JOYCE BYERS: "Your brother came home last night, right?"
(She asks in the silence of the Byers household)

JONATHAN BYERS: "He's not in his room?"
(He mutters in confusion, Will had told them he was going to bike home)

JOYCE BYERS: "Did he come home or not?" (She sighs deeply)

JONATHAN BYERS: "I don't know. "
(He muttered, seemingly lost. Now they're getting worried)

JOYCE BYERS: "You don't know? "
(She's horrified, they had all forgotten about Will until now)

JONATHAN BYERS: He shakes his head
"No. I got home late. I was working."

JOYCE BYERS: "You were working?"
(The mother sighs, worriedly looking at her daughter for an answer now. She knows how responsible Bianca is when it comes to Will)

JOYCE BYERS: "Bianca, honey. Weren't you supposed to pick him up today?"
(Her mother's voice is soft, urging her to tell her the truth)

BIANCA BYERS: "I was studying for my finals, he promised he'd be okay—"

(She winces, lying through her teeth. She's clearly mortified at the thought of her little brother not getting home just because her car broke down and she couldn't bear to tell her mother.)

(She already knew how bad their money problems were. She couldn't make it any worse.)

(How could her not picking him up this one time lead to him not getting home at all?)

(He promised her he would be okay.)

BIANCA BYERS: "He promised he'd be okay if I didn't pick him up just this once—"
(Her heart stops and her eyes go wide in fear)

JOYCE BYERS: "Oh god— I can't believe you. I can't believe you two. Oh my god. Jonathan, you can't take shifts when I'm working."

JOYCE BYERS: "And Bianca, you should know better! He's a kid he can't get home alone— You're the one who usually picks him up!"

(She anxiously paces around the room running to their home phone to call the Wheelers)

BIANCA BYERS: "I know mom. I'm sorry."

(She mutters, staring down at the floor ashamed of herself. She should have picked him up.)

(Somehow, she's never felt more guilty in her life, little did she know how worse it was going to get)

BIANCA BYERS WAS GUILTY. GUILTY.

On a fateful day of November 6th, 1985. Bianca Byers' car broke down, in guilt she called her little brother from the Wheeler household to tell him she couldn't pick him up that day. Will, sweet and understanding as he always was reassured her that he would bike home before it got too late. Against her better judgement, she trusted him. She felt the never ending judgement of guilt haunting her that day.

She didn't know that she would live with that guilt forever. Guilty, she lied to her mother and told her she had to study for a test. To not get her worried even more about how they'd ever afford to fix her car. She didn't want her to worry. Now all because of her, her little brother had gone missing. She's never felt more alone.

She can feel the constant guilt in her heart, even after they safely brought him home. She knows she'll have to live with the guilt of being the reason why her brother had trauma for the rest of her life. She was supposed to protect him, she was supposed to watch over him. Oh god. The guilt continues until it constricts her throat and she can't breathe anymore. The vines make their way through her heart, keeping the guilt buried beneath in there under everything else.

She hated being seen as weak. She saw everyone give her those looks of pity. She was the girl who was the reason why her little brother went missing. All because she stupidly got her car wrecked, unable to be of use. Just like her. Dr. Owens had diagnosed her with survivors guilt, all because she had survived not knowing if Will was alive or not.

Now she has to live with fact that her brother's trauma, is all thanks to her. All because she couldn't get her stupid fucking car running.

In school, Bianca Byers is completely and utterly invisible to everyone around her. Her ex-best friend being the girlfriend to the most popular guy in school was hard enough. Nancy wanted nothing to do with her after highschool started, ditching her for Barb and forgetting Bianca had even existed.

There are only two people in the entire school who know her name. One of them is the Chief Hopper's son, Rowan and one of her best friends since forever. The other is her best friend in the entire world, Parker Winston. Who had been best friends with Steve Harrington up until he up and left him for popularity. Bianca could relate, now being entirely invisible in Nancy's eyes who seemed to be dealing with a lot more than she let on.

Bianca's faced with supporting Nancy in her relationship with Steve now that he isn't such a terrible boyfriend. But she hardly believes that after what Steve did to her brother's camera. But all that Bianca Byers knows is that no matter what, no matter how invisible Steve Harrington makes her feel. She will always, always hate his guts.

And that was the truth, until it wasn't.

Hi! I'm actually so excited to write this. The grind on working on fics has stopped because I'm trying to balance school and applying to scholarships and deciding what I want to do in the future. So updates might take a while, I just hope people don't loose interest because I really want to write this fic!

This is a rewrite off my old steve fic, (if you know you know) but I'm excited to unveil Bianca 2.0 who I now made a Byers! Woo.
