detailed appearance | Nolan is a young boy with dark, russet colored hair. Most of the time it's covered with some type of hat or beanie but on the few occasions it's not, it's very wavy and soft looking. His eyes are very muted lilac-blue color, often mistaken for gray. He doesn't like to wear flashy clothes so it's not uncommon to see him in baggy pants and a hoodie of some type. Also, despite being a college student he doesn't carry around a backpack. Typically he uses his phone to take notes or he just tries to memorize as best he can. He likes being a man with very little to burden him.

Granny Marie // the owner of Mar's Bakery // she's basically the grandmother he's never had. He loves her to death even though they're only suppose to have a boss-employee connection. She's the only one willing to take a chance on him when he was looking for a job and he's forever grateful.

detailed personality | Nolan is an extremely hard guy to like. Every school has its bad boys, it's delinquents, the lowlife, etc, but rarely do they ever really have a boy who absolutely hates people in general. He's never been the type to pretend that he's interested in you or anything you have to say. In fact, he's not afraid to tell you so himself... usually with a few colorful words thrown in as well. People don't really know why he's so against socialization, but the way he acts towards the few who try to befriend him has really locked in the way people think of him. Honestly, he knows the reason why he hates people so much is stupid and maybe even a little unreasonable but there's no point in changing at this point anyways... right? The very few he does manage to tolerate, is almost always shocked by his true nature. Sure, he still has no social skill and lacks any soft bone in his body, but it's quite apparent that he's much more gentle with the ones who matter to him.

HISTORY ;;
Nolan wasnt always the grouchy guy who hates everyone. At one point in his life, he was actually quite popular and liked. He came from a respectable loving family who were nice to their neighbors and hard working people. He had plenty of friends and people who wanted to be his friend as well, but that all changed when he was caught in the middle of a horrible prank. To this day, no one really knows what happened, but the rumors that go around say that Nolan was the leader of a prank gone wrong that resulted in someone getting fatally hurt. Many claim that he ended killing someone because of it and that people told him it was a bad prank to do in the first place. In reality, Nolan had nothing to do with it and was actually the one who found the girl that got hurt. When he showed up in front of a group of adults covered in blood and with an unconscious girl, they assumed the worse out of the then ten year old. That was the start of his hatred for liars and the distrust in people who claimed to have his back.

MISCELLANEOUS ;;
- Granny Marie calls him Brûlée as a nickname. She gives everyone one and when he finally asked why Brûlée was his, she said that on the outside, he very touch and hard to break through, but once you do, you find that he's sweet and soft. It was the first time he meant it when he said he would quit if she told anyone else that.
- He lives in a dorm room with two others. One he hates and the other could be considered his best friend.
- He dreams of owning his own bakery someday
- No one knows that he's a part-time baker mainly because Mar's Bakery is a small hole in the wall establishment. In the big city he's in, most people tend to frequent more popular places. Granny Marie says that since he's been working there though, a lot more young people have been coming by.

Bellington Academy is renowned to be the top college in the entire country, and as such, it is usually a school inhabited by the children of the rich and famous. Adult children who want for nothing and need for naught thanks to the credit cards of their parents. So imagine your surprise when you somehow find yourself in a small hole-in-the-wall bakery and see a familiar classmate at the register.

Honestly, you might never have noticed any other student if they were working here but the distinct image of this russet haired boy getting into a fist fight with a perverted professor makes him a little unforgettable. I mean, the whole school is still talking about it after all. That being said, if you're enrolled at an academy for the rich and famous, then why would you need to work at a shabby little bakery?
