Melody's POV

"Natalie... Caelynn... Love is everywhere."

Everyone sits in silence and shock. The first two on one of the season... and Caelynn is chosen as one of the girls.

I look over at Caelynn who is not looking as happy as she usually is. She stands up and runs upstairs making me quickly follow her. Running to our room, I see her on her bed sitting holding her legs rocking back and forth. I walk up the steps slowly and then sit beside her.

"Cae..."

"I'm scared Mel."

I say nothing as I look into her teary eyes.

"For the first time in my life since the incident I'm scared. I always tried to see the good in things, just like you do but right now I can't. One of us isn't coming back tonight... I hope it's not me but who knows what Tyler is feeling."

"I totally understand that feeling of not knowing. But use that fear and make yourself stand out against Natalie. It's a two on one meaning you have to fight for attention or be left in the dust. You're beautiful and an all around amazing girl. Show him that."

Caelynn nods and pulls me into embrace. We hug for a minute before she starts to get ready. She wears a yellow sundress and white converse sneakers. I braid her hair so she has a crown braid then she curls the rest letting it fall down her back.

"Gorgeous. Now go have fun!"

She nods then runs out the room.

Ugh it's so hard to watch them grow.

Charlotte, Scarlett, Brynn, Mila, and I sit in Chinatown eating Chinese cuisine which happens to be the most exciting part of our day.

"So would you rather eat a spoonful of mayo or ketchup?"

I grimace looking at Scarlett as we continue our cringe edition of would you rather.

"Neither."

Mila nods, "I agree with Mel. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little just thinking about the spoonfuls."

"I think personally I'd rather do mayo. There's just something not right about the taste of ketchup without French fries." Brynn says with a mouthful of teriyaki chicken.

"You know what else is not right? You talking with a mouthful of Chinese food." Charlotte nudges Brynn making her open her mouth jokingly showing her chewed up food.

"And now I've lost my appetite." Scarlett says pushing away her tray.

"How about this... would you rather be on Bachelor in Paradise or Are you the one? Well that is if you don't win Tyler's heart." Brynn says after swallowing her food.

"Hm I think are you the one... there's fun challenges and more of a chance of finding someone that was matched with you by actually love match makers." I say as I eat some fried rice.

"Same. I'm obsessed with that show." Charlotte nods.

Mila frowns, "I don't know. It seems a little fake to me. Bachelor in paradise is in actual paradise. Sand, sun what more could you wish for?"

"Sun burn." Scarlett teases.

"Oh whatever. I'm done with you guys." Mila crosses her arms over her chest pouting.

Scarlett shakes her head and pushes Mila playfully, "Oh put it away Miss pouty lips. Okay I got one teriyaki sauce on fried rice or yum yum sauce?"

Laying on the couch reading a book while the other girls watch tv we hear the door open. We all look up to see a crew member walk to the set of suitcases left by Natalie and Caelynn.

Silence fills the room as he reaches for one and pulls it out the door. Brynn gasps and holds a hand over her mouth.

"Oh my god."

We all sit in anticipation waiting for the door to open. After finally wishing on nonexistent stars the door swings open and a figure comes bouncing in. Brynn and I run to the figure and tackle her to the ground.

"Ow guys I love you too."

We stand up and let Caelynn catch her breathe. Scarlett pushes through and tackles her once agin to the ground making us all laugh.

"We're so happy you made it back." Eleanor says as she helps them up.

"Yeah we were all worried sitting down here waiting for you guys to get back." Evelyn says with a small smile.

"Tell us all about your date." Charlotte says as she pulls Caelynn to the couch.

We all gather around her and listen as she talks about her, Natalie, and Tyler going sightseeing. Natalie has tried many times to catch his attention but ended up falling short.

"Well ladies I guess that's it for the week. Three of us will go home tomorrow and it won't be Caelynn, Brynn, or Kennedy."

We all nod thinking about what Evelyn just said. That means during the cocktail party beyond will try to fight harder for Tyler's attention. Things could get ugly.

"Wake up!"

I sit up in alarm as a whistle blares throughout the house. Laura's voice yells through a speaker as I try to make sense of what's happening.

"Ladies you have approximately fifteen minutes to get ready. That is all the time I will give. Wear Sunday best! If you're not ready this could really hurt your chances of getting a rose tomorrow so let's put it in gear and get our butts up!"

Groaning, I throw my blankets off then make my way to the bathroom. After doing my business I do a little light make up then curl my hair, leaving it down. I wear cute spiral gold earrings and polka dot heels. My dress is a dark blue slowly strap dress with pockets and pink flowers designs.

I look at myself in the mirror and smile, "Cute."

"All set?"

Turning around I see Caelynn in a blue sundress and brown wedges and Brynn in a orange jumpsuit with brown heels.

"Yep let's go."

After all the girls arrive to the staircase, we do our little staircase scene and then get onto the bus. After a thirty minute drive we stop at a large expensive looking restaurant.

We make our way inside and are led to a large party room where Tyler is standing with Chris.

"Hello ladies."

"Hello Chris!"

"Today we are doing something we have never done before. It's a huge surprise and I think it'll be the best one this season. Tell them what we're doing today."

Tyler smiles then walks over to the back door. He opens it to a beautiful balcony where two older people are standing.

"Today you are meeting my parents."

We all gasp in shock looking at Tyler's parents walk into the room.
