❃ KPOPJUNKEE : Why Park Jisoo Isn't Made for Girl Groups

ATTENTION! READ THIS BEFORE PROCEEDING!

if you don't know the youtuber KPOPJUNKEE, then I don't know what you are doing.

He is a youtuber who does kpop theories and even shares his opinion on kpop related news, topics and everything. I recommend.

I thought it would be cool if he did two "videos" on my character with topics that are the most argued about throughout the kpop fandom.

So. Here you go! Spam me with comments and opinions and I hope you enjoy.

This is all in his video POV, by the way.

____________

So, this topic had been argued about since BTS debuted back in 2013.

The world was shocked when they debuted with a female member such as Park Jisoo.

Not many thought they would last. One of the reasons being that a female couldn't be in a Male dominated group.

But let's talk about why Jisoo wouldn't have survived in a girl group.

Remember, these are just my opinions. I do not mean to offend anyone or anything. This topic is open for discussion.

Park Jisoo is a native of Incheon.

She was born on Yeongjongdo Island, which is one of the islands of Incheon. The main island, actually.

When she was 2 years old, she moved to the mainland of Incheon and lived beach side, right near the bridge connecting the island to the mainland.

When she was 8, she was discovered by not only BigHit.

But by YG, SM, JYP, Pledis, Starship and, from what I heard, Cube.

For someone who wasn't even a teenager yet and then finding out that all of these big companies wanted her, fought for her, is mind blowing.

At just 8 years old, Jisoo was accepted into major companies because of her tremendous talent.

Which is very wild.

But, we all know where she chose to stay in.

Now, it was said that Jisoo was given the choice by Mr. Bang, himself, to transfer to SM. Which she did train with them for awhile before going back to BigHit.

It was also said that she was training to be the new maknae for Girls Generation. Which I think would've been so cool to see her go through the retro concepts like All Night or Holiday.

But it didn't work out.

Jisoo, herself, explained that she didn't feel in place with them. She didn't feel like she should be there. Which was why she chose to stay in BigHit.

My opinion on this is, Jisoo wouldn't have survived in a girl group to begin with.

Now, before you get mad at me. Here are my reasons.

Jisoo has a very strong voice. Her singing style is like Wendy from Red Velvet or Chungha or Solji from EXID.

She has the talent for a girl group and the crazy amount of charisma that would fit her in well with a girl group but Jisoo has something that not many could see.

Something that made her perfect for BTS.

And that's her balance.

What I mean is, SM is known for caring about visuals a lot. They have talented idols under their belt but they seem to always care about visuals the most.

JYP is another label that cares a lot about visuals.

But that's not to say that either doesn't care about talent because if they didn't care, we would probably not have NCT, Red Velvet, F(x), GOT7, Twice or Stray Kids or Day6.

But what I mean is, Jisoo's ability to balance her visuals, her talent and her charisma perfectly made her fit into BTS perfectly.

Whereas if Jisoo would have debuted with Red Velvet, all anyone would see is her visuals and not her talent.

If she were to be placed into BlackPink, they wouldn't see enough of her to know she has charisma.

Mr. Bang placed Jisoo in a Male dominated because she is a perfect balance of all three of those things.

He could have her showcase all three perfectly all while still being able to perfectly showcase the other members without one outshining the other.

Jisoo is the balance the group needs.

She is truly the heart and soul of BTS.

Without them, she wouldn't be as happy as she is now.

And it shows through each comeback, mv, and performance.

Jisoo is their happiness and their glue that sticks the boys together. Their peace maker, their haven.

And the boys are her anchor.

Bangtan became a strong family. Like building blocks.

You take one away, the rest fall.

You take Jisoo away from Bangtan, they fall. You take any of the other members away, the rest fall.

I, for one, will forever be grateful for Mr. Bang for this.

Not only did he create a group that would later on take over the world and lead the new generation into this life time.

He gave us Park Jisoo.

A girl who shocks the world everyday for her visuals, blue eyes and talent.

And that is enough to say thank you to Mr. Bang for giving her a chance to shine.

So, do you agree?

Someone asked me this question like yesterday. They asked if Jisoo was in a girl group, which one would she be in and I told him that the way I made Jisoo, she wouldn't survive in a girl group.

But if I had to choose, it would be either Red Velvet ( she would slay the Peekaboo and Bad Boy era ), Snsd

Twice ( she would honestly look so good in Dance The Night Away and Yes or Yes )

Loona-Odd Eye Circle, G-Idle and Dreamcatcher.

Love ya!
