As the play ended and the actors bowed, Wonwoo clapped so much that his palms turned red. He loved the play so much, then again, he appreciated each and every form of literature, unless it sucked.

He glanced at Mingyu and realized the puppy was fast asleep. He chuckled before waking him up. "It's time to go puppy." He stood up and helped the boy get up too.

"Already?" Mingyu wondered and Wonwoo nodded. "You slept through all of it."

"Sorry." Mingyu looked down but Wonwoo just smiled. "You don't need to apologise, I enjoyed it very much, didn't even realise you'd gone off to dreamland." Wonwoo replied making Mingyu laugh.

"I can't wait to just get to the house and sleep. This has been the best birthday ever and I know I keep saying thank you but really, thank you Gyu." Wonwoo thanked the boy again and Mingyu beamed as he held Wonwoo's hand.

"What can I say? It's just the philanthropist in me." Mingyu shrugged and Wonwoo put his hand on his chest. "Are you insinuating that I am poor?" Wonwoo asked, catching Mingyu off guard.

"No! I was just talking about like, my generosity, not that you need it or an-"

Wonwoo put his finger on Mingyu's lips, shushing him. "Don't worry, I know what you meant." He assured Mingyu before removing his finger.

"Oh, okay." He watched as Mingyu went quiet, his cheeks reddened again. "I've been making you blush a lot lately." Wonwoo pointed out, feeling bold all of a sudden.

"No, I'd say I've been making you blush a lot." Mingyu touched Wonwoo's cheek which instantly made him go red as well.

"No, it's just really hot here in Jeju... I'm sensitive to heat." Wonwoo formed and excuse which Mingyu chuckled at. "Oh really? Then me too, I'm also sensitive to heat."

Wonwoo laughed at Mingyu. "You just stole my reason, you thief." Wonwoo scolded and Mingyu rolled his eyes. "Doesn't matter." He retorted, moving closer to Wonwoo.

Wonwoo's heart stopped as he looked into Mingyu's eyes. Did he not know they were in a public place? What was he trying to do?

"It's all an excuse anyway." Mingyu's words brushed up against Wonwoo's ear, turning his ear red as well. Wonwoo gulped as Mingyu leaned in, that mischievous smirk on his face as he eyed Wonwoo up and down.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Wonwoo stuttered, failing to catch his breath. "Proving you wrong, it's not the heat... it's me." Mingyu winked before stepping back.

"I hate you." Wonwoo folded his arms and began to walk away quickly. Mingyu followed behind him. "Actually, you seem to like me."

"Me? I seem to like you?" Wonwoo asked like he'd heard this for the first time. "Mhmm." Mingyu answered. "You must be blind dear." Wonwoo replied and Mingyu chuckled before Wonwoo joined in, the two laughing as they walked down the stairs.

Reaching the beach house, Wonwoo spotted a setup on the beach right next to the ocean. A table had been set up with lit up candles surrounding it.

"Ready for your birthday dinner?" Mingyu asked, his face getting closer to Wonwoo's. "I really don't deserve all this." Wonwoo murmured.

"You're right, you deserve even more." Mingyu took Wonwoo's hand as they both got down from the car.

The two walked towards the setup and Mingyu pulled out Wonwoo's chair for him. Wonwoo sat down before Mingyu went to his own chair.

In front of them was Wonwoo's favourite meal, kimchi bokkeumbap specially prepared by Chef Lee. Wonwoo's mouth watered at the sight of the food.

"Wait! Don't eat first!" Mingyu extended his palm and at that moment, the happy birthday song began playing. Wonwoo's eyes darted to the direction of the sound and coming from the beach house was Chef Lee with a 3 tiered cake and a trumpeter playing the happy birthday song.

The staff and Mingyu began to sing for Wonwoo with bright smiles on their faces and eventually, Wonwoo became overwhelmed and tears started to pour from his eyes.

He hid his face in his palms before feeling Mingyu's arms around him. "Happy birthday, beauty."

Wonwoo looked up, once again, seeing everyone's faces. He was so so so grateful. He was also forever indebted to Mingyu, the boy who had given him the best summer break and birthday ever.

Mingyu's hand interlocked with Wonwoo's as the two walked back to the beach house. They'd finished the meal and Wonwoo had cut his cake and shared with all the staff.

It was time for the final item on Mingyu's list. The gift giving. "Okay, one more surprise." Mingyu informed Wonwoo who sighed. "Please no more." He begged, cleaning his eyes.

"Just one more." Mingyu gestured, bringing out 1 finger. Wonwoo chuckled, "Fine." Mingyu did a little victory cheer before they sat down on the couch and Mingyu got his gift out.

He watched as Wonwoo's jaw hung in surprise. "Is that... a PS5?" Wonwoo asked, rubbing his eyes to make sure this moment was real. Mingyu grinned and nodded. "Figured you'd like it, do you?"

Wonwoo nodded instantly and then entrapped Mingyu in a hug. "This is so insane, oh my gosh I literally can't believe you bought it!" Wonwoo rambled and Mingyu chuckled, amused at the beauty's excitement.

"Okay, this isn't good. I have to do something for you, literally anything." Wonwoo let go of Mingyu. "What would you want from me?" Wonwoo questioned and without giving it a second thought, Mingyu replied.

"A kiss."

Wonwoo's facial expression soured and Mingyu knew he had to do damage control. "I didn't mean it, I was just joking, you don't actually have to-"

But then he was cut off. Not by Wonwoo interrupting him but instead by Wonwoo's lips landing on his.

Wonwoo was... kissing him?

Jeon Wonwoo was kissing him?

JEON WONWOO WAS KISSING HIM!
