(Y/N) (L/N) was an incredibly shy girl. No she wasn't like this from the beginning. She was friends with the former beyclub and was especially close to a certain albino head. She was his best friend after Valt and she may or may not have a crush on him...She didn't have a crush on him, she loved him.

But when he turned into Red Eye, he left her heart shattered into a million pieces.

Flashback:-

"You're nothing but a weakling. Such a pathetic person like you doesn't even deserve to be a blader." 'Red Eye' said walking away after breaking (Y/N)'s bey into pieces.

Valt and the others ran up to her with horrified looks on their faces.

"(Y-Y/N), y-your bey...." Valt said looking down.

"I-its ok I guess. It'll get fixed." (Y/N) said trying to hold her tears back.

End of flashback

After everything went back to normal, everyone was so busy in celebrations of Valt becoming the champion and Shu coming back that they almost forgot about her.

When she saw how happy they were, even without her, she thought that leaving them would be the best. And so, she left.

But what she didn't know was, after she left, Valt was the one who pointed out that she was missing and everyone went crazy for finding her. But it was too late, she left without a trace. But they never stopped looking, though it did slow down over the years.

Now she still is a member of Raging Bulls, but she never spoke a word to anyone. She trains all alone and wins every tournament she's asked to participate in.

But she's happy with being ignored and left out. But the trauma, of Red Eye never left her and she is still scared of Shu, she never lets herself be anywhere near in his sight.

Shu being the incredibly busy owner, never actually noticed that the person he had been looking for, for years was right by his side all this time.

Until one day...

After Lain Vallhala found his true flare he has been nicer to everyone and Shu is happy about it.

"Hey Shu, the two of us mostly train by ourselves usually so why not battle any other member of the team today, for a change?" Lain asked looking over at his mentor. Shu nodded in response.

"Hmm...I guess you are right. Let's battle the other best team member who wins the local and district tournaments." And he sent another trainer to bring them the blader who is strong enough to face them.

And it was none other than (Y/N).
She was reluctant at first but realised she really can't deny it. So she quietly walked up where Shu and Lain were.

Shu's P.O.V.

I saw a girl walking up to us. My eyes widened as I immediately recognised her. It was (Y/N)! I can't believe it. We had been looking for her all this time and she was in my team...! How dumb can I get, seriously.

"So you will be the one who will face us, huh? Let's see what you've got..." Lain said looking at her with confidence.

"Yeah, sure." She replied in a rather quite voice. Is it just me or has her voice really grown quite?

"Ok then, I'll be the ref."
I said and gave her a smile. Instead of smiling back, she looked at me and shivered. I was frowning on the inside.

Both (Y/N) and Lain got on their sides of the stadium and got to their launching stances.

"Ready, set!"

"3"

"2"

"1"

"LET IT RIP!!!"

I couldn't believe my eyes! (Y/N)'s bey (B/N) burst Lucius within a few minutes. She really has grown stronger over the years. It really makes me want to battle her too.

"(B/N) wins with a burst finish! (Y/N) is the winner with a score of 2-0!" I announced.
Lain panted but went up to her and shook her hand and said,

"Congrats, you're a pretty strong blader. But next time, I won't let you win." He smiled.

"T-thanks." She said timidly and slowly pulled her hand away.

"You aren't happy that you won?" Lain asked.

"I-i am." She replied her voice even more quieter than before.

"Hey (Y/N), it's nice to see you after so long. How about I have a battle with you now?"

I smiled and tried to get a glance from her. But what she did next, left both Lain and me shocked with wide eyes.

"N-no thanks. I-i have t-to go." And she sprinted off. I raised my hand to stop her but she had already left.

She really is still scared of me. I frowned. Lain noticed me frown and asked,

"Hey Shu, why are you frowning?"

"It's nothing. Let's call it a day."
I said before walking off and then trying to find her.

I searched for her for hours but still wasn't able to find her. I asked many people too but no one seemed to know about her whereabouts. I contacted Valt and told him to tell the others too.

He was literally yelling over the phone out of happiness, but when I said she's still scared of me he started to comfort me and told me to not give up.

Valt is right. She never gave up on me even when I lost to Lui, so I won't give up on her too.

It was almost night. She probably might have returned to her room by now. I should go and check there. I was almost at her room door when I saw her coming from the opposite direction. She saw me and immediately turned to her heels and started running.

Without thinking, I chased after her.

"(Y/N) please wait. Please stop!" I said in a loud tone but she didn't listen.
She ran up some stairs which led to the rooftop.

"(Y/N)!"

Finally catching up to her, I caught her wrist and pulled her back, pushing her back towards a wall. We were standing on the stairs and no one was in sight since everyone was likely to be having dinner.

"(Y/N), please let me explain." I said catching my breath and looking up at her face...she was.....crying?!

She had her eyes shut tight but still tears were running down her cheeks. I could feel her shaking body. She was trembling like I was going to kill her.

"(Y/N)-"

"Leave me be."

She said between sobs, her voice cracking. My heart ached seeing her like this.

She started to struggle to get out of my grip but I didn't let her. I didn't want to.

"(Y/N), listen to me please!" I almost yelled as she froze. I quickly realised what I did and hugged her to try to calm her.

But then I started to feel weight leaning on me. "(Y/N)?" I called out softly and pulled away a little from the hug.

She collapsed on me. But I managed to keep my balance and hold her. I tried to wake her up but she had passed out. I think it would be the best if I take her to my room and let her lie down.

So, I picked her up bridal style and walked towards my room.

I laid her down and carefully brushed some hair strands off her face. Why did she pass out? She doesn't look sick or pale to me. Wait...she isn't just scared of me.....that memory...of me breaking her Bey........it has... traumatized her....

I'm feeling so ashamed of myself. I want to make it up to her. It hurts to see her like this.

But at the same time, I want to tell her that I love her but I don't think she'll ever love me back because of what I did in the past.
I sat beside her and gently stroked her forehead. Then she started to fiddle in her sleep. I pulled my hand back and she went still again. This made me smile.

I went to bring her some food and drinks in case she would be hungry when she wakes up.

Timeskip to an hour later.
Reader's P.O.V.

Uhh...I woke up somewhere warm and soft. I opened my eyes and found myself in a very unfamiliar place. W-where am I? Looking around and at the counter beside the bed...I saw...Spryzen?

Wait...if Spryzen is here then that means this room is.... Shu's?! I-i need to get out of here. I quickly got out of the bed and headed for the door but I guess it was a bad idea. I ran into...Shu...

"(Y-Y/N)." "S-Shu." We both said at the same time. He was holding a tray with food and water.

"S-Shu i-i need to g-go to my r-room." I said and quickly walked past him. I felt being pulled back in the room.

Looking back, I saw Shu looking at me with pleading eyes. I couldn't deny it.

"Please at least stay for a while, before you go." He was almost begging me to.

No one's P.O.V.

Shu knew she wouldn't be able to resist his looks so he used them in the cutest way he could and it worked.

"F-fine. But p-please make it quick."

(Y/N) said before following him towards the bed.
Shu sat down and motioned her to do the same. (Y/N) hesitated so Shu used his cute eyes again.

'Damn it! Shu why are you doing this to me?!' She thought.

Shu set the tray aside as she sat down. They both looked at each other for a good 1 minute before Shu spoke up...

"I'm sorry..."

(Y/N)'s eyes went wide as he continued...

"I'm sorry for breaking your Beyblade in the past and for all the harsh things I said to you. I wasn't really in the right state of my mind. Please forgive me, I will do anything."

He finished his apology and looked over at her.

(Y/N)'s memories of all that trauma came back to her as she quickly got up and quietly yet quickly said,

"I-i forgive you S-Shu. N-now I have to g-go. B-bye, good night."
She trotted towards the door but Shu saw right through her lies as he went after her and trapped her in between the wall and himself.

"(Y/N), for real I can tell you haven't. I know it has traumatized you but look at me now. I am no longer Red Eye. I am Shu, Shu Kurenai. Please can't we start over again?"

He tried to look over at her and here the poor girl was crying and trembling again.
(Y/N) clutched her bey tightly in her hands and looked over at Shu as she began...

"P-please don't break my b-bey again. Please..."

Now Shu couldn't hold it in anymore. He buried her face in his chest and rested his chin on her head as his hair covered his eyes and silent tears began to fall.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened as she felt the warm liquid trickle down on her head. She was starting to feel bad for not forgiving Shu. So, she quietly tried to hug him back too. It was now (Y/N), who was trying to calm down Shu.

Shu was crying silently and enjoying the warmth of (Y/N). He slowly smiled. They were still in that position before Shu broke the silence...

"(Y/N)? Would you believe me if I told you I love you?"

He glanced at her trying to search for an answer in her expression. When she didn't answer, he feared that he might get rejected. He quickly spoke up.

"I-its ok if you don't. I mean why would you after what I did an-"

She cut him off by kissing him right on the lips. Shu quickly shut his eyes and held her tightly enjoying the moment whilst kissing her back.

Pulling away, he got to see (Y/N) smile after so long as she said,

"I never expected my crush to love me back!"

Shu smiled too as she wiped away his tears.

'Her hands are so soft and warm.' Shu thought.

"Hey Shu?"

"Yes?"

"How do I believe you are not Red Eye anymore? Can you prove it?" She asked playfully poking his nose.

"Oh, I see, so you want proof?" He smirked, confusing (Y/N).

He swiftly picked her up bridal style and walked towards his bed and asked,

"Would Red Eye do this?"

This caught her off guard as she had her face flushed in red.

Shu laid both of them down in the bed, pulling over the blanket, covering themselves.

He cuddled her while smiling. Softly, he heard her say, "I believe you. Only Shu Kurenai can be so affectionate. Love you."

"Love you too, (Y/N)."

He placed a kiss on her forehead and they both drifted off to sleep, in each other's embrace.

Don't know about you all but I am happy with the way it came out. I wrote this when I was feeling down and wanted a hug from literally anyone, but didn't get one. 😞
So, I wrote this because I so badly wanted to be cuddled by Shu.
