"Renjun-ah~. You'll try one, won't you~?"

I was in the kitchen with Yuta.

I stumbled in on him cooking something. I've never seen him cook anything before, so I decided to stay and watch.

Apparently, he was making Takoyaki Balls, but these had bits of octopus protruding from them.

I eagerly took one and ate it, and it was amazing!

"Hyung! It's really good~! Have you made this before~?"

"Actually..., I haven't. At least, I don't think I have. It just...came to me"

"Do you think it's a memory from your past life on Earth?"

"I think so. But, why would I remember this instead of something about my parents...?"

"...I think it might be the same situation like with Lucas-hyung and Jungwoo-hyung"

Yuta seemed confused.

"They don't remember anything from their lives on Earth either. However, their situation is a bit different, since they died. But, I think that since they were together when they died, they were still able to remember each other"

"So..., when I was removed from the Earth to be reborn here, I must've had Takoyaki in my presence in some way. Could that be why I suddenly remember how to make them...?"

"I think so. Since you didn't actually die, it took you a long time to finally remember it. But either way, you both experienced the same type of thing, since the three of you only remember the last thing or person you loved that was in your presence"

"..."

He pondered on it for a bit, but then he realized something.

"I remember what happened the day I was reborn..."

I gave him my undivided attention.

"I was a college student, with a major in culinary arts, and I loved making Takoyaki especially. It was time for me to leave home to go back to my dorms. That morning was the last time I saw my parents. The dorms weren't far from home, so I decided to walk that morning. I was hungry, since I left not long after I had woken up. I came across a Takoyaki stand, and the balls were made the exact same way that I just made them. After paying for them, I sat on a nearby bench under a tree, ready to indulge in their deliciousness. But..., it's funny. I remember buying them, and I remember lifting one of them up to my mouth, but I don't remember eating them at all...."

"That must've been when you got teleported here"

"I guess so... I could only remember my name, but I'm glad Taeyong-hyung was there for me. I probably wouldn't be alive right now, if not for him..."

He sadly pouted, and played around with the Takoyaki Ball on his plate.

He really misses his life on Earth...

But, I'm glad his twin on Earth is living the life he would've had, with all of our other twins.

"I'm glad he was there to save you too hyung, because if he wasn't..."

He looked over at me, curious about what I wanted to say.

I just smiled at him.

"..., then I wouldn't have gotten the chance to meet someone as amazing as you~"
