personality-
mai is very nice but timid. she'll be quieter when you first start talking but gradually as you become closer she'll get more comfortable with you. once she's comfortable with you she's really pleasant and animated. she likes to make jokes, and she's very smart. the type to put others' needs before hers and never really show weakness. even to close friends she has difficulty opening up about weaknesses and can feel very dark sometimes , knowing that the curse won't just tire her out forever and that it will eventually affect her. but it otherwise a very positive and nice person especially when she's feeling good! (doesn't know how to ask for help)

backstory-
her father was born + raised in vietnam , however her mother is from the uk. her parents met when her father was transferred to the ministry of magic from china. she was born in the uk however she was also born with a blood curse of which she inherited from her father's side. he doesn't have the curse because it skips generations however she did catch it. it hasn't affected her much yet, it just drains a lot of her energy. mai also speaks some vietnamese! she's friends with mainly lily evans and remus lupin! she thinks james and sirius are dumb gits, and also likes to talk with marlene mckinnon!
