Tim couldn't help being a bit nervous himself. Once he knew she was sleeping he slipped off the bed and grabbed his phone. He walked to the front of the house just off the porch so she couldn't hear him and called Dr. Kim.

"She's been doing great, more relaxed and no headache until today. We were out shopping when it suddenly started. She didn't get the usual warning this time. We've been out in the sun more each day and she's tolerated it well" Tim explained. "She's concerned it's growing again" he added.

"Tim, I didn't see anything in the test results that we conducted before you left that would give any indication that it was. The size had not changed. There is always a chance of the migraine flareups, unfortunately that will always be possible. Have her rest, no exertion the next 24 hrs. Increase her medications by 1 tablet each. Also increase her fluid intake, more water than anything else and keep her in a cooler environment for the time frame. If the pain increases or other symptoms appear, call me and I'll make arrangements for her to be seen on the main island" Dr. Kim advised.

"Yes sir, I will. Thank you" Tim replied.

"And Tim, try not to worry. We're staying on top of this" Dr. Kim replied before hanging up.

"Easy for you to say" Tim said aloud, not knowing Caroline was standing on the porch behind him.

"What did he say" she asked nervously.

" Hey, you're supposed to be resting" he said while walking back to the porch.

"I needed to use the bathroom and heard you talking to someone. You called Dr. Kim didn't you" she said as he stepped towards her.

He didn't want her to know he was just as concerned as she was, he tried to hide it when he replied "yes, I thought I'd double check on the giving you the extra pill, if it was ok"

"You're not a good liar" she said "you're as nervous as I am"

He slid his arms around her " I wanted to ease your mind and let him know you're concerned"

"And so are you. You try so hard to hide it, for my sake, but I know..you're just as scared as I am" she stated.

He leaned his forehead against hers "maybe" he whispered.

"What did he say" she asked.

Tim explained everything Dr. Kim told him "so you need to get off your feet, take your additional meds and relax".

Caroline shook her head "that's all I've been doing...ugh it's frustrating..I'm not an invalid but it makes me feel like such a burden to you".

"You're not now nor will you ever be a burden to me Caroline" Tim stated as she stepped away walking to the other side of the porch.

Changing the subject she commented "This place is absolutely gorgeous..I could stay here forever..."

"So why don't we" Tim interrupted.

"We should be enjoying this place, each other...wait, what did you say?" she remarked turning to face him.

"I said why don't we..why don't we stay here, forever..." he told her as he walked up to her.

"You can't be serious..we can't afford this...what about your Mom and Emily" she asked.

"I am serious..yes, we can afford this, thanks to Nana...and Mom and Emily would love being able to come here for visits" he told her excitedly.

"You sure you don't have a 'George' growing in your head?" she asked jokingly "cause you're talking crazy right now"

Tim wrapped his arms around her "I'm serious, why not?"

She looked up into his eyes "because I really do have a 'George' growing in my head. And at some point he's going to rear his ugly head and I'm not going to be me anymore. Do you really want to be stuck on an island with that?" she replied sadly quickly looking away.

"Darlin, look at me" he said gently raising her chin, her eyes meeting his "if that day comes, which I pray to God it doesn't, but if it does I will be right by your side. I will hold you, I will comfort you, I will accept your fate as mine. I love you more than life itself and would give up mine for yours. So, answering your question, yes I really want to be stuck, as you put it, on this island with that" he told her before kissing her gently.

Tears flowed from her eyes as she leaned back a bit "but I'm broken" she cried.
He pulled her close, "no my love you're not broken, only bruised. And those bruises, both inside and out, are healing more every day"

"What about Boden....what if..." she began to sob. Tim held her tighter, "he's never ever going to hurt you again. Come, let's get you back inside where it's cooler and you can relax before your headache worsens ."

It already had, she stumbled a bit walking back inside, Tim noticed immediately and scooped her up carrying her back to the bed. Easing her back onto the bed he quickly grabbed the extra medication and water as Dr. Kim advised. "Please try to relax and rest" he said softly as he gave her the medication.
