Melody's POV

Turning around, I see Tyler standing just the opposite of me. His hand on the door as he leaves his room.

"Tyler! Oh uh my mom and Nova are here..."

Tyler looks at me in concern, "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah it is now. Nova broke her arm in daycare and I was just really upset. So Laura worked her magic and brought them down here for two days."

Tyler nods then something crosses his eyes. It looks like he figure out something.

"Oh that's why you were out of it at the rose ceremony."

"Yeah sorry about that by the way."

~Flashback~

"Ladies tonight there will be no cocktail party. Tyler said he knows exactly what to do and he would like to get the rose ceremony started immediately."

Everyone looks around at each other in confusion and worry. Well except of course the people with roses and me, because I was worried about Nova. She would be here at any minute and I couldn't wait to hold my baby. I swear those teachers at the daycare better had been watching her not off dilly dallying. If she fell and it was her fault then fine but if she fell after let's say asking for help... oh no they've got a storm coming and she's called Mama Melody.

Shaking my head to return out of my thoughts, I notice everyone starting to gather on the stands. I take my place on the front holding my rose.

I blank out the whole ceremony speeches and everything but I do hear the last bit.

"Ladies there is only one rose left. Whoever does not get a rose will have to say goodbye."

Sadie, Camila, Hanna, and Stella stand without a rose. There is one rose left and three of them will definitely go home tonight. Sadly I know Stella will for sure go home. There wasn't really a connection between her and Tyler even she knew it.

Tyler holds the rose in his hand and looks at the four women.

"Sadie."

I frown mentally saying ew as she takes her rose. Definitely would've been happier with Hanna but at least one of the three musketeers is gone.

The girls leave and everyone gathers around Chris to get a wine glass. There's a small toast and then people scatter to mingle some more before we go back to our new home in San Fran.

Tyler makes his way to me with a concerned face, "Hey Melly you okay? You've been looking a little out of it all night."

I nod slowly, "Yeah I have to go though."

I see Tyler frown in confusion as I pass by him and make my way to Laura.

~Flashback over~

"That's okay. As long as everything is going alright with you and your family."

"Yep it's great. So what were you just about to do."

"Well I was just heading down to the store to find a midnight snack."

"Oh how fun. Well if you like... if you want to... I have popcorn and candy. Perks of having a three year old who can ask for literally anything now and get it by using her injury. But I mean if you don't want to it's fine. I mean it's only week three and who knows even if you would want to meet family. Especially my daughter. I mean it's a big step but you totally don-"

I'm cut off by lips on mine. Just as I start to kiss back Tyler moves away with a smile.

"It's fine Melly. I would love to meet Nova."

"You would? Oh good!"

I peck his cheek as he chuckles to himself. Opening the door, I see Nova still in the same spot. I walk over to her with Tyler in tow.

"Hey Nova honey. I want you to meet someone."

Nova turns to see Tyler standing behind me then smiles really wide.

"Hi Nova I've heard so much about you."

Tyler bends down to her level and holds out his hand. Nova smiles and jumps into his arms. He catches her but is surprised by the sudden hug.

"Are you going to be my new daddy?"

"Nova!" I look at her in utter shock.

Tyler just laughs as I have a mental fit.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry."

"It's okay Melly." He waves me off then looks at Nova with a wide grin, "I'm not sure about the daddy thing yet but I do know that I will be your friend. I'll be there whenever you need me to be."

Nova nods and hugs him again.

Aw so sweet. He's good with kids.

Later that night Tyler and Nova make her chocolate. It was super cute seeing Tyler's giant figure trying to stir a mug with Nov's tiny figure. He finally picked her up and together they tried their creation, which led to both of them having hit chocolate mustaches. Which I got a picture of, thank you mom, on the cell phone in the living room.

Nova sits in my lap asleep as I cuddle up to Tyler. I'm half way asleep but I try to stay awake. This is the most time I will ever get with him alone, away from all the other girls. I'm so happy to be able to do this but I'm also so sleepy.

I start to doze off then feel Tyler move from beside me. I open my eyes as he leans down a little and tells me to go to bed. I make a gesture towards Nova and he picks her up carrying her to the other room. Within seconds, he's back and to my surprise without any problems he picks me up bridal style.

"Tyler what the heck put me down." I try to fight against him but I'm so sleepy and being carried feels nice.

He lays me down and takes off my shoes then covers Nova and I before kissing my head.

"Night Melly."

He starts to walk away but I call his name. He turns around and I make our hand gesture. He copies with a smile then says go to sleep before he disappears out the room. I hear the front door close and I turn to look at Nova.

Tyler had been so caring and supportive and just all around amazing with her. If I said I didn't fall a little bit more tonight then I would be lying.
