Watching everyone you've every cared for, perish right before your eyes. Watching everyone you've ever longed for, just disappear.

The feeling of the crimson colored substance seeps through clothes, and onto hands. It staying with you, haunting you. It not even being your own blood, more so the blood of creatures that roam the earth that was once ours. And sometimes, it's even the blood of your loved ones.

Most teenagers wouldn't survive in an apocalyptic situation, but that wasn't the case for Ivy Castillo. Most teenagers would give there life up so they wouldn't have to go through the horrors. Ivy has thought of taking her own life, but she never brought herself too it.

After losing her sister, she felt there was no place for her on this planet. Like she was just there, just to suffer. But she always had a gut feeling that something was out there for her.

And there was.

OH MY GOD!!! I'm finally writing a TWD story!! Literally I've been watching The Walking dead for the past 7 years and I still haven't written a book.... weird I know. But I have an emotional attachment to Carl and he's the love of my life. Like I'd pick him over any man in the world. So I kind of based Ivy off of myself, because why not. Obviously my whole family didn't die in a zombie apocalypse, but some of the shit she is gonna go through, I went through. And I mean i'm a total badass and so is Ivy so it all makes sense.
