Taehyung walked out of the living room, leaving the others baffled and silent. Taehyung went up the stairs and to Jungkook's bedroom, but opened it and found it empty. He went to the lounge, and the balcony, and his own room. He tried looking for Jungkook but didn't find him.

Taehyung rushed down the stairs and to the basement, hoping the boy would be there. He heard loud gunshots coming from inside the gun training room and opened it in confusion.

There he found Jungkook, standing in the last lane, gun pointed up, loud bangs echoing through the room as empty bullets fell out of his gun. Jungkook looked pale, stricken, tears rushing down his face, arms practically shaking as he continued shooting, and shooting, and shooting-

"Jungkook?" Taehyung called, walking towards the boy. He was sure Jungkook heard him, but kept shooting, blocking out his senses.

Taehyung suddenly grabbed Jungkook's wrist, turning him towards him forcefully, snatching the gun out of his hand. Jungkook saw him through his blurry vision. Keep shooting. Keep shooting.

"Jungkook, mindlessly shooting away won't solve anything-" Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook shook his head.

"It will! You heard Yoongi, didn't you?" Jungkook wavered, trying to pull his hand back, but his wrist was tightly gripped by Taehyung's hand. "I'm incapable! T-they don't want me around, Tae! No one does! I-I should be the one at the hospital having to suffer through my mistakes! N-not Jimin," Jungkook cried, and Taehyung let go of his wrists.

The moment he did, Jungkook fell into his arms, and began crying softly into his shoulder. Taehyung wrapped his arms around him, holding him tightly. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry you had to face Yoongi lashing out at you. None of what he said was true, baby. None of it. Your ability of being able to snatch away a life does not equate to your capability as a person." Taehyung said, and Jungkook pulled away slightly, looking up st him.

"I-It does, Tae. If-if I can't kill someone, then what good am I? At least here. In-in this house. In my home. I-I try to love, and I try to be sweet and I try to make friends and I try and try but it never works." Jungkook said softly, lump in his throat.

"What good is my purity if I live in a house where your cruelty is what makes you a better man?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung shook his head.

"But you don't only live in this house. You live in this world. A world where the evil perish and the good flourish. It may not seem like that right now, baby, but someday it will." Taehyung said. "Shit, I don't know if Heaven or Hell exists, but if it does, Kook? Then we're all fucked, and you're not." Taehyung chuckled, and Jungkook let out a choked up giggle.

"They hate me, Taehyung. I-I don't want them to hate me. I don't care about being good if it gets me nowhere." Jungkook said sharply, and Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows/

"What do you mean?"

"I mean.. that I need to buck up and do what I was meant to do." Jungkook said. "I'm supposed to be the next Mafia leader. I'm supposed to be the next leader of the underworld. I need to be Hades, not Persephone. I can't will away my time in gardens and running off in the midst of flowers, because the fact is- I live in the underworld. But I wasn't abducted, I was born here. And my father isn't going to wait until I'm ready. He's going to push me into the fires and watch me burn if I don't find a way to float."

Taehyung opened his mouth to say something, but Jungkook stopped him. "I wanna be like you. You're not scared. You don't let your stupid emotions get in the way. You don't cry when someone upsets you, you kill them."

Taehyung's eyes were wide, stirred with puzzlement. "Kook, no. No- don't say this. You shouldn't be someone you're not. Baby- your 'stupid' emotions is what makes you who you are. Makes you so much lovable and-"

"I don't want to be lovable, Taehyung!" Jungkook snapped. "I want to be feared. And-and I want to make others cower and-a-and- I want to have others feel like how I feel when I see them." Jungkook said, and then looked away for a bit.

"I turned 18 a month ago, but frankly- it still feels like I'm 6 years old. I can't expect the others to not treat me like a baby when I act like one." Jungkook said.

"Kook-"

"Don't." Jungkook said. "I don't have a choice, Taehyung. I-I need to be like my father. I need to be like my brother. You say I have purity in me, I say that's bullshit. Every man born before me in my family is full of villainous vessels and criminal blood. I'm not different. I'm just stupid. And naive. And a child. I need to grow up and become like the rest of my family."

"Jungkook don't let what the others say get to you! No one wants to see you become a manifestation of your brother and father! They-they just want you to be strong- not-"

"Leave it, Taehyung! I know what I need to do." Jungkook snapped, and then brushed past him, walking out of the practice room.

Taehyung sighed, carding his fingers through his hair, feeling rather.. disappointed. But if Jungkook wants to change and feels that will make him feel better than so be it.

"Jungkook, we need to talk."

Jungkook felt his breath hitch, stomach tie up in knots. But then he remembered, don't fear- strong men don't fear. Jungkook sat up, turning his head towards his door.

"Yes?" Jungkook asked, looking at Namjoon standing at the doorway.

Namjoon walked in and then sat down beside Jungkook. "Yoongi's not here right now. He's gone to the hospital to visit Jimin. But.. he-he does feel bad for what he said to you. You should know, those words came from a place of anger, not-"

"It's alright." Jungkook cut him off, looking at the wall in front of him. "I know he meant it." Jungkook said softly, and Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows.

Jungkook slowly turned to look at Namjoon. "I know you think I'm incapable of doing what you do and I cry at everything. A-and I'm sorry. I don't want to be that way either."

"No, listen Jungkook. Taehyung told us something that kind of made me think. You're not at fault here, Kookie. We are. For constantly shielding you from everything until you were too old to figure things out for yourself."

Jungkook chuckled lightly. "Maybe. Maybe it is your fault." Jungkook said, and then looked at Namjoon. "But I can still change, Namjoon. I can become exactly who you all want me to be. I can be stronger, and-and like my brother."

"None of us want you to be like him, baby."

"Don't call me that." Jungkook snapped, and Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm not a baby anymore, Joon. And frankly. I don't give a shit if you don't want me to be like my brother." Jungkook snarked, and Namjoon just looked more confused. Jungkook stood up, facing him.

"Tell me what to do. Tell me who to kill. I'll do it. I'll do it right now. I was born with unloaded guns but I will put the bullets in them if it means I can stop being a burden to the rest of you." Jungkook let out, and Namjoon finally stood up as well, gripping Jungkook's wrist.

"You are not a burden to us, Jungkook."

"Stop lying to yourself." Jungkook whispered. "You don't want me around. You rather me be dead." Jungkook continued, and Namjoon shook his head, looking shocked by Jungkook's statements.

"Are you out of your mind?! You being safe is my first fucking priority."

"Only because it has to be. Please, Namjoon. I'm begging you. Let me try once more." Jungkook breathed out, and Namjoon looked at him in uncertainty, and then suddenly the walkie talkie he always has with him let out a static noise.

"This is from the front gate- there is an intruder at the- she-she's shooting- b-back up-" The voice broke, and then there was just a beeping line.

"You want to help out, Kook?" Namjoon asked, taking out a gun from his hoister and then putting it into Jungkook's palms. "Do it."

Jungkook nodded, gripping the gun tightly. Be like your father. Be like your brother. Be like everyone else. Don't be Jungkook.

Jungkook is weak. You can't be weak.

Jungkook rushed out of the room, following Namjoon. The main doors burst open, and Jungkook saw the bloody body being dragged in by a girl with fire red hair and crimson anger in her eyes.

"It's one of those girls from Dark Velvet," Namjoon whispered into his walkie talkie, and Jungkook crouched behind the stairs along with Namjoon, guns up. Jungkook also saw Taehyung standing behind a pillar.

"Where the fuck are all of you? Think you can come into my house and kill everyone and I won't do the same?!" She shouted, and Jungkook could hear the slight slur of her words and the intoxication in her movement. She was drunk, or high, or possible both. Probably hungry for revenge after witnessing the death of her sisters.

"Taehyung, go in on my command." Namjoon whispered into the device, and Taehyung stood straight, getting ready. "Three, two-"

Don't. Be. Weak.

Jungkook suddenly stood up and then ran for the stairs, hearing Namjoon let out a "No-". Jungkook grabbed a vase sitting on one of the side tables and flung it across the air from the steps, making it land on the right side of the woman.

The woman turned her head, shooting straight at the noise. Jungkook took her distraction and ran up to her- and before she could even turn around, shot her in the back of the head.

Taehyung's eyes widened and Namjoon's mouth fell. Jungkook saw with darkened eyes as she fell onto her front, a gaping bloody hole in the back of her head. Jungkook looked straight ahead, where the smoke left the barrel of his gun.

"Well- um- situation cleared, I guess." Taehyung said, walking out from behind the pillar.

"Hoseok, go check outside and lock the gates." Namjoon said into the walkie talkie.

Namjoon walked down the stairs, still holding the gun. Jungkook let his arms down finally, and then turned and saw Namjoon, Taehyung, Jin, and Hoseok rush up to him. Jin knelt down to check the body, while Hoseok rushed out to lock the gates.

"Someone should clean that up." Jungkook stated, placing the gun back in his hoister. The three boys still there looked at him. Namjoon just snickered.

"Well.. damn. Good job, Jungkook. You.. dealt with the situation quite well." Namjoon said, and Jin stood up.

"You could've gotten hurt-" Jin stated.

"But I didn't." Jungkook snapped, and then reached for his shirt and rolled his sleeves up, pushing them till his elbows. "That's what I'm gonna do here on after. Not disappoint you." Jungkook said, and then Taehyung stepped forward.

He grabbed Jungkook by the back of his shirt and pushed him up the stairs, walking behind him, footsteps loud. When they reached the top of the stairs, Jungkook pulled away.

"What?" Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung cocked an eyebrow.

"You're acting weird-"

"No I'm not." Jungkook said, stepping closer to him. "I'm acting like how I want to act." Jungkook whispered lowly.

"Kook-"

"Shut up, Taehyung." Jungkook growled, and Taehyung's eyebrows rose. "You know you like how I am right now. Stop pretending like you don't-"

"Who said I did?" Taehyung asked, so Jungkook grabbed Taehyung by the wrist and then dragged him into his bedroom, pushing him in and then slamming the door shut behind him, locking the door.

Jungkook walked forward and then pushed Taehyung onto the bed, climbing atop of him. "You want me to fuck you right now," Jungkook whispered, straddling Taehyung.

Taehyung stayed silent, so Jungkook began kissing his jaw. "Don't you? Don't you want me to dominate you a little, Tae? Be a little rough? Fuck you senseless?"

Jungkook suddenly felt Taehyung grip Jungkook's shirt and push his chest back so he could face him. Jungkook felt a knot in his stomach when he saw Taehyung's blackened irises and bedimmed expression.

"I won't have you talking to me like that, doll." Taehyung growled, and Jungkook leaned back a little.

"The fact that you even think you could fuck me senseless makes me laugh." Taehyung continued, moving his hands down to grip Jungkook's waist tightly. Jungkook gulped, looking down.

"Look at me when I talk to you-" Taehyung snapped, so Jungkook looked up, eyes turning a little big. "Now tell me what you actually want to do. And don't try and act smart, baby."

Jungkook licked his lips, feeling a strong hand on his thigh. "I-I don't want anything-"

"It'll be easier if you stop looking at me with those apple eyes of yours and just spit it out, princess. Lying isn't a good look for you."

Jungkook frowned slightly, but felt something twitch in his stomach. Jungkook opened his mouth, but then closed it.

Jungkook turned his head slightly, so Taehyung grabbed his waist and flipped him over, pinning him into the mattress. He sandwiched his knee between Jungkook's thighs, and Jungkook let out a soft whine.

"Tell me, baby. Let it out." Taehyung husked into his ear, and then Jungkook lost it, arching his back.

"W-want you to fuck me~ god, want you to fill me up till I-I can't take it anymore, Taehyungie- f-fuck- be-be rough and stuff me with your cock- please-" Jungkook let out, and Taehyung smirked.

"Thought so, dollie." Taehyung whispered, and Jungkook finally looked up at him, that same innocence returning to his face.

"Don't try and be someone you're not, Jungkook. I can see it makes you uncomfortable." Taehyung whispered, and Jungkook blinked lightly.

"D-didn't want to kill her, Taehyung. Th-that was scary." Jungkook said, and Taehyung's eyes softened as Jungkook reached forward to grab the man's shirt, wrapping his legs around his waist. "I-I-I can't- Tae- I don't know how you do it- I don't know how you guys can just kill people a-and not think about it. I tried pretending like it was fine b-but I'm scared." Jungkook squeaked.

"I know, baby. As much as you want- you're not your brother and your father. And as far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing."

Jungkook looked up through his lashes. "I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier. I even yelled at Namjoon. I was just.. I feel so fucking useless sometimes, Tae. I feel like if I killed myself no one would care."

"Shut up." Taehyung said, and Jungkook widened his eyes. "You're wrong. You've never been more wrong. You are the sweetest, purest, prettiest little thing I've ever seen. You deserve nothing but the world, Kook. Someone to love you and tell you you're perfect. You just did so well down there. Everyone is proud of you." Taehyung whispered, brushing their noses together.

"I do have someone to love me. You." Jungkook squeaked, and Taehyung smiled softly. "I-I guess you do."

Taehyung leaned down and pressed their lips together, moving their tongues ever so softly against one another. They pulled away after a few seconds, looking at each other.

"Do you wanna go at it right now?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook sighed, letting his arms fall by the sides of his head.

"I dunno.. It's been a long day.. a-and I guess I wanna do it sometime when I'm more ready, y'know?" Jungkook said, and Taehyung smiled.

"Yeah. I get it. That's perfectly fine, baby. Let's still make out, though?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook giggled, nodding.

Before pressing their lips back together, Jungkook looked up at him, lashes fluttering against Taehyung's. "You're so pretty, dollie." Taehyung whispered, placing a small kiss on Jungkook's nose.

"D-Dollie?" Jungkook squeaked, fingers playing with Taehyung's shirt.

Taehyung smiled fondly, nudging his nose against Jungkook's. "Yeah. My dollie."
