It was the day of Jamie's funeral, Sofia stood in front of the Jamie's picture and looked down and sobbed quietly. Paulina steps next to her and intertwined her fingers into her older sisters fingers. "I can't believe he's gone..." Sofia spoke softly as she stared at the picture. "I miss him so so much Pau," Sofia turned her head to her sister and let tears run down her face.

Paulina pulls Sofia into a tight hug, "We all miss him, Sof.." the two sisters are joined by Kimberly and Maureen. After the funeral everyone was now outside talking and Nova was walking over with Laura while Laura had Cameron in her arms.

"Mommy..." Nova let's go of Laura's hand and went over to Sofia while Laura was holding Cameron still.

Sofia wiped her tears and picked Nova up, she kissed the top of her head as Nova hides her face into the inside of Sofia's crook of her neck.

Jamie's friends John and Emily were also there alongside EJ. But also Jessica was also there, she walked over to Sofia who just looks at her and stares at Nova. "She's beautiful..." She gave Sofia a small smile.

"What are you doing here, Jessica?" Kimberly says as she stood in front of Sofia as she glares at the girl in front of her.

"I wanted to pay my respects...." Jessica responded as she looked at Kim, who seemed to not believe her.

"Right....that's hard to believe when Jamie hasn't contacted you since..." Kimberly says bitterly as Jessica stepped closer to her.

"You know....you need to watch your attitude with me...." Jessica looked Kimberly up and down before anything could happen.

Paulina pulled Kimberly away. "Kimberly this isn't the right time...." Paulina rubbed her hand on Kimberly's arm before Kimberly nodded and went back to John's side. "Jessica you need to leave," Paulina told her.

Jessica just glared at the girl in front of her, before she left in her car.

It's been a few weeks later, and all of Sofia's family and friends had tried to get to her back to normal life but Sofia resisted until she knew she had to for the sake of her children.

Sofia was doing some work on her laptop while Cameron was asleep and Nova was on her iPad, "Mommy where's Daddy?" Nova looked over at Sofia who places the laptop on the table to look at her daughter.

"Daddy's away, baby," Sofia gave her daughter a small smile before looking back to her laptop.

"Daddy's been gone for a while," Nova says as she went over to Sofia and sat on her lap.

"He'll be back, baby," Sofia ran her fingers through Nova's hair.

"Can we call daddy? I wanna tell him that I miss him," Nova kept asking her.

"No!" Sofia raises her voice, but instantly regretted it as Nova's eyes filled with tears as she ran to her room and closed it.

"Shit," Sofia got up and walked over to Nova's room and gently knocked on it, "Nova opened up," her voice cracked, as tears ran down her face. Nova doesn't open the door, but Sofia quietly opens the door to see her daughter crying on in her bed. Sofia walked over to the bed, and pulling Nova into her arms as she sat onto the bed, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to raise my voice at you baby," Sofia said as she ran her fingers through Nova's hair as she sobbed into her shoulder.

"I miss daddy," Nova mumbled into Sofia's shoulder as she continued to stroke her hair.

"I miss him, too baby," Sofia's voice cracked again.

"When is daddy coming home?" Nova asked again as she pulled away to look at Sofia.

"I don't know baby," Sofia wiped underneath Nova's eye as she places a kiss on her forehead before Nova continued to cry into her shoulder, after a few minutes Nova had cried herself to sleep into Sofia's arms. Sofia gently hugged her as she places her down on the bed, pulling up the quilt over her then placing a kiss on her forehead again.
