The Daring Dangers

Robin calls the twins, Artemis, Megan, and Conner to the mission room for an uncover mission. He gets right to the point, bringing up a holomap in front of him.

"Advanced weapons tech have been stolen at manufacturing plants throughout Europe. And each theft coincides with tour stops made by the Haly Circus. Batman is sending us undercover to catch the thieves," Robin says, pointing to the three locations on the map highlighted in red.

"This clown car have room for one more?" Roy asks, walking up to Robin midway through Robin's speech.

"Seven? Seems a little like overkill," Spook admits.

"Yeah. Uh, we've got this covered," Robin says.

"You've got the mission covered," Roy whispers, but still the twins and Conner are able to hear with their super hearing. "But who's covering the five potential mole suspects you're bringing along?"

That brings them to their current situation.

"Damen and Herren, Madams and Monsieurs, Ladies and Gentlemen." The speaker appears in a puff of smoke, all lights on him. "Welcome to the Haly International Travelling Circus!" Jack Haly, the ringmaster introduces. "Where the world in the center ring is your oyster and these are our latest pearls! The Daring Dangers!" The light shines up to Robin. "Dan Danger!" Robin as he swings across the trapeze. "Dawn Danger!" Miss Martian as she heads toward him, going passed him and grabbing onto his last pole as he grabs hers. "Diane Danger!" Artemis as she aims an arrow. "Dane Danger!" Red Arrow as he aims his arrow. "Destiny Danger!" Spook and she takes a deep breath for a ice beam. "Diego Danger!" Phantom as he takes a deep breath for a flamethrower. "And Dean Danger!" Superboy as he's tossing around barrels like they weigh nothing. They all shoot as Robin and Miss M go through the barrels that Superboy tossed up. The crowd cheers loudly. "You'll never see another trapeze act like this, folks, and all of it, without a net!"

Robin goes to grab Miss M's hand, but misses and begins to fall. The crowd gasps in fear and then begins screaming.

'Robin!' Miss Martian shouts.

'Don't blow our cover!' Robin shouts, noticing Spook about to take action.

'But saving your life's okay?" Superboy questions, throwing a barrel upwards so he can maneuver straight back to the martian's waiting hands.

His hands miss but Miss Martian uses her powers to pull him into her grasp. The crowd oohs and ahs again.

'What did I just say?' Robin huffs.

'The crowd couldn't see me use telekinesis from below. Besides, I've been using it all night. I'm not exactly the acrobat you are,' Megan says.

'Yeah, neither am I right now. I think I caught that 24-hour bug that's been going around the circus. But the show must go on.'

'Glad we can't get human diseases,' Phantom mutters.

'True that!' Spook replies.

They continue their performance until they finish. They all begin waving to the crowd once they all gather in one place.

"Put your hands together for The Daring Dangers!"

Cheers and applause go wild around the stadium.

'Didn't think you'd make it through,' Megan's voice comes through everyone's mind but the speech was for Robin.

'Neither did I,' Robin winces. 'Help me backstage...'

They all leave as the next performance comes out. They all head to a corner to chat.

"Haly, what's the deal? Giving the top slot to those Danger kids?" one male huffs.

"That's our slot!" another male who looks identical to the first fusses.

This catches the attention of Spook who listens on as well as Roy and Robin.

"'Was your slot', until you missed that performance in Paris," Haly huffs.

"Carlo was sick! He's better now," the man huffs.

"Plus those Dangers are a sham," Carlos adds. "They say they're brothers and sisters. They don't even look alike! The only two that look similar are the twins."

"Ah, you just don't like the competition!" Haly huffs, pushing pass them, ending up to look at a tall white haired male. "Ah, for crying out loud, not you again! We're in the middle of a show!"

"Then we'll talk after, but we will talk," the man responds. "Another city last week, another tech firm robbed, another stop on your tour. If I prove you're responsible, I will shut you down."

"I've got three minutes to gather props and get back to the center ring," Haly growls, walking away from him.

The white haired male turns to the team and walks over, pulling out his Interpol badge. "Faraday, Interpol. New act?"

"Yeah, just joined the tour," Robin speaks.

"Probably clears you, but don't get too comfortable. Haly's going down for this." He disappears out of sight.

After the show is over, the team starts their real mission. They gather at a warehouse that Robin believes will be the next target.

'If Interpol's already on this, why are we bothering?' Superboy huffs.

'Because we can get answers faster,' Phantom says.

'Because Batman said so,' Robin says. 'Why? You had something better to do?'

'Chill, mini Batman,' Spook retorts.

'How do we know the thieves will hit here?' Artemis asks.

'There are more obvious targets,' Red Arrow adds.

'And Faraday will have them covered,' Robin pants. 'But I analyzed the tech already stolen, and the patterns suggest this is the place.'

'How are you feeling?' Megan asks.

'Lousy, actually, but I'll manage.'

'Contact! North-East quadrant,' Superboy says.

They watch the guy skillfully leap over the electric fence.

'It looks like we know why 'Carlo' missed a performance," Superboy scoffs.

'Could be Carlo, could be his brother. Keep an open mind. And move in!' Robin says, heading down from his perch with Megan.

'Did you see where he went?' Robin asks, as everyone gathers around him.

Superboy lands with a light thud and glares at the building. "The warehouse."

The others nod and head on as Spook stays behind, looking at Superboy.

"How did you know that?" Spook asks.

"I saw him."

"No, you were glaring at the build as if you were using x-ray vision," Spook retorts. "But x-ray vision isn't one of your powers. Is there something you're not telling me?"

"I have infrared vision," he retorts. "I looked for his heat signature."

Spook looks at him suspiciously before she nods and follows the others, unknown to the sigh of relief from Superboy behind her. They gather on top boxes behind the thief's head. Robin cackles.

"Caught red-handed! Red faced, too, I'll bet," Robin giggles.

"Acrobatics won't get you out of this," Artemis says, arrows aimed.

He turns around and aims a blast of fire. Spook counters by shooting ice right back, causing steam to arise.

"Live ammo! Those crates are full of live ammo! Move!" Red Arrow shouts, running away.

The twins phase through it as the building explodes. The two gather back with their team.

"That guy is dead meat!" Superboy shouts, jumping off.

"Superboy, no!" Robin shouts.

"I got M'gann," Phantom says, lifting her from Robin's support.

"And I got you," Spook says, grabbing the toppling Robin as he passes out. "Artemis, Red, help Superboy find the thief."

They nod and take off in the direction. The twins take the two helpless to atop an opposite building.

"The thief got away," RA reports through the comm.

Spook sighs. "Regroup. We'll try again tomorrow. We need to get back to the circus to help Miss Martian and Robin." Spook begins to cool the air around them to get Megan back on her feet.

"Brrr," RA says, arriving on the building. "What are you doing to them?!"

"I'm cooling them down," Spook says, pushing out more cool air from her body. "Robin has a high fever and Miss M is regaining consciousness." Spook places a cool hand on Robin's forehead.

Superboy lands on the building with a grunt of frustration, followed by Artemis. Superboy punches the nearby wall, causing a dent to form and bits of wall to crumble.

"Who put you in charge if Robin is down?" RA huffs.

"Kaldur," Spook responds, tired of his accusations. "It was decided by all of us when Kaldur was not here, Robin or I would be in charge. I could care less for being in charge, so I always let Robin be in charge."

"You know, I'm tired of you bashing on her!" Superboy huffs, getting in Red Arrow's face. "None of us are a mole! The twins wouldn't even make sense. What would they have to gain from being a mole! They aren't even alive." He shoves Red Arrow a bit as a warning and turns toward Spook with a annoyed face. "Jeez... and I thought I had the thick head..."

Spook looks at Conner in surprise before she begins to giggle at his last statement. "You both have thick heads. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Robin and Miss M are hurt. We need to get back to the circus for them to rest and before the circus takes off for the next destination. Fratello, you take Robin and I'll get Miss Martian." Spook lifts up Megan, turns invisible, and flies back to the circus train.

The next day comes and the rehearsals are about to begin.

"Another weapons plant is hit, and once again the circus is in town," Faraday says. "I don't believe in coincidences."

"I don't care what you believe. My people are not responsible. I did a bed check last night. Every single member of my troupe was asleep in their bunks," Haly retorts.

'Well, we sure weren't,' Megan says.

'And if he's lying about us...' Artemis says.

"Dangers, you're up!" Haly calls. "Get out there."

'I'm still keeping an open mind. I don't believe Haly's behind anything,' Spook says. 'His soul is not tainted by evil.'

'You can read people's souls?' Artemis asks while they all head to their places.

'Of course, I am a ghost,' Spook grins. 'The whole team's auras fluctuate though. Even you Roy.'

Roy scoffs in response.

The rehearsal ends and it becomes late at night. The team is in the twins' bunk.

'So two thieves, right? The fire breather and one of the acrobats,' Artemis asks.

'Just in identical clothes!' Megan says.

'Maybe not just two. Here's the Madrid security footage. And now, Paris,' Robin says, showing them the two videos.

'So the strong man and the clown too. If the entire circus is involved, Haly himself may be the mastermind,' Roy says.

'You don't know that,' Robin claims.

'It would explain his lies,' Megan reasons.

"I told you to keep an open mind!" Robin shouts and stomps out the room.

'Hello, Megan! I'll read Haly's mind!'

'I'm not sure we can trust you to do that without tipping him off,' Roy says.

'Or maybe you don't trust her, period! I heard you talking to Robin back at the Cave. I know you're only here to spy on the five of us!' Conner shouts.

'There's a mole on this Team. And good reasons to suspect all five of you. Both Artemis and Miss Martian have already been caught in lies. And you could be programmed by Cadmus without even knowing.'

'Or maybe I take your head off without even trying!'

'Okay, let's all take a time out,' Spook says, placing a hand on Conner's shoulder which seems to calm him down a little.

'Before we do something we'll regret,' Megan finishes.

'Speak for yourself.' Conner huffs and leaves the room with Megan and Phantom.

"I'm gonna go check on Robin, unless you can't trust me to do that and might surprise attack him," Spook scoffs, turning invisible and phasing out the train cart. Spook finds him looking at a large poster with the words written 'The Flying Graysons' across the top. She floats down to him, turning visible when she knows nobody's looking. "Rob—I mean, Dan. Are you okay?"

"Uh, I'm, fine. Fine."

She looks back up at the poster he was looking at. "I know this is about your past. This isn't really a mission from Batman. It's a mission for you."

"How did you–?"

"I should've mentioned this before..." Spook sighs. "When Batman asked me to... test out my overshadowing abilities, I... saw a lot of his... memories. Most of which are about you or with you. I know who... you both really are under the masks. Don't worry, I haven't told anyone, not even my brother."

"Why didn't you tell us this earlier?"

"Well, it doesn't happen immediately," Spook admits. "But when I sleep, I get memories as dreams. It's kind of a new thing for me, so I'm getting used to it. I just now realized that they were memories though after seeing this poster of your family." She looks toward 'The Flying Graysons' poster.

Robin looks up at her and the floodgates open up. Robin collapses into Spook's arms and begins to silently cry. At first, Spook's a little surprised at the vulnerability he's showing her but then she realizes it's because he trusts her. The ghost girl gently places her arms around him, rubbing soothing circles into his back. That's the moment that Spook has realized that she really has come to get close and bond with this team over the past few months. She trusts them with her life, dead or alive.

After a while, Robin begins to calm down and separates from the ghost girl. "I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean– I-It's just that... it felt like I was reliving my parents' deaths, just... in their place..."

She gives him a quick hug. "It's okay. I'm here if you ever want to talk..." she sighs, releasing herself from him and looking at her feet. "I'm... sorry I didn't tell you about the memories earlier. I wanted to be sure before I said anything."

"I get it."

She looks up with a surprised expression. "Really?"

"Yeah, and I won't tell Batman that you know about us. Mainly because I don't wanna get in trouble or see you get yelled at by him about keeping secret identities."

"Thanks," she says and gives him a wink. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about this."

"We'll call it even."

She gives a short laugh. "Well, it looks like we're about to start our next show," Spook says, noticing all the people through the cracks. "Shall we go, Di–excuse me, I mean, Dan Danger."

"We shall, Destiny Danger."

They laugh as they head off to find their team. The show comes and goes and before long they have to pack up the train. Artemis and Spook load up further away from the others.

"I don't know why they expect the girls to load these heavy things," Artemis complains. "Why can't Strongman do this?"

"I heard Strongman had that flu that's going around," Spook says.

"Of course he does."

After getting everything loaded on the train, the whistle on the train blows and everyone gets on board. Everyone once again heads into the twins' room.

"Why does everyone always come to our room?" Phantom complains.

"Why, you trying to hide something?" Roy asks.

"You trying to start something?" Phantom answers.

"I have to agree with my fratello. Shouldn't M–Dawn, rest in her own room?"

Phantom sits down next to Megan, holding her hand. Superboy and Spook sit on the opposite bunk. Robin and Artemis are standing at the door and Roy is opposite of them by the closed window.

"You look better," Artemis talks to Robin.

"I feel better. I'm sorry, Me—Dawn. I hope you didn't catch it from me."

"I feel so silly. Who knew a Martian could be vulnerable to a human virus?" Megan sighs.

"Uh, H.G. Wells? Look, when did you first feel sick?" Robin asks.

"Just after boarding the train. It came on suddenly."

"Same with me, the other night. I remember Ray rubbed my head for good luck right before we went on," Robin says.

"Ray? That roustabout? He touched her before we boarded," Phantom says.

"That guy must be a walking Petri dish," Conner scoffs.

"Yeah. Yeah, maybe," Robin says, rushing out the room so quick he has to push himself off the wall from running into it and continues down the hall, spotting Haly.

"Dan! You look refreshed," Haly says.

"Thanks. Uh, Jack. How long has Ray worked for you?

"A bit about the start of the European tour. Poor lad's down with the same flu as the rest of them," Haly continues.

Artemis walks out the room with Conner and Roy in tow. "We'll check on him. It's the least we can do," Artemis says, turning to head down the opposite way.

Spook comes out and looks at Haly with confusion, Megan following behind her.

"If you insist," Haly says.

"You should stay in bed," Phantom orders Megan.

"I agree with him," Robin says.

"As a friend of mine once said, 'I'll manage,'" she says with a smile.

They all turn to head down the hall.

"I couldn't mention it before but that Haly didn't have the same aura as the last time I saw him," Spook says.

"Maybe he became tainted from all the bad things he's doing," Roy says.

"I told you to keep an open mind," Robin grunts as they arrive at Ray's bunk. They enter to see him not in his bed.

"I guess he wasn't THAT sick," Superboy scoffs.

Roy turns to point at a large box beside him that says elephant food. "Does this circus have an elephant I don't know about?"

"Not on foreign tours," Robin says.

Roy decides to open the box. "Empty. No, wait!" Roy says, dragging his finger along the inside of the box. "Ash."

"The warehouse fire in Bruges!" Robin exclaims.

"Uh, guys? I found Ray," Artemis says, lifting a mask of Ray's face out from under the mattress.

"Split up! Search the whole train!" Robin shouts.

"We'll head outside," Spook says. "I'll take the left side. You take the right, fratello."

They head outside invisible to cover more ground by searching through windows.

"Dean, Dane, Diane, Deigo, Destiny, come in! We're chasing someone who's stolen 'Dawn's act.' Her whole shtick, if you catch my drift," Robin says through the comms a few minutes later.

"I got him! But he's on to me. Exiting the dining car now," Superboy replies. "He's gone topside!"

"We're coming!" Phantom says.

They fly faster and Spook arrives just in time to see Superboy thrown off the train, but flies back onto it. FLIES BACK ONTO THE TRAIN. "Superboy..."

"That won't work on me, clown!" Superboy shouts.

"That's no clown, he's the Parasite! The guy who once stole Superman's powers," Robin announces, climbing on top of the train cart.

Phantom and Spook land near the two.

"As if you kids are who you claim to be. Please," Parasite scoffs, turning into his true form.

"Stay out of his reach! There's no flu going around. The weakness comes when he makes physical contact and feeds on the powers and abilities of others," Robin says.

"I have been a bit of a glutton today. Chowed down on the skills of nearly every loser in this troupe. But, oh, my, the piece de resistance was Dawn Danger. Or whatever her real name is. Thought I'd pouch on her trapeze skills. Imagine my surprise when she tasted like Martian Manhunter instead. She made a lovely appetizer. But guess who I want for my entrée?" Parasite growls, telekinetically lifting Superboy and bringing him into his grasp and absorbing his powers. "M-hmm, now that's the full body Kryptonian flavor I love!"

"Everyone, stay whelmed! Subdue, but keep your distance!" Robin commands.

Parasite uses heat vision to turn their archer's bows into dust. "You know, I almost never say this, but I'm sated." He drops Superboy. "Hate to eat and run." He flies away, bringing the suitcase with him. Robin leaps onto the suitcase and jumps toward Parasite. "Sorry. No hitchhikers." Parasite smacks him away.

The twins power up their ectobeams.

"Phantom, catch Robin!" Roy shouts.

Spook chases after Parasite, shooting all types of blasts. Parasite dodges most but gets skimmed a few times.

"You are a pest that I've had enough of," Parasite shouts, sending a telekinetic blast toward her, knocking her back quite a distance.

Spook quickly shakes it off and heads back at him.

"Spook, come back we need you to help Superboy," Roy says.

"But Parasite's getting away!" Spook shouts.

"And that's more important than Superboy?" Roy asks.

Spook sighs and mutter an incoherent 'no' before returning to help lift Superboy. "Conner! You alright?" Spook asks, flying up to him to help him stand.

"Fine, fine!" Superboy scoffs.

"You're drained! Parasite took more power than you even have! Heat vision?" Robin says confused.

"I have the genetic potential for it! Must've been enough for him," Superboy huffs.

"Gah!" Robin scoffs, kicking the ground, well, roof of the train. Everyone follows him down into the train, leaving Spook and Superboy.

"Go! I'll manage!" Superboy huffs at Spook.

"I'm going to help you."

"I don't need your help!" Superboy shouts.

Spooks eyes widen. "You're hurt so I'm helping!"

"Do I look hurt?!" Superboy huffs at her.

She looks at him with a little shock. "No, you don't, but now I am," she scoffs, shoving him with her shoulder before following the others. "Just trying to help and what do I get? Yelled at... If this is what I get for helping people, I quit..." she mutters to herself, knowing that Superboy could still hear her. I got yelled at less when I was harming people for my parents...

The team is once again gathered in the twins' room to discuss what to do next after they all change into their superhero costumes. Spook arrives a few minutes before Superboy makes his appearance. Spook moves next to her brother, making sure to stay away from Conner and not looking in his direction.

"It's not a complete debacle," Robin says, holding up a flash drive. "I picked Parasite's pocket, got this flash drive." He plugs it into his glove computer and his red face appears on his screen with a frown before it turns into green with a smile, confirming he's hacked the drive. "Looks like Parasite's working for Intergang. Everything he's stolen, they're all pieces of something! They're putting together a weapon that generates... black holes?"

"Oh, come on! To build that, you need a particle accelerator!" Roy scoffs.

"Like the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva?" Robin retorts.

"The circus' next stop! But now that Parasite can fly, he's got a big head start on us!" Roy exclaims.

"Sorry," Megan apologizes.

"Not your fault, but this thing could wipe out entire cities," Robin says, standing up. "We need to hurry."

"You and I need to hurry. Without powers, the others would hold us back," Roy says, pulling out a spare bow.

"Hey, you're not the only one with a backup," Artemis scoffs.

"Excuse me, when did we ever lose our powers?" Phantom asks.

The wall is suddenly punched, leaving a large dent. "My powers are back!"

"How?" Robin asks.

"I'm still–"

"I guess Kryptonians recover faster than humans or Martians," Superboy says, rubbing his arm.

"Don't even think about leaving me behind," Megan sassily says, putting her hands on her hips.

"So, who's body are we taking to get there faster?" Phantom asks.

"I don't think so," Roy says.

"Don't really have a choice," Phantom says, overshadowing Roy's body and floating. "Artemis? Need a ride?"

"Gladly," she replies.

Phantom picks up Artemis and phases through the roof of the train cart.

"I'll carry Robin," Spook says. "Megan, are you well enough to fly?"

"I'll manage," Megan says.

Spook lifts Robin and Megan through the train by their hands before she goes reluctantly back for Superboy. After phasing him through the top, he immediately jumps away after Phantom and Megan.

"Something wrong?" Robin asks.

"Nothing," Spook sighs, picking Robin up and flying towards Geneva. "Are you okay now?"

"The real question is, are you?" Robin retorts.

Spook sighs. "Honestly, I... don't really know..."

They arrive after half an hour and land at the front of the building. Phantom phases out of Roy.

Roy groans. "What the... Where..." His face becomes one of realization and he turns to Phantom. "Don't ever do that again!" he shouts.

"Sorry, you were the most likely candidate," Phantom shrugs. "That way we wouldn't have to hear you complain the whole way."

Artemis and Spook laugh. Robin looks down at the trail of passed out bodyguards.

"Trail of destruction, this way," Robin says, leading everyone in the building. They make their way to the central chamber to find Parasite at the computer. "We need to take him down or at least lure him away so we can safely disengage the–" Superboy suddenly shouts, interrupting him, and punches his way through to Parasite. "No, wait!"

"Seconds? No, I couldn't," Parasite moans.

Then they engage in a fight.

"What's wrong with–" RA growls, loading an arrow.

"Wait!" Miss M holds him back, obviously thinking of a plan.

"Ah, what a rush! How do you do it, kid? Even Superman never recharged that fast," Parasite asks after absorbing Superboy again. "Alright, Dangers, come on out! Only a couple of minutes before this baby's done warming up and eats Geneva."

"What do you think?" Megan asks, after telling us her plan.

"Big risk to take on a theory," Roy scoffs.

"Do it," Robin says. "Go."

Phantom immediately gets to work and heads out in the open. "What do you have against Geneva, anyway?"

"Never liked the food, but the menu keeps improving," Parasite answers. "I've never had whatever you are before." Parasite grabs Phantom in his telekinetic hold, bringing himself straight to his doom.

"Ah, I wouldn't have done that if I were you," Phantom taunts, blasting a breath of fire straight at his face.

"Ugh!" Parasite groans, dropping Phantom.

"What? Can't take the heat?" Phantom taunts further, using his hands to continue the flames.

"You forgot, doofus' double dose of... invulnerability. Fire... can't... touch me."

"Unless you make a meal on my powers and get my weaknesses as a side dish!" Miss M says, coming out of the hiding place with the others.

"No. No!" Parasite shouts, toppling to the ground defeated.

"Aw, poor baby. Something you ate?" Megan taunts.

Robin powers down the machine with a sigh of relief as it shuts down. Spook puts out the fire with her ice powers.

"We'll take it from here," Faraday says, walking in and placing an inhibitor collar around Parasite's neck. "Thanks for the tip, by the way. Definitely helps to prep the inhibitor collar in advance."

"Glad to be of service," Robin responds.

Roy heads over to help Superboy up.

"Wow. He dares to help a suspected traitor," Artemis teases.

"Mind open," he responds with a smile. "I guess I never really saw you five in the thick of it before. Superboy's a hot-head, but I know I'm not one to talk. You could each have betrayed us here. You didn't. I'm sorry I doubted any of you. There is no mole."

"Wow, never thought the day would come," Spook says.

"I'm sorry," Roy says.

"No, not admitting you were wrong, even though that's pretty big. The big thing is, is that you're smiling. Never could I imagine what you would look like with a smile and now I'm seeing it," Spook teases.

That causes Roy to look somewhat flustered.

"You look like a doofus," Phantom admits. "So stop."

Artemis laughs as Roy's expression turns to annoyed.

"Come on, we need to return to the circus," Robin says.

They return to the circus and Spook immediately heads to a secluded part of the circus, the top of a train cart, to watch everyone set the circus up for the show tomorrow.

"Destiny..." a voice calls out. Spook doesn't turn to look and keeps her focus in the direction where the area is getting set up. A thud is heard from beside her and she realizes who's there but chooses to ignore him. "Spook, I know you can hear me."

"I must be hearing things..." Spook whispers.

A sigh is let out beside her. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

"Hmmp." She turns her head in the opposite direction.

"I'm sorry, I'm still trying to get used to being a normal person. I'm still trying to get over the whole controlling my anger thing."

Spook sighs. "You're hiding something from everyone. I saw you fly tonight."

Superboy sighs. "Yeah, I have little spurts of flight every once in a while. It doesn't last long though."

"You're lying," Spook says with a sigh. "Your aura flickers whenever you lie. But, it's okay. I get that you don't want to tell me. You don't trust me yet. That's okay. You're learning to trust just like I am. You'll tell me when you're ready."

Conner gives her an expression of confusion mixed with shock. "That's not–"

"Let's head to our rooms. We need to save our energy for tomorrow," Spook says, phasing through the train cart she's on to be in her room.

"You okay?" Rai asks.

"Fine," Spook sighs, transforming to her human self and locking the door. "Just tired."

The next day comes and Robin returns to the twins' room after he spoke with Haly, looking a little shaken but happy at the same time.

"So?" Roy asks.

"He figured out it had something to do with us," Robin says. "He says thank you. That and we're going to do a farewell performance for the show tonight."

"Damn, and here I was hoping that I finally got rid of this stupid outfit," Roy complains, earning a chuckle from the others.

Night rolls around and it's time.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the farewell performance of the Daring Dangers!" Haly says for the last time.
