I look over at the clock. It has been 5 hours since Mabel had left. She probably skipped work to hang out with Candy and Grenda.

        The door bursts open. Mabel comes in she walks forward and puts the measuring tape on the table. She stared forward and starts to walk to the attic latter. I decide to stand beside the latter to confront Mabel about earlier.

         "Mabel! Why did you leave that picture of me on the counter for Wendy and Soos to laugh at me?" I yelled. She didn't answer. She just kept walking forward. "Did you hear me Mabel! You made me look like a fool! And why did you take so long to find Soos' tape measure?" But she didn't answer. She looked dazed. I lost my anger and became tired. Maybe Mabel will be better in the morning. I wonder what's wrong with Mabel?
