     I waited until morning getting no sleep. Reggie still hadn't returned and it had started eating me alive. I had stayed wrapped around in the blanket since he had walked out the door in the early hours.

     Finally, after what felt like a century, the doorknob turned, and in crept a very disheveled Reggie.

     I jumped off the bed running to him, "REGGIE!"

     "Oomph," he mumbled as we both came crashing onto the floor.

     "I missed you," I mumbled.

     "Can't say the same," he joked with a smirk.

     I punched his shoulder, "You better have missed me, or else I'll pack up and leave."

     His eyes widened, "I missed you more!"

     I gave a victorious smile, "That's what I thought."

     "Did you even sleep," Reggie asked concerned pulling me up from the ground so we were both standing.

     "Um maybe," I said in a more questioning tone.

     "Go to sleep, I'll pull a few stings to excuse you from your classes," Reggie said walking me to the bed.

     I crossed my arms annoyed, "I'm not a baby, now tell me what happened at the meeting."

     "Will you sleep if I do," Reggie asked.

     "Maybe," I said with a sweet smile.

     He raised an eyebrow, "Are you lying?"

"Only one way to find out," I said shrugging my shoulders nonchalantly.

He rolled his eyes not believing me, "He wants to take my house elf somewhere. He wouldn't give much information but I agreed."

"Kreacher," I asked.

"Mhm," he said nodding.

"What?! No! You mean the sweet little thing that would always give me sweets," I asked gasping.

"Yes," Reggie said.

I shook my head, "Why would you say yes?"

"Can you really say no to him," he asked back.

     "You have a point," I answered.

     "But don't worry, I think I can find out what is going on," Reggie said in a hopeful voice.

     "I really hope it works," I said sighing.

     "I'm Regulus Black, of course it will," he said sticking out his chest.

     I rolled my eyes, "Careful there, you're sounding a bit like your brother."

     He made a grumpy face at that.

     I giggled, "I'm sorry."

     "You're not," Reggie said in fake anger.

     "You're right," I agreed.

     "Rude," he said hiding his smile.

"Come, let's nap, I wanna sleep in your arms," I said holding my arms open for him to come to them.

He gave a smile and pulled me to him, "I'm so lucky to have you in my life."

     I smiled not saying anything.

I woke up a little while before Reggie had. I still had no idea what had shaken him so badly but it was best I didn't ask. I quickly got dressed and walked into the Great Hall for dinner. Yes, we had slept all day.

"There you are," Meda yelled pulling me into a hug.

"Where were you all day," Alec asked her mouth stuffed with food.

I made a disgusted face at that, "Reggie and I had—well he was just in one of those moods and we fell asleep in the process of getting him out of it."

"Seems...interesting," Bella asked herself in a questioning tone.

"Very," I agreed.

"Well anyways, we were just talking about going pumpkin picking," Cissy said changing the topic.

"Pumpkin picking," I asked laughing.

"Well Halloween is in a few weeks and the next Hogsmeade weekend is this weekend so why not get into the fun," Meda said beaming excitedly.

Could you tell that her favorite holiday was Halloween?

"SYLVIEEEEE," Evan yelled at the top of his lungs with his hands cupped in a circle around his mouth.

I raised an eyebrow, "Yes Evy?"

"I was just wondering where Reggie was," Evy said with a cheeky smile.

"Was the screaming really needed," Bella asked pinching her nose.

"Honestly," Alec agreed with an annoyed expression.

I rolled my eyes, "He's sleeping."

He wiggled his eyebrows, "What's he tired from?"

"EVAN ROSIER," I yelled smacking his shoulder.

Barty burst out laughing, "Well deserved."

Evan rolled his eyes and pouted walking away.

"I think I'm more mature than them," Cissy said laughing.

Meda nodded, "Definitely."

"Back to pumpkin picking," Alec said gaining our attention once more, "We should go this weekend."

"I've got to finish some work this weekend so I won't be coming," Bella said excusing herself.

"And I'm going to hang out with my friends but we might come join in on the fun," Cissy said, being a year younger, she had her own circle of friends.

"You three have fun thought," Bella said pointing at Alec, Meda, and I.

"Oh we will," Meda exclaimed happily.

This woman and Halloween.

I went back into our dorm to find Reggie sprawled out on the couch intensely reading a book with parchment and spilled ink on the desk.

I sighed and asked, "Reggie?"

He looked up surprised, "You're already back?"

"I've been gone for 2 hours," I said going to change in the bathroom.

"Leave the door open," Reggie yelled.

I glared and threw toothpaste at him, "You freak!"

He gave me a cheeky smile and cleaned up the mess he made on the couch.

I walked out of the bathroom to find the couch area clean, "What were you working on?"

"Nothing, just some homework," he responded curtly.

I gave him a look, "What was it actually?"

He sighed, "It's just something I can't talk about. Just don't ask about it, please. I don't want to have to lie to you."

"Okay, I understand," I said hugging him.

"Thank you Syl, I really didn't want to argue and then get mad at you," Reggie mumbled in my hair.

"Yeah I know," I whispered.

"You have no idea how thankful I am for that," Reggie said walking us to the bed.

"You better tell me what it all is on your own time though. I would hate for it to be something really bad and be told at the last minute," I said sternly.

"I promise," Reggie said holding out his pinky.

My lips curved into a smile as I hooked my pinky around his. We hadn't made a pinky promise since we were kids. It felt comforting to do it again because we both know that we can't break a pinky swear.

ahhhh finally updated. i have no idea how long its acc been but ive been wanting to update for a while. it's a bit short since i have no idea what to write but we will get to it.
