The whole group walked into the Mystery Shack talking and laughing. I noticed that the S from the Shack's sign was still on the ground. It was good to be home.

    When we came in Melody was working the counter. There were few people in the gift shop. She greeted us.

       "Hey! You guys are back! You don't have any evil robots with you are anything, right?" Melody said jokingly. We all laughed.

        "So how was California, dudes?" Soos asked.

         "It was fine, but its good to be back! Mabel and I have a full summer of mystery hunting ahead of us!" I proclaimed proudly.

         "Yeah! Maybe we will find that squash with a face!"  Mabel yelled in excitement.

           "You dudes should unpack. You guys will be sleeping in the attic." Soos said.

            Mabel sprinted to the ladder and climbed up as fast as possible. She fell the first time, but just got up and climbed it again. I went up second. The room looked the same as when we left. There were some broken pens under my bed from when I was trying to find out the author. There were googly eyes and glitter under Mabel's.

         "Hey Dip! Darrel is still molding up there!" Mabel pointed to the ceiling happily."Oh Dipper," Mabel gasped "I have found something amazing under the nightstand!" She squealed

         "What!" I said with excitement in my voice. "Is it a map, a secret letter, a gnome!" I yelled

       Mabel pulls out an object and hides it behind her back. "Feast you eyes on..."

       "No more games, Mabel! Show me!" I said excited as ever.

       "On your girlfriend!" She pulls out a pillow with Wendy's face on it. Mabel starts to laugh.

        I blush. Embarrassed as I have ever been in a long time. "Mabel! That's not funny!" I yelled "I am over Wendy!" My voice cracked.

        "Sure you are!" Mabel said sarcastically. "But your girlfriend won't be happy! And by the way Dipper, your voice cracks when your lying!" Mabel started to laugh again.

        I rolled my eyes. "Ha ha! Very funny Mabel. Come on. I have some money. Let's go to Greasy's Diner for some pancakes."

       And we were off to the diner.
