us took the ship and went to many different shops. Afterwards, we went to a really nice restaurant together. After we finished eating, Jeno's twin gave us directions to Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond.

It's a very pretty place if I do say so myself~.

We parked the ship a couple feet above the ground, and we just hung out on the grass by the water.

Each of us did different things with our twins.

Jisung was stone skipping with his twin. His Ori soon appeared out of nowhere, and they both started playing with it.

Chenle and his twin laid on the grass, and gazed at the clouds above.

Jaemin was playing an intense game of I Spy with his twin.

Donghyuck decided to name his shadow dragon Dongsook, and introduced him to his twin.

Jeno was quietly watching One Piece on his phone with his twin.

Mark and his twin were eating freeze pops while walking around.

And my twin and I just sat on the edge of the retaining wall, having a much needed chat about everything that's happened after we last met.

10 Minutes Later

"So you really almost died?!"

My twin questioned with shock.

"I did, but Hobi-hyung helped everyone bring me back~"

"I had a weird feeling that something went wrong, but I didn't know that it was that serious!"

"You had a weird feeling?"

"Yeah... It was around the time when things started going back to normal. I just felt a pain in my heart, and then a feeling of emptiness... But then, that pain was just gone. I was worried something bad happened you, but I didn't want to jinx you if everything was fine"

"Oh... Sorry I made you worry. I just had to do what was best for my family..."

"No worries man~. I totally understand~"

He gently pat my shoulder, reassuring me with his kind smile.

"Oh shoot. I didn't even introduce you to Suko yet..."

I sighed at my incompetence.

"No worried man~. I already met her~"

"Really???!"

"Mhm~. I met all of your family~"

"That was fast! When did this happen?!"

"At the ceremony~. They all came up to me after they introduced themselves. I guess they thought I was you, but realized I wasn't when they saw that I didn't have horns or a tail. I recognized Suko right away, because of the picture you showed me the first time we met. She's really pretty~"

"T-Thanks~"

I blushed.

"Oh! And they all had only good things to say about you~. Your parents and uncle even explained everything that happened in your final battle, and how amazing you were~. They just kept talking about how powerful you were, and how you saved everyone, and how you brought your family back together!"

"T-They said all of that???"

"Mhm~. But I wanna know something. Are you really the only one of your kind?"

"I wanted to know that too. Is it true?"

Jeno's twin spoke, pausing the anime.

All of our twins agreed that they wanted to know and halted their actions all together, giving me their undivided attention.

"...It's true. I'm the only known surviving Nephalem on Ethora, and anywhere else. None of them lived to even harness their first power, because their powers had no purpose"

"No purpose?"

My twin questioned.

"It's an exceedingly rare phenomenon called the Effect. In this phenomenon, the word Effect is just another word for Purpose. This means that a Nephalem's powers have to have a purpose in order to work"

"It's basically like a cause and effect scenario, to put things simply. For example, Renjun brought out his first power on his first mission years ago. We were facing a powerful opponent, and none of us could help him after most of us were injured and knocked out. But he ended up using his first power in the end when it charged to attack him. The cause of him using it was solely because of the fear he felt. He thought he was going to die, but because he didn't want to, he felt that even though he was scared, he had to save himself in order to stay alive"

Mark explained.

"Right. So, that's how my Decomposition power activated at the last second. That day, was the day that I won my first battle. So, Nephalems like me become powerless beings if we have nothing or no one to give us purpose. But when we do find our purpose, we become exceptionally powerful beings. So, I guess being both angel and demon has it's ups and downs"

Our twins went silent, but my twin just smiled.

"But you still pulled through. You unlocked all of your powers, you saved your family and finally met your parents, you saved countless worlds, and so much more. You've done what once seemed to be the impossible, and that's amazing. You're amazing, all of you are~"

"We didn't do nearly as great as Renjun-hyung though. We're not nearly as powerful as is"

Jisung admitted.

"It's not about power. In the end, it wasn't power that Renjun used to save the worlds, his uncle, and everyone else. He didn't win with power. He won with love"

They all seemed surprised and confused with my twin's analogy.

But I'm not. He read me like a book.

"He's right. Uncle Xinyi wanted nothing more than to be with my dad again, but he just couldn't reach him on his own. That's why he resorted to violence and destruction, because he was too deep in his despair. I may have used my power to help him, but it was love that saved him. I never hated him, and I never planned on killing him to save everyone. My only objective was to show him the love and care that he had been denied for so long. That's how I saved him"

They all stayed silent.

"It's the same with Zuho, Leiyong, and Suko. Yoonho and I had to show Zuho that he wasn't alone. Our love for him brought him out of his dark place, and reunited us as brothers. And back in the war when I battled Leiyong, I decreased my power on purpose, to show my true intentions, that I meant him no harm. I showed him compassion. That's how he realized his error. I showed him nothing but love after that, and look where we are now"

"And Suko?"

My twin questioned once more.

"...We loved each other from the start"

"WHAT?!"

All of our other twins shrieked.

"The seven of us were in a battle against a group called The Dragoons, who were some really bad guys. Suko was one of them, but we all thought she was a boy at the time because she had on a mask. But after we finished off the rest of them, I unmasked her, and that's when I realized that she was a girl. We had injured her, but not intentionally. So, we took her home with us and I healed her, with Jaemin's help. I showed love and compassion to her, because I wanted to gain her trust and help her get comfortable around me. She soon revealed that she was forced to work with The Dragoons, and that they threatened to kill her if she didn't cooperate. That's when I knew I saved her. That time we spent together, was a crucial point in our relationship. Neither one of us knew it, but that was when we fell in love with each other. Though I saved her before, this was how I truly saved her, emotionally"

"I get it. You got her out of both dark places, which is how you saved her completely. You saved her from her captivity with power, but you saved her soul with live"

I nodded at my twin's explanation.

"It's no surprise. You're a walking heap of love and compassion. It's no wonder you've saved so many people, physically and emotionally"

Jeno smiled.

"Furthermore, I can't wait to see you two get married. That'll be a day to remember for sure"

Chenle smiled.

"Oh yeah. I am at the age to propose to her"

"YOU'RE WHAT?!"

Our twins shrieked once more.

"Oh, I didn't mention this before. Ethorians are allowed to marry at eighteen years of age. So technically speaking, all seven of us are of age to propose to our girlfriends"

"Oh! You mean those other six girls that approached us right?"

My twin asked, and we nodded.

"You guys really have it made..."

Mark's twin sighed, nibbling on his freeze pop.

"When do guys plan to propose"

My twin inquired.

"We've talked about it, and we've decided to propose in two years"

"I see... This gives me an idea~"

"What is it???"

"I'm not telling until you guys propose~"

"Must be one great idea then~"

He just smiled.

"We should head back to the dorms. It's getting late"

Jisung's twin yawned.

"Oh yeah, and we have to get ready to head back home tomorrow..."

Jaemin sighed.

"All aboard then. We'll be back at the dorms soon"

I stretched as I got up, and led everyone into the ship.

I set the autopilot for the dorms, and relaxed with the others as we cruised.

"Oh yeah. Not only are we of age to marry, but we're also of age to have kids. So when we propose in two years, we'll be able to have kids no problem"

"Ah okay~"

My twin smiled.

Our other's twins just stared at us with shock, confusing us and my twin.

"What's wrong?"

He asked.

"KIDS?!?!"
