       BELLE WU had always been the kind of person who radiated kindness. Known for her sweet demeanor, she never failed to offer a warm smile, even to those who didn't deserve it. She was the one people went to for advice, comfort, or simply a reminder that good still existed in the world. But being the sweetest girl in the Valley wasn't always easy, especially when your heart was broken.

Belle had joined Miyagi-Do alongside her best friend Demetri. Both of them had watched helplessly as their closest friends, Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz and Miguel Diaz, changed before their eyes. Hawk, once the awkward but lovable Eli, had transformed into someone almost unrecognizable—driven by anger, ego, and Cobra Kai's toxic teachings. Miguel, on the other hand, wasn't mean, but he had grown distant. He had found himself swept up in a whirlwind romance with Sam LaRusso, and though Belle had tried to support him, it hurt more than she could ever admit.

Belle had been in love with Miguel for as long as she could remember. He was everything she admired—kind, brave, and always looking out for others. But her love for him had always been one-sided. Miguel only had eyes for Sam, the strong and confident karate student who seemed to have it all. Even so, Belle refused to let jealousy take hold. She'd befriended Sam and found herself liking the girl who unknowingly held Miguel's heart. It was the kind of heartbreak Belle endured quietly, masking her pain behind an unwavering smile.

When Miguel left for Mexico to find his father, everything shifted. His breakup with Sam had been messy and final, leaving both of them scarred. While Sam pulled away from everyone, Miguel sought refuge in the one thing he could always count on—karate. When he returned from Mexico, things weren't the same. He and Belle had started to reconnect, and for the first time in what felt like forever, Belle felt like she had her best friend back.

The dojo became Belle's sanctuary. Training under Daniel LaRusso and learning the ways of Miyagi-Do gave her a sense of peace and purpose. Demetri was her rock, the one person who truly understood her struggles, and the two of them became an inseparable duo. Together, they made it their mission to bring balance to their friends—to remind Miguel of the kind-hearted person he'd always been and to show Hawk that there was a way back from the darkness Cobra Kai had instilled in him.

As the days turned into weeks, Belle began to feel hope. The Miyagi-Do students were stronger than ever, and they were ready to take down Cobra Kai once and for all. With Miguel and Sam officially over, things between Belle and Miguel became... easier. They talked late into the night after practice, sharing laughs and stories like they used to. For the first time, Belle felt like she could breathe around him without the weight of unspoken feelings crushing her. She told herself that being his friend was enough.

But deep down, a part of her wondered—was there a chance for more? Could Miguel ever see her the way she saw him? Or was she destined to always be the sweet girl in the background, cheering him on while he fell for someone else?

As the battle against Cobra Kai loomed closer, Belle pushed those thoughts aside. There were bigger things at stake, and her loyalty to her friends outweighed her own desires. They had to win, not just for themselves, but for every student who had been hurt by Cobra Kai's teachings. Belle didn't know where her story with Miguel would lead, but for now, she was content to stand by his side, ready to face whatever came next.
