"The fish are so pretty~, aren't they~?"

"They're very pretty hyung~"

Hendery and I were on a walk, and stumbled upon a pond of Koi Fish.

We've been admiring them for a while, watching them swim by unbothered. It's said that Ethorian Koi Fish represent perseverance.

If you stumble upon one, it's guaranteed that you'll be given the persistence you need to complete a difficult task, no matter what that task may be. And seeing more than one only amplifies that persistence.

"Renjun-ah? What do you think we'll have the persistence to complete?"

Hendery suddenly asked.

"Beats me. But in my opinion, I think it would be the persistence to finally take Xander down"

"Oh... I see..."

He suddenly stood up.

"L-Let's head back, shall we~?"

He smiled.

He looked really nervous all in a sudden.

I didn't want to make him uncomfortable, so I got up to walk back home with him. But now, he's walking really fast and he's not saying a word.

I quickly grabbed his hand to stop him.

"Hyung? What's wrong? Was it something I said?"

He immediately turned around to face me.

"N-No! Not at all! It's nothing you said or did! It's j-just..."

"It's about Xander, isn't it...?"

He paused for a minute, but nodded.

He's scared...

"He seems like a very powerful guy. And if provoked..., we don't know what he might do... What if I end up losing Yang and Xiao-hyung...? Those two are my best friends... I don't know what I'd do if I lost them to that maniacal monster......"

His hand was shaking, and he got more tense the more he thought about it.

As a knight, he's been through a lot of stress on his old world, especially while trying to protect Serafina and Nora. But, seeing how close he is to Xiaojun and YangYang, this is probably the most stressful situation he's been in.

Having to face someone as powerful as Xander, worries him about the safety of his friends.

Before I could say anything to comfort him, we saw a small figure walk past both of us. It suddenly stopped, and turned its head around to look at us.

It was an Ethorian Falcon!

What great timing too!

Ethorian Falcons represent something great as well~.

They represent protection and protectors.

"Hyung?"

"Yeah...?"

He continued to stare at the bird, but I smiled nonetheless.

"They'll live, by your protection~"
