HER HEAD SNAPPED UP as the ground shook, rattling the papers that hung on the wall and panic crossed her eyes as she turned towards Dick. "What the hell was that?" Without thinking all three of them ran outside, Daphne's blue orbs landing on the smoke that rose in the distance. "That's the convent isn't it?" She asked almost breathless already knowing the answer in her bones.

Did the others had heard the scream that she had?

"Rachel," Dick whispered worry shining in his features. "We need to go," he told them with a stern voice as he hurried towards his car. The redhead glanced at the dark female with hesitation as she laid a hand on her shoulder. "Let's go," the magenta haired woman spoke before pulling her towards the car.

Daphne hadn't even got the time to fasten her seatbelt as Dick razed with full speed down the road. "My name is Kory, by the way," the female piped up from behind and Daphne turned towards her. "You remember?" Was the only question leaving her mouth. "Not really, but it stood on one of the cassettes so I just guessed," Kory told her and the redhead just left it at that.

The convent was filled with firefighters, police, and ambulances already as they arrived. Carefully Daphne stepped out of the car as she took in the damage that was done on the building. Dick brushed her hand just slightly, signaling her to follow them, ignoring the sudden tingling feeling it gave her. A police officer let them pass after Grayson showed his badge and Daphne halted in front of what was left of the convent. "She must have lost control," Dick mumbled and the redhead caught his gaze. "Maybe she is still here."

Kory had noticed Sister Catherine getting patched up from the paramedic, signaling the others to talk to her.

"Hey, where is Rachel? Is she okay?"

Sister Catherine's eyes wandered towards the ground as she shook her head. "She left. Ran," she told them and Daphne could see the fear that shone in her eyes. Like she knew what was inside Rachel. "What happened?" Kory asked her softly, taking the hand of the sister encouraging her to tell them more. "We just wanted to keep her here. Keep her safe that's all," she told them and Daphne felt even a little sorry. "Where no one could hurt her and she couldn't hurt anyone."

Suddenly Sister Catherine stood up, clutching the hand of Kory even tighter. "There's no stopping it now," the nun told them and confused Daphne took a step forward. "Stopping what?"

The paramedic came back, mumbling something under his breath as he helped the nun to get inside the vehicle. "Oh god," Sister Catherine spoke. "God, forgive me." Dick turned around and walked towards his car, Daphne and Kory following him. "Why did you leave her here?"

Grayson halted in his steps before he faced her again. Annoyance was written over his features and Daphne just bit her lip not wanting to be part of this discussion at all. "In a convent full of nuns? Yeah, seemed dangerous," he barked at Kory. "And you know, you're the one who stole my car and drove off."

A scoff left Kory's mouth. "Yeah, I thought you could handle her for a few minutes, but I should have known better considering you ditched her in DC."

"I didn't mean to ditch her, okay? I was trying to-,"

"You just couldn't handle her, so you left her with your friends. It's pathetic," Kory hissed not even trying to hide the anger that could be spotted in her features. "Guys, do we have to discuss this now?" Daphne asked them giving both a warning glance. A sigh left Dick's mouth. "Daphne is right, we can argue about that when we find her okay?"

They started walking towards his Porsche again and the redhead left a breath of relief to leave her lips. Those two were hit heads and they gave her a headache already. "She's getting more powerful," Kory stated carefully.

"Yeah, but she's still a kid. Alone and scared and on the run."

"She must be scared out of her mind," Dick murmured under his breath again and Daphne could feel the guilt that was floating in his veins. Grayson had the idea to drive to the police station, hoping that maybe someone had seen Rachel. How hard could it be? She had lilac hair after all. The redhead and Kory simultaneously reached for the car handle as a few whoa's left Dick's lips. "You're not coming," his sentence was more directed towards Kory than to the redhead and he turned in his seat to look at the magenta haired female. "What? Why?"

Grayson just gave her a look. "You're not exactly the definition of blending in."

Kory's gaze flickered towards her clothing before she looked at him again. "I've blended in just fine," she hissed at him. "I've got the badge. I can find out if anyone's seen Rachel faster without you two. Not to mention, you're wanted by the police." Daphne just shrugged her shoulders. "Fine by me," she mumbled and Dick gave an almost grateful look.

Angry, Kory crossed her arms over her chest, not enlightend in the slightest that she had to stay in the car as Dick got out of the Porsche, slamming the door closed behind him.

"He's annoying," Kory said and a humming sound left Daphne's mouth. "He tries his best."

The redhead couldn't help it as her mind started to drift off, the words from Kory still haunted her like a shadow. That drawing has felt like an old memory and Daphne was to one hundred percent sure she was going insane. "Are you alright Daphne?" The question made her turn her head to the back were the magenta haired woman sat. "You look a little pale since we were in the garage," Kory added and the redhead truly debated if she should tell her.

Yet, a little voice inside her head told her not to. Maybe it was the fact that she didn't know who Kory was, and even Dick Grayson seemed to be a man with more than one secret. Daphne didn't know the real Kory or the real Dick at all.

"Just tired," the redhead answered softly, hoping that the dark female would leave it at that.

Daphne noticed how Grayson walked out of the police station, quickly making his way towards his Porsche and immediately both women sat up straighter, curious if he found a lead. "And? Any luck?" Kory asked as she leaned a little forward while the car roared to life. "Some hunters met a green tiger in the woods," he began and Daphne wrinkled her nose. "A green tiger? Sounds a bit fishy to me," she mumbled and Kory agreed. "Well, the thing is they reported that the tiger wasn't alone. A girl with purple hair was with him," Dick added and Daphne got only more confused. "That doesn't make any sense."

Dick's gaze met Daphne's. "That's why we are gonna visit the hunter who saw them."
