Its been a few months in, learning to use lightsabers the right way, focusing on our force, and the codes, thanks to Master Luke. Ben has been doing better since I got here. Ben and I are getting closer now, and also with Jules. The other kids, not so much. But Hes the sweetest. He makes training a lot more better.

"Come on!" Jules grabs my hand as we ran to the temple to train. We grabbed our lightsabers and stood in line. I stood next Ben. He gave me a side look, chuckling.

"What are you laughing at?" I asked.

"You're really small." I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Hera, its time." I stepped up from the line. "Try to use the force. Bring it to you. Take it out of my hands." Luke said as he shook my lightsaber in his hand. Ben and the others stood there, looking at me, making me nervous. "Ignore everything. Focus." My last part of basic training, if i do this right, i get move on with the class.

"Okay." I whispered. I put up my arm and tried to get it back to me. I closed my eyes.

"You can do it. I believe in you."

I heard Bens voice in my head. Those words calmed me down. I took a deep breath and focused. I heard the saber shake. The force, i felt it. My hand closed as the lightsaber came to my hand. I opened my eyes and smiled. Everyone was clapping, I looked at Ben, who was smiling back at me.

"Great job Hera." Ben stood next to me. "Class, next week, we will start using the lightsabers, so make sure you bring yours." Ben and I were almost at the door until Luke stopped us. "Sit." We both sat down. "You both are strong. You both have this force, unbreakable when together. I want you guys to feel it." Ben and I sat face to face. We closed our eyes. This time, I can feel his thoughts, he's emotions. My head started to twitch. I hear these voices, darkness.

"Ben Solo"

I heard that voice, it scared me. It was like a hiss. I tried to keep it together.

"Kill her!" That dark voice echoed through my head, i got scared. I opened my eyes and we both flew apart. I hit the wall, and Ben hit a bunch of sticks. We groaned in pain. I rubbed my head. It had to be nothing, Ben would never.

"Hera!" Ben quickly got up and ran to me. He reached out and i looked at him. Studying every feature he had. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah Im okay." I grabbed his hand and helped me up. We were close. He looked down at me.

"Felt the force?" Ben and I stepped back and nodded. "You both can do so much together." The doors opened and R2D2 came in. They had a whole conversation. "Thank you." He looked at us. "Tomorrow there is no training. You both deserve a break. training is over." Luke walked off with R2D2.

"Want to take a walk later?" Ben asks as we walked out of the training room.

"You'll know where ill be." I smiled as I walked off to my hut. I saw Jules and I pulled her to the side. "Youll never guess what just happened!"

"What?"

"Ben just asked me to go on a walk later." Its just probably a walk, but I mean, its Ben, the boy I've been crushing on since I got here months ago.

"Seriously!" I nodded. "He so likes you! I mean its so obvious."

"I really hope so."

Ben's POV

I ran so fast to my parents, who were still here. I want to tell them about Hera. I saw Chewie and my father.

"Dad!" I said as I ran up to him.

"Hey, slow down." He smiled at him. "What is it?" I sat down next to him.

"How do you know if a girl likes you?" I played with my fingers. My dad looks at me.

"They would try to kill you." He answered. I frowned in confusion. "Is this about Hera?"

"What? No!" I played it off.

"Well, you gotta pretend that you dont care, girls dig that. I did that to your mother. Here we are now." Chewie shakes his head. "Listen Ben, if you like this girl, go for it. There's nothing stopping you." I nodded. "Hera is a sweet girl."

"Its not Hera." I looked down, i lied.

"Okay kid."

"Im glad you're back. Its sad that you guys have to go today."

"Duty calls son." I was heading to the door until my dad stood up. "Make sure Luke doesn't see you and your 'friend.'"My dad looks at me again, with a smile.

"Ill keep that in mind." I smiled at him. I gave him a hug. I walked out and to Heras hut I go. "Hera?" The door moved to the side and there she was. Her black hair, tied up, passing her shoulders, the two strands of hair that were hanging on the side of her face, and her smile that makes me feel warm and welcomed. "Hi." I managed to say.

"Hi." She closes the door, making a sound behind her. "Ready?" I nodded. I held her hand as We walked in the walkway, it was dark, but not too dark that I see Hera, smiling. We went to garden. We stood there, looking at the stars, still holding hands. "Hey Ben?"

"Yeah Hera?" I turned to her.

"Wanna play around with our lightsabers?" I mean, its highly dangerous, one of us would get hurt. "We dont have to if you dont want to."

"No, we can." We reached out for our sabers. I saw the black handle with a hint of orange detailing. "You made your lightsaber."

"Made it my own." Her orange saber reflecting off her skin, making her more beautiful. Then my blue saber reflecting off me. We hit our sabers, side by side. We were taking it slow. Her laughing warmed me up.

"Woah!" Hera trips over her foot. I quickly turn off my lightsaber and catch her. She turned off hers shortly after. I held her, towering over her. Her hand gripping my arm. We looked at each other. I slowly leaned in. All i know is that my lips were touching hers. They were soft and delicate. We stood up straight, without taking a break. Her hands touched my cheeks. My arms wrapped around her waist. Hera was definitely stepping on her tippy toes, she is a lot smaller than i am. The force was so strong between us. We broke the kiss as i felt a presence. I looked up to see my parents. My face turned bright red. "What?" Hera turns around and see them. She slowly turns back to me.

"Im so sorry." I told her.

"You didnt do anything wrong." She smiled.

"Teenagers." My dad said as I shooed off my parents. My dad nodded his head as he walked away. We decided to go back to my room. I sat down next to Hera.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked her.

"How fun it would be if i was a pilot."

"I think about that too, you know." She turns to me. "I want to be like my dad. Fly around, have fun."

"I guess thats what we have to do then." We? I liked that. We. "We can travel together." We laid back. My hand touched hers, then she held my hand. Her tiny hand fit mine like a glove.

"Hera?" I turned to her.

"Yeah?" She turns to me.

"Im glad i met you." She smirks and squeezes my hand. We stayed up all night looking at each other.

Heras POV

I woke up in Bens hut. I had my head on his chest, as he had his arm wrapped around me. I couldn't believe he kissed me. It was good. I liked it. I got out of his room and walked around like i always do every morning. I did my mediation, focusing on the force. I did that for a good hour, i was walking back to my hut, i heard sniffling. I started to investigate where it was coming from. I walked to a dark room and saw Ben.

"Ben?" I ran to his side. He had his knees to his chest, head in his arms. "Ben?" I touched his arm. He jumped. "Whats wrong?"

"Im hearing these voices. Repeating my name, they feel so-"

"Dark?" I finished. He looked at me, confused. "When Master Luke made us feel our force, i heard it." I sat next to him, grabbing his hand. "Im here Ben. Im not leaving you."

"I want them to stop."

"We'll stop them. Together." I gave him a small smile. I wiped his tear off and he smiled back. "You're okay Ben." He looked at me.

"I am now." He wrapped his fingers around mine. We sat there, not caring if anyone was looking for us. "Thank you Hera."

"Its okay Ben." I kissed his cheek. I put my head against his shoulder and just felt our presence.

"There you guys are." Jest, one of students, runs into the room. "training started 10 minutes ago, hurry." We quickly got up and ran to the training room. Luke was standing there, i know hes angry. Ben and I stood up straight and looked at Luke. The other kids looked mad.

"You both are late." Luke said as he didnt turn around to us. "If you both decide to pull this again, they're will be consequences." We both gulped. Luke slowly turns to us. "Partner up, But Ben and Hera are together." He huddled us up. "Since the both of you have this force connection, i want to test this out." He pulls out Bens lightsaber and gives it to him. "I want one of you to stay here and the other go far from the room, out to the village. I want the other to take that saber from the others hands just by thinking about it." That seems highly impossible. But if Master Luke says so.

"Good luck." Ben says to me as he walks away with the others.

"Same to you." We waited a couple of minutes to start.

"Now, think." Luke told us. I closed my eyes. I imagine Ben, out in the village.

"I see him." I said to Luke.

"Take the lightsaber Hera." I took a deep breath. I placed my hand on my back, just like Ben had his. I slowly moved my hand from my back and i felt Bens lightsaber in my hand. I opened my eyes to see blue light. Luke chuckled. Then the saber was gone within a second. Nobody could've done it, they were still struggling. We waited for Ben and the others to come back. "Im proud of you both." We smiled. "As for the others, work harder. If they did it, so can you." Everyone was grabbing there stuff.

"That was so cool!" I said to Ben.

"I cant believe we just did that." I hugged him. Ben froze a bit, maybe since everyone are still here. I quickly pushed myself off.

"Great job Solo." I stuck out my hand.

"Great job Dameron." He shook my hand. His touch, made me weak to my knees. We both walked away, Ben giving me a wink as I walked to Jules.

"Did you see that!" I pointed out to her. She just laughs.

"What happened last night?" I looked around, some students were around, but not close enough to hear.

"Okay, so we went on our walk. We were messing around with our lightsabers. I tripped over my foot, and he caught me."

"Keep going! What else!" She jumped with joy.

"We kissed and I stayed in his room." We both screamed. Everyone turned to look. My face turned red, but its not the time right now. "It felt so right! Like it was meant to be!"

"Oh Hera!" She cheered. "I knew it, he likes you."

"Jules, i think hes the one."
