"What do you mean by that?," I sheepishly smiled at Taehyun who has been staring at me the entire time.

Does this man not blink?

"You spend so much time with them on a regular basis. Did anything seem off to you?,"Taehyun explained his question calmly.

I thought I almost got exposed

"No, I didn't" I responded shortly.

"He just comes back with a new toy and some sort of treat everyday. It's like those intruders are running a daycare center and we are sending our son, Kai there everyday," snorted Beomgyu at the absurdity of the situation.

"Hey! That's not true! I mean it kinda is but I AM NOT A CHILD!" I protested hearing Beomgyu's words.

"The Crowned Prince apparently saw him stuffing his mouth with fruit tarts the other day before coming here and when asked why was he risking a choking situation, he said that he would rather die than share it with us," Taehyun exposed me, making my eyes widen in horror.

How could Prince Soobin do this to me!

I'll spike his tea instead of the girls' one from now on

"How dare you not bring me any! Is that what I pay you for?!"screamed Beomgyu.

"But you don't pay me, Sir" I stated the obvious, shutting his mouth.

"I am your boss. How could you not share your food with me?!"

"So you want to get rid of them and eat the food they make at the same time?," I looked at him in disbelief.

"He is kinda right, you know. What if they are poisoning your food instead?," Taehyun pointed out, giving me a discreet wink.

"They won't do that......would they?," mumbled Beomgyu in a meek tone, thinking about all the time he stole Kai's food along with the others.

"You can poison them but they can't poison you?," Taehyun raised an eyebrow at Beomgyu's statement.

"Their poison isn't effective enough," denied Beomgyu.

"Like your one?," grinned Taehyun cockily, making me cover my mouth in shock and Beomgyu fume with anger.

"You did not just-" I looked at Taehyun then at Beomgyu repetitively, then took Taehyun's arm and pulled him out of Beomgyu's lab before he could pour something on us, shutting the door so that he can't throw something at us midway.

"KANG TAEHYUN!" He shrieked, his voice echoing in the hallway.

"I'll show you EFFECTIVENESS one day! Mark my words!" Beomgyu exclaimed.

"What a lunatic," commented Prince Soobin who was passing by.

"I am going to go on my painting adventures. Do you want to come with me today?,"Alvira asked stepping out of the guesthouse with her painting materials as usual.

"Sure. What about Aeris though? Isn't she going to go with us?," I looked for the brown haired girl to see of she was around.

"Kazuha sent her to take a nap again," sighed Alvira.

"It's the third time this week.Is 'napping' a code word for grounded?," I teased, making Alvira hit me with her bag.

"It is not," She emphasized each word with a smack.

"What do you guys even do for her to send you guys to take naps this much?," I playfully narrowed my eyes at her in suspicion.

I am actually interested to know

"She thinks we need rest," sighed Alvira as she thought back on Kazuha's words.

"Taehyun, you are here!" I greeted Taehyun loudly from a distance as we walked towards the spot Alvira decided to paint at today.

"Hey Guys!" Taehyun waved cheerfully, walking towards us.

"We don't spend as much time as we used to" His words rang inside my head from yesterday after we escaped from Beomgyu together.

Of course, I want to spend a lot of time with him. He is my best friend but I had also promised Alvira to have a painting competition with her as she complained that I only bake with Aeris.

So I decided to spend time with both of the babies. I looked towards Alvira who suddenly froze after seeing Taehyun.

"Oh hey,you are here too...." Alvira shyly waved at Taehyun while cussing at me with her eyes at the same time.
