Right now, "Falling" by Harry Styles was bursting through my headphones. It's currently 6:06 a.m and I'm out for a morning walk. If you even call it that. I needed some time alone with my thoughts. The music was doing an excellent job at blocking out the rest of the world around me as I took in my surroundings. My subconscious brought me back to the place I found a few days ago. I was lost in the forest and accidentally came across a small clearing with tall trees and large bushes surrounding the place. It led to a small cliff which overlooked the crystal blue waters. The wide coppiced trees did a perfect job at hiding the area, and for once I was glad that I'm bad with directions.

It had been a week since we had blown up that place. A week since Andy snapped at me. I know he didn't mean it and I know he needed space but still I couldn't bring myself to talk to him. In fact I hadn't talked to anyone since then. I have been ignoring all of them. They had been blowing up my phone with texts and phone calls. There were 58 missed calls and 108 texts from all of them. My phone buzzed every two minutes with a new text. As a result, I had kept my phone on airplane mode for the last two days. I knew they were worried and just wanted the best for me,but right now their sympathy is the last thing I needed. I sat down near the edge of the cliff and took off my headphones.

The clearing was actually a cliff,with flowers and patches of grass here and there. The cliff gave a perfect view of the ocean underneath, the rising sun causing the water to give away a dazzling glow.You could hear birds chirping in the background and the sound of waves crashing gave a different kind of vibe. It was peaceful. Might be the only peaceful place around here. I sighed,knowing I was about to be engulfed by the rush of thoughts in my head. And I let them take over.

I don't know for how long I zoned out. Events from the last few months flashed in my mind. At some point,I stood up pacing around.I was brought back to reality when I felt an arm around my waist. As an instant reflex,I threw a ghost-shadow kick. The person ducked that at the last minute.

" Woah easy princess," said a voice I knew by heart. " it's just me."

" Axel..." I trailed off, a little surprised with his sudden arrival.

" Aura." He said in a mocking tone.

I rolled my eyes and bit back a smile. " What are you doing here?"

" Oh hey Axel,how are you doing? Are you okay? How was the trip? It was great.Thanks for asking,Aura." He said sarcastically,in a high pitched girly voice,

" Okay I do not sound like that." I said,smacking him lightly in the chest. He grabs my hand and pulls me close.

" I missed you." he mumbles hugging me.

" I missed you too." I hug him back,placing my head on his chest. What? He's a 6 feet tallass! I hear his steady heartbeat and it calms me down. It's amazing really,how he just being here can make my day. He settles us down at the ground, pulling me into his lap. My back was flushed against his chest and I leaned into him. He places his chin on my head. We sit there for a while, a comforting silence surrounding us. He breaks the silence first.

" So tell me what's bothering you?"

" Nothing's bothering me." I mumble, trying to sit up. He pulls me back into him and a small smile crosses my lips.

" Aura,I know you. I know something's bothering you. It's okay. You don't have to tell me what it is. Just remember, I'm here okay? And if you want to talk I'll listen.I'm here and even if I'm not around I'm just a phone call away.I'll always be here.Always." God damn this boy for always knowing the right thing to say.

" Thank you." I say,honestly not knowing what I would do without him. I turn to look at him. His grey eyes never failed to mesmerise me. It suddenly is filled with the familiar mischievous glint. I shake my head at him.

" No Axel, Whatever you're thinking is not happening. "

" Aww please, just one kiss. You can show me your gratitude in that way." he says,pouting at me.

" No you weirdo." I say,chuckling lightly.

" Fine." he says, hurt and disappointment evident in his voice.

" Oh c'mon now don't be-" He shuts me up,crashing his lips into mine.I kissed him back,pulling away shortly after.

" How dare you!" I exclaim,not able to cover up my smile. I hit him at the shoulder.

" Oww... You know,stolen kisses are the key to an adventurous love,baby." He says.

" And since when do you know so much about love? " I deadpanned.

" SInce I started loving you."

My cheeks,being the traitor they are,start to heat up. I whip my head towards the ocean,fast. I was kinda surprised that it didn't fall off my head. But of course I sprained my neck,slightly. Cursing under my breath, I rub my neck,not so soothingly.

I glare at Axel and he raises his hands in mock surrender.

" C'mon let's go for a swim. " He says,standing up. He stretched his hand out towards me which I ignored. I dust myself off,standing up too.

" You first." He opens his jacket,socks and shoes,which leaves him in his tight v-neck and his jeans. He then proceeds to take off his pants when I jump on him,causing him to stumble back and fall.

" Nuh uh mister. They stay on." I say nonchalantly,leaving no room for argument.

" Okay,okay whatever you say. Now do you feel like getting off me,not that I mind ,so we can go for the swim?" He says smirking. I looked down and noticed that I was straddling him. I quickly jumped off him and cleared my throat while he doubled over in laughter.

" Stop laughing and not a single word to the others about this.." I say,glaring at him.

He pushes himself up,trying hard to contain his laughter.

" Seriously,stop laughing. You look like you're having constipation." I lied,straight through my teeth. He was actually looking super adorable but I would never admit it out loud. He instantly sobers up and starts towards me.

" I know you don't- " I cut him off.

" See you on the other side." I say,smirking before pushing him off the cliff. There was a loud splash and he resurfaced a few seconds later. I jump right after. The familiar rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins makes me grin.

"You're gonna pay for that,Seveyn." he says,after I resurfaced. The ice cold water sent shivers down my spine but it was the good kind. The water was soothing.

" You know pushing each other off cliffs is the key to an adventurous love,baby." I mocked him from earlier.

He gives me an amused look before swimming over to me. He goes under water halfway through. When he's close enough, he starts splashing water towards me. It takes me by surprise and I mentally facepalm myself, thinking I should have seen that coming. I regain my balance and start to attack him back. And ladies and gentlemen, that's how we started what seemed like a half an hour long water fight.

By the time we got back to his car, it was already 9 :38 a. m. Damn time really flies when I'm with this boy. Axel had spare towels and we quickly dried ourselves. When we got out of the water, we were both freezing to death. The cold breeze made things worse.

"C'mon princess, let's get some breakfast." he says, opening the door for me like the true gentleman he is,not.

I roll my eyes and climb inside. The very familiar scent and the comfort present makes me feel nostalgic. He climbs inside and drives us to "Palmora's Coffee House". The 15 minutes drive was filled with a comfortable silence. He kept one hand on the steering wheel while the other was intertwined with mine. Once we reached,he shut off the engine and jogged over to my side while I climbed out. We went inside,looking for an empty table. The delicious smell of freshly baked cookies engulfed me and I was instantly hungry,my stomach rumbling in response. I gripped Axel's wrist and dragged him over to the counter. He adjusted his hands so they were now firmly locked with mine. The small gesture spread warmth inside me. I tried to brush it off. Once we reached the counter, a brunette poked her head out and checked out Axel shamelessly.

I was used to this. Axel was attractive and I won't even try to deny it. His eyes were as grey as thick,prowling clouds in a thunderstorm or like fog on a winding road,blurring and muddling all your senses.It was hard to not get lost in them. He had a jawline that could probably cut diamonds. He was well built and let's not forget him having perfect muscles and abs. He was tall too. In other words, he was an eye candy. Next to him, I felt like an ugly,fat slob. But then again,when do I not?

The brunette must be new here because we were accustomed to Lindy,an middle aged single mother. She also happened to be one of the kindest and cheerful people i met. Her smile was contagious. I snap my fingers in front of the new girl,causing her to glance at me and frown.

"Hey welcome. What can I get you?" she said, directing her question more at Axel then me. She twirled the ends of her hair and batted her eyelashes flirtatiously at Axel. I roll my eyes before asking," Where's Lindy?" my tone coming out colder than I meant. Axel drapes an arm around my shoulders,pulling me close. The brunette glances at us again and frowns,then quickly replaces it with a fake smile.

" Lindy is on a break. She called in sick and my aunt,Palmora,told me to cover for her." I just nod at her and order our regular.

Once we find a place to sit,we stare at each other. Minutes pass. I finally break the silence.

" What?" I ask.

" Nothing." he replies ,taking my hand and rubbing his thumb across my palm soothingly.

" Tell me."

" When are you going to do the next mission?"

" Well,I have no idea. Flinch hasn't contacted us since or he might have,I don't know." I mumbled the last part,well aware it was my fault because I haven't talked to the others.

" When are you going to talk to them?You can't avoid them forever and you still haven't collected the money" he states.

" Yeah yeah I know I know,I'll probably call Scarly later today." I say.

" Okay."

Shortly after, our food and drinks arrive. We eat in a comfortable silence,making short conversations every now and then.

Once we are done,we argue over who will pay the bill and finally decide to split it. Once we get inside his car,I start to shiver slightly. He looks at me and chuckles while I glare at him. He reaches to the back seat and pulls out a neatly folded hoodie. It was my favourite one, full black with checkered sleeves and a 'abcdefuckoff' written on the front side. I smile at him and his gaze softens as he gives me one of his boyish grins. He starts the car and we ride in silence.

"So uh if you get married one day, where do you want it to be?" he says,after clearing his throat. My eyes widen at his question. Where did that come from?

"I'm not getting married. Marriage is nothing except papers. It's useless. And I think you know why I think that." He nods. He knew I had seen my fair share of broken families and divorces.

"But what about you? " I ask,hesitantly. I see a ghost of a smile play on his lips.

"Well if we ever get married, we would get married at night, outside under the open sky where we can see the stars." He says,scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. I smile knowing that would be perfect . Then something occurs to me.

"Wait we?" I ask,turning my body completely to face him.

" Yes we, Aura. You are a very important part of my life. I consider you in my future. Heck you are my future."He finishes, looking at me in disbelief as if I should have known that already.

I didn't blush.My cheeks just like looking like tomatoes too much.

STUPID.

I look away, not knowing what to say. Butterflies erupt in my stomach, making me feel funny. I poke my stomach, hoping they would stop.

He pulls over at the side of the road. He sighs, and gently turns my chin so now he was looking at me dead in the eyes. His grey eyes pierced through my soul. His gaze was too intense but I stared back at him,not backing down.

His lips quirk up slightly before he cups my face with one hand while the other trails down to my waist, burning my skin with his touch. A good type of burn.

He brushes his lips slightly against mine,while he whispers,

"Do you feel what I feel? The burning sensation? The electric jolts?The craving for more?"

His touch was very soft and light making me want to shiver. Heh as if that will ever happen. I know what he's doing.

Teasing me.

I smirk inwardly. Two can play this game.

So I leaned over, and just when he thought I was giving in to him, I moved past his lips and stopped at his ear.

"Boy you really want to know, don't you?"

Then as if I never was there, I move back, sitting comfortably in my seat while smirking at him.

"Drive." I say, amused. When he doesn't reply, I snap my fingers in front of his face.

"What?" he asks, completely dazed.

I burst out laughing. He groans.

"Ughhh why do you have to be so difficult?" he mumbles.

"You're stuck with me so deal with it." I say, shrugging.

His lips turn up into a smile. We drive in silence after that. That is until my phone rings. I look at the caller id and my heart drops to my stomach.

Oh god. Not him again.
