Melody's POV

I leave the tech room with a huge smile on my face. I just spoke to Laura and asked her for a favor which she accepted as soon as she heard it, saying the views would hit the roof for this episode.

I was ecstatic, I had something planned for Tyler before the rose ceremony and to be honest I can't wait.

Hurrying to my room, I look through my dresses and try to figure out what I'm going to wear. Caelynn comes up beside me and tilts her head. She taps her finger on her chin then grins widely. She reaches forward and pulls out a dress holding it up to my figure.

"This is a good one."

I nod with a smile, "Yeah it is thanks Cae."

"You're welcome! Are you excited for tonight? I know you already have a rose but still?"

She walks away and goes to her bed pulling out her makeup.

"Yeah it's the end of week two. We've stuck to it for two weeks now. It's hard and it'll get worse but as long as we try our best to stay positive then we'll be alright. I'm super excited for you guys!! I just know you'll all get a rose. And I bet after this week we'll travel somewhere new!"

Caelynn looks up from her bag with wide eyes and smiles, "Oh my gosh I totally forgot about that!! Yes we need to get out this villa. New environment new vibes."

I nod then grab my stuff and make my way to the bathroom. Caelynn follows and together we get ready for the night. Looking in the mirror I can't help but smile. Coming here and wearing these dresses made me like a star. Not just that but it made me feel beautiful. I struggled with that for a while after losing Liam. I was so hurt and confused as to why I didn't catch any guys eyes. But standing in this soft velvet sparkly blue strap evening dress made me feel irresistible.

"Holy shit I might turn into a lesbian for you Mel."

I turn around to see Brynn walking into the bathroom with a huge grin. I laugh at her and say thanks. Together Brynn, Caelynn, and I make our way downstairs and sit with the other girls waiting for Tyler and Chris. After about ten minutes, they finally show. Tyler gives his toast and Chris makes his way out the villa. Grace manages to steal him first before anyone to everyone dismay.

"Ugh I can't stand that she beast." Caelynn frowns watching Grace and Tyler walk out the door.

"Don't say that. You're being cruel to all animals. They are nothing like Grace." Scarlett smirks while sipping on her champagne.

Laughing I down mine then decide to go drink some coffee. I don't want to be tired tonight. I need my energy and craziness. Charlotte decides to tag along so together we walk to the kitchen and make some coffee. We sit at the island and sip on our drinks quietly.

"So how's it going with you and Tyler? Sorry I haven't seen you as much as I wished so we don't get to talk about it."

Charlotte nods and puts down her mug with a grimace, "I don't know actually. Like I like him but there's something missing. I'm sure he feels it too. I'm kind of scared I don't want to go home. I want him to give us a try but if there's no spark and not the best connection between us then he's not going to waste anyone's time but keeping me here."

Frowning I place my hand on her shoulder and squeeze lightly in reassurance, "Lottie just be yourself. Don't be nervous around him. Ask him questions and tell him about you. You definitely can't make a connection happen but you can darn well try to show him that you care about him."

Charlotte looks at me in appreciation, "Thanks Mel. You really do have a way with words."

I shrug with a smirk, "It's a gift."

Later that night I made sure that every girl had gotten time with Tyler. I was sitting with my friends when I saw Laura poke her head in the front door and wave me over. I nod then tell the girls I was gonna go find Tyler and finally talk to him. Making my way through the front door, I feel butterflies in my stomach thinking about Tyler and I's connection. With each moment that we spend it gets stronger and stronger. It's so fast but being here everyday seems like forever.

Laura smiles and leads me over to my surprise in the front driveway, "Alright my cameraman, Manny, has gone to get Tyler and everything is all set. Have fun."

"Thanks so much Laura this means a lot."

"Sure thing hun."

She disappears and I walk up to the driveway to get a good look at what she had spent time putting together. A cute rustic looking banner was hung from one side of the wood floor platform to the other. It read Mel and Tyler's Carnival. Twinkling lights were scattered here and there. All around were little cute games that I saw on Pinterest. A balloon wall where you throw darts and try to pop as many as you can. Giant Jenga. Cornhole. And twister.

What more could you want?

Suddenly, hearing voices I hurry to one end of the driveway and stand with my hands clutched together in front of me. I try to smile my best smile but end up sheepishly grinning.

"Manny I'm so confused. Where are you taking me?"

Tyler is finally in view and I notice he wears a blindfold. Laughing I think back to what Laura said. Man she wasn't kidding about ratings and views. Manny holds up his camera and nods over to me. Moving in front of Tyler, I put my hands up to take his blindfold off. His hands lightly grab my waist.

"Mel?"

I look at him in confusion then giggle and pull of his blindfold.

"How'd you know it was me?"

"I always get goosebumps around you. See."

He pulls up his sleeve and shows me the goosebumps on his arm. I smile letting him know he's not the only one. He looks around in awe then back at me in shock.

"Mel?! How? When? What?"

Laughing I pull his arm over to the platform, "I got a little help. I wanted you to relax and have some fun. I'm sure it's hard being the bachelor. You have to make tough decisions and sometimes it wears you out. So I decided to have a carnival and be a kid again with you."

Tyler pulls me into a hug and kisses my head, "Melly that's awesome. This is so thoughtful. But are you sure I don't want to embarrass you by beating you at every game."

"Bring it on Cameron."

We play corn hole and like he said he wins. But I'm not embarrassed. I'm not sad or mad or unhappy. I'm over the moon. No other girl has gotten to do this. Not come up with this for him and just allow him to take a break from being the bachelor. His smile showed me how much he really appreciated this and I can't help but fall even more.

"I win!" I laugh as his giant jenga piece makes the whole tower fall.

"Alright that's one and one. Let's dry balloon darts."

Tyler goes and he hits six balloons. I step up and try but totally nail air. The second try is worse. Holding up my arm to go a third time I feel Tyler come up behind me. He wraps his arms around my waist and holds my hand guiding it to a position to throw. He leans down a little so his face is near mine.

"Alright steady and slow. Carefully throw it and let it glide through the air."

I get dizzy from the intensity of heat and closeness and the smell of his minty breath. Focusing on the dart we throw it together and I finally pop one. Squealing in excitement I turn my head towards him and peck his lips.

"Thanks Ty."

He smiles with a glimmer of excitement in his eyes, "You're welcome Melly. Well I won but we do have one more game."

I take off my heels and race to the twister mat. Spinning the board piece it lands on right hand blue. Tyler and I both move our hands easily then he spins. Left leg yellow.

After a few more spins we end up discombobulated somehow... almost like a pretzel. Suddenly, we both loose our balance and fall to the ground. I laugh as I hit the ground. Luckily Tyler senses he was falling and caught himself. However he was hovering over me.

"Well I guess we both lose." Tyler whispers as he leans down.

"Do we really?" I ask ask bite my lip.

3rd Person's POV

Tyler was falling. Melody was beautiful. She was smart, strong, she knew what she wanted. She was everything. It was so early in the season but Tyler knew he wanted her to stay for a while.

Looking down at her as he hovered over her body, he honestly wished the cameras weren't here. He didn't want anyone not even her to think this was just for the show. No he was genuinely and deeply falling.

He bent down, his lips against her cheek, brushing it lightly—and still that the light touch sends shivers through her nerves and down her spine. As his lips get closer to her ear she feels strong shivers that made her whole body tremble.

"If you want me to stop, tell me now," he whispered.

When she had still said nothing, he traced the line of her cheekbone. "Or now."

Finally his lips were against hers but very lightly and almost non existent.

"Or—"

Through with the teasing, Melody had reached up and pulled him down to her, and the rest of his words were lost against her mouth. He kissed her gently and carefully as she knotted her fists in his shirt, pulling him harder against her. He groaned softly, then circled his arms around her, gathering her against him as they laid on the twister mat tangled together. After another minute they finally pull apart.

"I'm pretty sure the cocktail party is over." Melody giggles hiding her head in Tyler's chest.

He laughs and kisses her cheek. Pulling hisself up, he fixes his suit then helps Mel up.

"Alright my lady to the rose ceremony."

He bends down a little in front of her making her tilt her head in confusion.

"What are you doing?"

"Giving you a piggy back ride!"

Melody smiles excited and leaps on his back. He laughs and quickly catches her legs then walks them to the door. She kisses his cheek then jumps down.

"Thank you my noble knight. See you inside."

"Thank you for tonight Melly."

Melody nods and starts to walk inside the villa. She turns around once more and sees Tyler doing their you and me hand sign. Grinning from ear to ear she copies him and disappears into the living room.
