"I'm not keeping it," Aquilon harshly stated to her mate, Boris.

         "Well neither am Aquilon,"

         The jagged egg laid still in the snow, still nowhere near fully developed. It was settled in the cold snow of the ice kingdom's palace courtyard.

         "We already have 4 female heirs. Having any more can run the IceWings reputation!" She hissed with a shaky voice.

         "We can hand it over to Snowlight, your cousin," Boris stated in slight panic.

         Aquilon growled, "Are you crazy? She'll blackmail me, us, for sure,"

         Boris looked around the courtyard, then at his egg. He frowned in frustration.

         "Boris," Aquilon interrupted his thoughts, "The situation's not looking good for us, if you really feel so bad for this "egg", we can just abando- er I mean, give it to one of the females near the west border villages,"

         "Fine, except when all of Pyrrhia and Pantala find out this is all on you, do you understand?"

         "Yes, yes I do,"

         "All right then," Boris sighs, hesitating he finally answers, "we have a deal,"

         Aquilon smirks nonchalantly. She wasn't the same after southern territory expanding.

         "I'll have Brinical, my trusted guard bring it to the village." Aquilon's words had a whif of malice, suspicion began to rise in Boris' thoughts, but not enough to have him say anything about it.

         I hope this isn't a sort of trickory..

         "I'll take it from here Boris, you can leave darling," She slithered.

         Boris took one last glance at the gleaming white egg and soon lifted
off into the bright blue sky.
