"And you couldn't have jumped out of the plane before you crashed it?"

Natasha found Clint Barton and brought him back to the Avengers facility while Rocket and Banner were successful at bringing Thor back. For the test run to make sure they would do this correctly, Clint volunteered to go back in time to test it, and when they knew that it would work their next mission was to find the stones and decide who was going to go get what stone.

"Okay, so the how works. Now we gotta figure out the when and the where." Steve said as they all saw the different screens of the different stones in the meeting room where the team that they put together was assembled. "Almost everyone in this room has had an encounter with at least one of the six Infinity Stones," Steve said.

"Or substitute the word 'encounter' for 'damn near been killed' by one of the six Infinity Stones," Tony said.

"Well, I haven't, but I don't even know what the hell you're all talking about," Scott said.

"Regardless, we only have enough Pym Particles for one round-trip each. And these stones have been in a lot of different places throughout history." Banner said.

"Our history. So, not a lot of convenient spots to just drop in, yeah?" Tony said.

"Which means we have to pick our targets," Katherine said.

"Correct," Tony said.

"So, let's start with the Aether. Thor... what do you know?" Steve asked. Thor was sitting in the corner with sunglasses on, and not moving at all.

"Is he asleep?" Natasha asked.

"No, no. I'm pretty sure he's dead." Rhodey said. Thor suddenly woke up, and he walked to the front of the room and that the Aether was on the screen.

"...-First the Aether is not a stone. Someone called it a stone. Um, it's more of an angry sludge sort of a thing... so someone's gonna need to amend that and stop saying that. Here's an interesting story, though, about the Aether. My grandfather, many many years ago... had to hide the stone from the Dark Elves. Ooh, scary beings." Thor said chuckling to himself. "So, Nikita, actually... well she's... I mean, she was... the Aether took hold inside of her and she became very, very sick. And so, I had to take her to Asgard, which is where I'm from... and we had to try and fix her. We were dating at the time, you see... and I got to introduce her to my mother... who's dead, and um... and now she's dead..." Thor trailed off and Katherine frowned as she walked to the front to come to help him sit down.

"It's okay, Thor... you don't have to talk about it, anymore. Let's go sit. You want breakfast or something?" Katherine asked as Tony walked up to try and help her get Thor back to his seat.

"No. I'll have a bloody Mary."

"Quill said he stole the Power Stone from Morag." Rocket was now explaining about the Power stone, as the Avengers were all assembled around the table with Chinese food and Rocket was standing on top of the table.

"Is that a person?" Banner asked Rocket.

"No, Morag's a planet. Quill was a person." Rocket corrected and Banner nodded his head.

"Like a planet, like in outer space?" Scott asked.

"Oh look. It's like a little puppy, all happy and everything." Rocket said ruffling some of Scott's hair, which made Katherine laugh. "Do you wanna go to space? Do you wanna go to space, puppy? I'll take you to space."

"Thanos found the Soul Stone on Vormir." It was now Nebula's turn to explain what she knew about the stones. Natasha was sitting next to Katherine on the couch and she was taking notes, and she and Katherine had been taking notes on all the stones.

"What is Vormir?" Natasha asked.

"A dominion of death... at the very center of celestial existence." Nebula said, which made Natasha and Katherine look. "It's where Thanos murdered my sister." Nebula said. Later on, Katherine would be very upset at Nebula for withholding information about Vormir, in the fact that she failed to mention that getting the stone requires a sacrifice. Scott Lang cleared his throat before speaking up.

"Not it."

"That time stone guy," Katherine said as she, Tony, and Natasha all laid on the table in their meeting room, while Banner was on the ground next to the table.

"Dr. Strange." Banner said.

"Yeah, what kind of doctor was he?" Natasha asked.

"Ear-nose-throat meets rabbit-from-hat," Tony said, which made Katherine laugh.

"Nice place in the Village, though." Banner said.

"Yeah, on Sullivan Street?" Tony said.

"Hmm... Bleecker Street." Banner said.

"Wait. He lived in New York?" Katherine asked, coming to the realization of something.

"Uh, yeah..." Banner said.

"No, no. He lived in Toronto. Have you been listening to anything?" Tony asked.

"Guys... if we pick the right year, there are three of the six stones in New York," Katherine said. Banner, Natasha, and Tony all came to the realization as Banner sat up from the pillow he was laying on.

"Shut the front door."

"So, what happened to the Tesseract after that?" Rhodey asked Katherine and Steve. They had explained everything about the forties, and Schmidt, and Zola, and Steve explained what happened when he went under ice.

"It's at the bottom of the ocean. It fell out of the plane after I had to crash it." Steve said.

"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask, why did you have to crash the plane, anyway?" Rhodey asked and Katherine looked at him.

"Thank you, Rhodey. I've wondered that for the last what? 80 something years now. I had plenty of time to get Tony's dad on the line, but he wouldn't let me." Katherine said rolling her eyes.

"But as Katherine knew, there were bombs on board," Steve said.

"Bombs on board," Rhodey repeated nodding his head, but then he still looked confused. "And you couldn't have jumped out of the plane before you crashed it?" He asked which made Katherine laugh a little while Steve looked at him contemplating his words and whether that would have been a valid option to take. 

"He makes a fair point, babe."

The Avengers were now all watching video footage from their battle in New York. On the screen right now were Katherine and Steve, double-teaming one of Loki's creatures. "How long did you fight these guys?" Rocket asked.

"About, uh... two or three hours," Natasha said.

"Hours? The Chitauri is the suckiest army in the galaxy. Why didn't you just blow up the mother ship?" Rocket asked.

"We didn't know that was a thing," Steve said. Rocket started to laugh, very hard as his next words came out of his mouth.

"You didn't know that was a thing?" He asked, continuing to laugh. "Everyone knows that. .-Hey!" He cut off when Tony was standing over him with an electronic shaver that he felt on the top of his head, which made everyone else laugh.

"There we go."

When everything had been settled, the Avengers all met up together once again, now that they knew where all the stones were. If they picked the right year, The Space Stone, The Mind Stone, and the Time Stone would all be in New York at the same time. The Reality Stone is on Asgard, the Power Stone on Morag, and the Soul Stone on Vormir.

Now they just needed to decide who was going where.

"Alright. We have a plan. Six stones, three teams, one shot." Steve said. The Avengers all changed into their quantum realm suits before making their way out to another part of the facility where their 'time machine' had been built. As they all mounded the platform, Steve Rogers was giving one of his motivational speeches.

"Five years ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your teams. You know your missions. Get the stones. Get them back. One round trip each. No mistakes, no do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. That doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives... and we're gonna win. Whatever it takes." Steve said. He and Tony only looked at each other with smiles on their faces as Steve finished off.

"Good luck." He said.

"He's pretty good at that." Rocket said.

"Right." Scott nodded in agreement.

"Alright. You heard the man. Stroke those keys, Jolly Green." Tony said and then Katherine and Steve looked at their daughter who was going to Asgard with Thor and Rocket. She said since the city was destroyed, she wanted to see it because she had always been curious about it.

"Honey... you do whatever Rocket and Thor tell you to, okay? Just be safe. We love you." Katherine said. Amaya nodded her head and hugged her parents.

"I love you guys too." She said with a smile. The teams were this.

Steve, Katherine, Banner, Tony, and Scott were all going to New York.

Natasha and Clint were going to Vormir after they dropped off Nebula and Rhodey in Morag, and finally.

Thor, Amaya, and Rocket were going to Asgard.

Natasha looked at Katherine and Steve, her two best friends and she smiled at them. "See you in a minute." She said, as they all put on their helmets and Katherine smiled at her.

"Can't wait," Katherine said while winking at her, but she had no idea.

That was the last time she would see Natasha.
