WARNINGS: VIOLENCE
Monday, August 25th:
The day had finally come. It was the 442nd Quidditch World Cup final.
Artemis was ecstatic to watch the match. Her mother was finally home at their manor.
All the members of her family got tickets for the match, but her uncle Lucius managed to get seats in the minister's box, so she would be situated there with him, Draco, Blaise, Daphne and Theo.
She couldn't wait to meet up with everyone, but they all got ready in their separated homes before they were transported to the stadium.
Artemis had recently had her hair put into Senegalese twists, so she didn't have to keep doing it each morning. Similar to Blaise, he usually had his mother put his hair in cornrows, whenever his cousin couldn't do it.
Artemis had changed into a white-knee-length shirt and a black sleeveless sweater, her braids were in a ponytail and ankle boots sat comfortably on her feet.
She only wore two accessories, her ring and a small black clutch attached to a chain.
The weather was more humid than hot, but the light breeze that kissed her face made it all slightly bearable.
Decorations were hung all already the field, she could spot the various tents even from the entrance.
"Darling." a deep voice called out from behind her, she swivelled on her feet and grin when she came face to face with a certain platinum-haired boy.
Draco was clad in an all-black suit, something she knew that both Theo and Blaise were wearing as well.
Her feet picked up as she ran up to him, ignoring the leering stares from other wizards, "I've missed you." she mumbled into his chest, and he quickly snaked his hands around her waist, "You look handsome."
"And you look beautiful." he pressed a kiss to her forehead.
Since the pair had begun to date, they couldn't help but be quite touchy-feely, just out of habit.
They had always been that way, but since declaring their feelings, it had been overdrive and all their peers noticed it.
"You should wear black suits more often." her eyes trailed over his attire, when she pulled away and placed her arms around his neck, he smirked at her reaction.
"Already planning on it."
"How was France?" she questioned, Artemis had only ever been to the country once when she was very young and she could barely remember anything about it.
He shrugged as his eyes focused on each feature of her face that he had missed over the last 2 months.
"The same," he replied and she nodded, "how was New Orleans and being around those bloodsuckers?" he asked in a hushed and irritated tone.
She ran her thumb over his pulse point, successfully calming him down, he sighed at the motion, "Not as bad as I thought."
He squinted down at her, their height difference was even more noticeable, as he had grown another inch over the summer, "So you actually like this Klaus Guy?"
"I guess, he treats my mother well and Elijah treats my aunt the same."
He watched as a smile pulled at her lips, making him huff in annoyance, "So there is no way they can die?" he groaned.
She shook her head, "Drac-"
"I'm kidding." he cut her off quickly after hearing her change in tone.
"Sure," she muttered, narrowing her gaze and he smiled innocently as if he said nothing wrong.
"How was Theo?" he wanted to change the subject, not wanting to cause a fight.
"Not as upset as he was at the beginning of Summer but he's getting better, I just can't believe that his parents reacted like that."
Her anger towards the Notts might've been misplaced, however, she couldn't get passed how often Theo would cry himself to sleep because he didn't get the reaction he wanted from his parents.
It only made her feel like she had to protect him more, Theo was like her little brother and she didn't want to see him hurt anymore.
"They need time and so does he."
She was taken back by the sincerity in Draco's tone, she reeled back eyeing him to see if he was being serious.
"When did you become mature?" she teased.
He playfully rolled his eyes, "Hardly mature, I just like Theo, everyone else can suffer."
She jabbed her chest, "There he is." they both started to laugh.
"I guess we'll meet the others at the camp?" he asked with a playful glint in his eyes, which she easily caught.
"Yup."
He hummed, "Good."
"Why?"
"Because I can do this." he placed his hands on the side of her face and pulled her in her a kiss.
She smiled as her lips met his.
As the kiss became more passionate, his hands fell and grabbed her waist and tugged her closer.
Their eagerness was clear and both had missed the other so much.
They were snapped out of their intimacy when they heard someone clear their throat.
When they turned around they were met with Lucius Malfoy, who stood with a blank expression, yet Artemis could've sworn that joy flashed through his stormy eyes.
The couple awkwardly looked down.
What they didn't know was that Lucius was thinking about the many bets he had made with his friends and how to speed up their understanding.
He also wished that Ezekial could've seen them know, but he knew wishing on the impossible was useless.
"Hi, uncle." Artemis uncomfortably waved at the long-haired man, whereas Draco exchanged a pointed look with his father.
"Artemis-Joelle," Lucius nodded at her, then turned to his son, "Draco," he motioned for the pair to lean closer, "we should get going before all those mudbloods block the isles." he turned on his feet.
Draco broke out in fits of laughter as he watched his father walk off, Artemis nudged him, still mortified.
"Don't laugh."

"Blimey dad, how far up are we?" A familiar voice asked as Draco, Artemis and Lucius walk through the rows, they all turned to look up and noticed the Weasleys.
"Well put it this way, if it rains, you'll be the first to know" Lucius snarled, causing all the smiles to drop from their enthusiastic faces.
"My family and I are in the Minister's box, by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself," Draco proudly smirked and interlocked hands with Artemis, after noticing the disheartened expression on a certain Gryffindor's face.
Artemis knew what her boyfriend was doing, she didn't care, but his boasting was irritating.
"Don't boast, Draco" Lucius mumbled poking, his son in the stomach with his walking stick.
The Weasley twins shot the Seramore girl a wink, she smiled and turned away. Surprisingly Draco wasn't angry at the minor interaction, especially because his friends had explained all of their escapades that happened during their third year, which he found quite amusing.
He was annoyed that they were interacting with Hufflepuffs, Gryffindors and especially Weasley students, but for once he didn't voice his opinion, since he was still on thin ice with all of them.
"Harold," Artemis nodded at the Potter wizard, the boy tried to keep his composure, but a smile spread across his face.
She noticed how he and the rest of the Weasley all grew their hair out. she didn't mind it but she wished they at least ran a comb through it.
"Artemis," he waved, but his cheerful mood became more defeated when Draco pressed a kiss to her forehead.
Catching his expression, Lucius only wanted to spread more malice, he suddenly hit Harry in the foot with his cane,ย "Do enjoy yourself, won't you? While you can," he said ominously.
Artemis eyed her uncle suspiciously, as they all walked closer to the minister's box and then ran into Blaise, Theo and Daphne.
They all collided and hugged one another.
Lucius left them to their own devices and carried on walking up the flights of stairs.
"Okay, we need to make bets now," Draco spoke up first as they all huddled together, "Bulgaria is definitely going to win."
"Yeah I'm with D on this," Blaise agreed, "and if they do, you owe us 30 galleons."
"I honestly don't care," Daphne groaned, wondering why she even came to the final, instead of spending time, doing nothing at home.
Her boyfriend gave her a peck on the lips, which ultimately reminded her why attended, so she quickly kept her mouth shut.
"40 galleons if they lose," Artemis said and Theo nodded in agreement.
"I'm with Temi."
"Deal," Draco put his hand out and they all shook hands, "Daph, are you not going to bet anything?"
"Nope," she shook her head defiantly, "I just want to see if Viktor Krum is as fit as everyone says."
"He isn't" Theo and Artemis say simultaneously, shocking the boys.
Ignoring his girlfriend's comment, Draco said, "I already know Bulgaria is gonna win," he smiled proudly. Then they all climbed up the rest of the flights of stairs, to make it to the minister's box, where Cornelius Fudge was sitting alongside Lucius.
"Ah! Children it is great to see you all," The Minister smiled as they all neared, "And you must be Artemis and Draco!" he exclaimed loudly, then turned to the other teens, "Blaise, Theodorus," Theo suppressed the urge to cringe, "and Daphne."
"Hello sir" Draco plastered on a smile as he shook the man's hand.
Artemis mirrored his actions, "Nice to meet you,"
"Nice to meet all of you," Cornelius greeted the other three, "Yes yes, well sit, we're about to start" he grinned, then pointed at the front-row seats.
Their view was wild and clear. The teens all quickly moved to their seats, and the boys made sure that the girls were secure before they sat down.
The Minister then spoke into his microphone, as the stadium went silent, "Good evening! As Minister for Magic it gives my great pleasure to welcome each and every one of you, to the final of the 422nd Quidditch World Cup!" he announced "Let the match...Begin!" He yelled as a bright ball of light left his wand.

The match finished and Bulgaria lost.
Unfortunately for Draco and Blaise who appeared like they just died internally, they sat with their heads in their hands trying to ignore the grins they received from Theo and Artemis.
"Bulgaria is definitely going to win." Artemis mocked her boyfriend, "you guys owe us 40 galleons each."
"Each?" Draco and Blaise screeched, sitting up, making Daphne laugh.
"What?" Theo held his hand out expectantly.
Artemis mirrored his actions, "Pay up."
"That's not fair! Bulgaria must've won! I demand a do-over!" Draco complained, refusing to believe it.
"Ireland won darling!" Artemis smirked, "don't be a sore loser."
"We never speak of this" Blaise grumbled, "we'll give you the money when we get back, I don't carry change with me."
Theo laughed, "why?"
"I don't like to jingle."
"Fair enough."
"You still lost," Daphne shrugged and laughed louder, making her boyfriend scowl.
Both Draco and Blaise covered their ears, as Artemis and Theo joined in her laughter.
After 10 minutes of mocking and teasing, the teens made their way back to the secluded tents, where the wealthier purebloods stayed.
They were closer to the forest, on purpose.
They were all aware that something was going to happen tonight, between Lucius' tense demeanour and the change in atmosphere, it was obvious.
Lucius hastily strolled into the tent and approached the pureblood 5 with a blank yet apprehensive expression, "children go play in the forest."
"Play? That's absurd," Draco was quick to respond until he remembered what his father told him before they left their manor, "nevermind, we'll go,"
They all exited the tent, Draco grabbed Artemis' hand, while she grabbed Theo's arm. Blaise did the same with Daphne.
Quickly, they stood by the edge forest, all keeping their heads up as they tried to ignore the uneasy feeling spreading through their stomachs.
They winced when they heard Explosions from the distance, luckily they were far away before things escalated.
Suddenly and groups of men in masks holding torches raided and destroyed the camp.
"Bloody hell," Theo muttered as the field was set ablaze.
Death Eaters were setting things on fire, tents burst into flames and the screams of the people were increasing.
The purebloods were leaning against the stumps of trees when familiar voices came closer, tripping and running on their way.
"Ron! Come on!" Hermoine yelled as she ran back to help her red-haired boy up from the floor.
"It's not my fault, I tripped over a tree root," Ron groaned as she helped him up.
"Well with feet that size, hard not to" Draco spoke up, startling the three as he wrapped his arms around Artemis.
Theo watched the blaze with a cigarette sitting between his lips.
Blaise nudged him and he passed it over before taking a deep drag.
Daphne blocked out the loud noises and just stared at her boyfriend, completely enamoured by him, he turned his head as the smoke escaped his mouth.
"Fuck off Malfoy," Ron sneered at both him and the Seramore witch, who held an amused expression.
"Language Weasley."
Hermoine gulped when she locked eyes with Theo and the cigarette that he and Blaise were sharing, "S-smoking is bad for you."
"So is keeping secrets, Granger," the Nott boy shrugged innocently, all his friends knew the meaning behind his words, as did she.
Hermoine bowed her head and ignored the looks she received from her best friends.
"Hadn't you better be hurrying along now? You wouldn't want her spotted, would you?" Daphne nodded toward the girl.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Hermoine asked in the offence.
"Granger, they're after muggle-borns" Artemis explained as calmly as possible, for once she wasn't trying to be offensive, "they will easily smell you if you hang around. Leave while you can."
Her ominous tone made the golden trio stiffen.
"Hermione's a witch," Harry said, a glare threatened to appear on his face, not fond of the words she spat out, perhaps she only said them because of Malfoy. He thought.
"Have it your way Potter, if you think they can't spot a Mudblood, stay where you are." Draco snapped, angry at the way the boy stared at his girlfriend.
The Malfoy wizard chose to not take notice of the disapproving looks he received from his friends at the use of the slur.
"You, watch your mouth!" Ron yelled at him, which only made the menacing smile on Draco's face grow.
"Never mind them, Ron" Hermoine spoke trying to disregard the purebloods words.
Draco laughed bitterly at the redhead, "I suppose your useless father told you all to hide? I bet he's off trying to save all those muggles?" he received a subtle elbow to the stomach from his girlfriend.
"Where are your parents anyway?" Harry angrily gibed, "Out there wearing masks, aren't they?"
Blaise had enough and scoffed, "I don't think it's wise to talk about parents Potter." he said darkly, shocking everyone.
They knew that Blaise had finally lost his patience.
"Oh come on" Hermoine disgustedly said and pulled her best friends, "Let's go find the others" she mumbled as they all walked away, looking for the rest of the Weasleys.
"This year is gonna be fun." Blaise shook his head in annoyance, he felt Daphne wrap his arms around him, calming him slightly.
Theo stumped out the cigarette and threw an arm around the Zabini boy.
Artemis sighed and rested her head against her boyfriend, "fan-fucking-tastic."

a/n:
honestly, I loved this film even though it was inaccurate.
Pureblood 5 are back together and I can finally breathe again.
This act has taken me less than 2 weeks to write because not much happens for the group. But it will be more lighthearted, apart from the final task scene.
Hope you enjoyed it.
Any predictions?
