I was stood in the middle of a dark yet crowded room. I was wearing my normal clothes. Normal clothes being a shirt, tie, blazer and smart trousers. This was not what I had expected when they said tirals , nor did I expect for it to be this quickly prepared. After what happened at the old house yesterday, I took Maddox back to his home. It had been rather emotional and relaxign saying goodbye to him on his door step. That was until his mother opened the door and gave me a large hug. Apparently she had been watching from out the living room window for us and she saw our intwined hands. I am pretty sure my cheeks still retained a little bit of the blush from that experience a full dy later.

The room looked like a lecture room , except make it one hundred times bigger and one thousand times mroe intense. Alviva stood at the front in some sort of box, her hair was frizzy and her eyes were wild. Her hands and feet were bound by a thick black rope that looked to almost slither on her wrists and ankles. Emily stood at what seemed to be a sort of podium along with an elderly man . He had shoulder length gray hair and he seemed to have an air of autority . This man was the judge who decided Alviva's fate .

Amity and Alaric were on the row below us. Amity was wearing a formal black dress and Alaric was wearing hsi smartest hoodie and jeans. They did look rather out of place here . Their pressence was just as important as my own, perhaps even mroe so. I am assuming that we are playing as evidance in this whole debate, I'm not sure if we would be enough in the whole scheme of things. Sure she cursed two humans and that's against their beliefs but i'm not sure how serious that is as a crime.

Though I didn't want him to be here, Maddox sat beside me. Honestly I was happy that he was here, it was comforting . What I did not want was for him to get panicked or overwhelmed by the situation. Though he seemed to be doing rather the opposite. He was looking eagerly around the place as he was surrounded by witches. He kept asking people , of course when we were outside and before the actual meeting, what kind of jewellry they were wearing or what perfume they had on . Maddox had hardly stopped speaking about different spells that he had learnt from Emily's book. I didn't mind what so ever, he was happy and enjoyed telling em about them and I enjoyed listening to him talk.

At the moment Maddox was sat next to me and we had our hands linked once again. My hair was tied back from my face and i really wanted to reach up and mess with it, Maddox could tell. Every few minutes his thinb would rub my handcomfortingly as he listened on with eager ears. We were surrounded by many witches in smart attire to fit their occupation . This was very much like a normal court room ...except add an air of magic.

"Miss Alviva, you have been charged with several accounts of going against the natural laws of nature for personal gain. what do you have to say for yourself?" the judge interrogated with a very stern stare, I would honestly be quaking if i was in Alviva's position. I culd feel his power from where I was sat and it made me want to shrink down in my seat and not be noticed. Contrary to my reaction, Maddox leaned forward with interest and wide eyes, I don't really blame him though...he probably couldn't see a thing that was happening.

Alviva tipped her ehad to the side, though her trembling shoulders did show that infact she was scared of the man before her. "I did nothing agaisnt the laws , I just bended them for my benefit..." She snarkly replied in a somewhat trembling voice. Even though she was acting very brave , her body language was giving away exactly what was going through her head. She was scared of what the end result would be.

The judge cleared hsi throat before a stack of papers started to float his way before he grabbed the first one. "It says here ma'am that you not only used your magic to lure humans to do your bidding but you caused extreme or fatal harm to some. Not incuding cursing a fair few, two of them being here today. How does this support your claims of innosence?" I was rather scared to hear the fact that Alviva had harmed mroe people then just myself and Alaric. Althught that should not have been at all surprising. If i consider what I had witnessed her doing to wilfred at such a young age ....She could have done plenty of things that I would not know about.

Alviva stayed silent but bowed her head somewhat in submission . She knew that she wasn't going to win this argument with all the accusations placed against her . "Well then-" The judge started before he gestured in our direction "This still needs to be structured like a proper case, despite the various....crimes that were committed by the accused. Bring forth the evidance." I would have frozen in my seat had Maddox not stood up and patiently waited for me to stand up myself. Before I had met Maddox I hadn't realized how much of a coward I was , I constantly freeze int he face of danger.

I slowly stood up, still holding Maddox's hand, and i walked towards the posium where Emily stood. I avoided looking in Alviva's direction though i could feel her stare. Alaric was looking her right in the eyes as he stepped down infront of me , I know this as his head twisted in the direction when it owuld make no sense to be. Amity had her head down , I don't know if it was fear that her mother would be glaring at her or if she was somewhat ashamed of being her daughter.

I feel really bad for her at this moment. Sure she was mean and she hurt Maddox, whcih i still haven't forgiven her for, but she just wanted to fidn love. It was somewhat bitter as her mother wanted love and power and so did she. Though Amity never commited any magical crimes to harm us , she was cruel but she never involved any magic or anything that we couldn't handle...... Though saying that i still wanna punch her for harming Maddox.

"Presenting Chester Allerton, Maddox Miller, Amity Looticedale and Alaric ...I'm sorry but i'm not saying your last name "Emily started to introduce us, the last bit caused Alaric to look rather disgruntled and cross his arms. "These people are victim to Alviva's curses." Emily almost proudly wrapped an arm around Maddox, I couldn't tell if it was to stop him forom shaking and being unbalanced or if it was to present him clearer.

The judge's eyes turned from stone cold to relativly warm as he took in Maddox. Maddox seemed very out of place here and it showed. Most of the people here were very experienced and fromw aht I could see they were all very serious. Maddox was like a breath of fresh air with hs bright smile and his eager face. The same warmth was in his eyes from Maddox to Amity. He started to speak in a gentle tone "Now May I please have permission to recover the evidance that is necessary for this case?" He asked our permission but our eyes went straight to Emily who nodded encouragingly .

We all nodded slowly or made other moves of approval. What happened next was very odd. It was like a television screen or a projector had appeared on the wallm the projector was showing memories, several memories of our lives and time together. I saw young Alaric running in the feild, I saw a young Amity crying in front of her mother, I saw the moment when Alviva cursed me and i saw the attempted spell that she tried to put on Maddox. After all the flashing images and videos were over , I felt like I had known the three people around me all our lives. I felt like we were closer then ever.

The judge looked ...furious, it wasn't a face that you would normally see on a judge . It was a look of outrage. He turned with fire in his eyes towards Alviva who was as pale as a ghost . Alviva's eyes were wide with shock and panic. Her mouth was moving in a 'no' shape but no sound was coming out. She started attempting to struggle but it was fruitless.

"Sir please." Emily started before anything more could happen "Maddox is beginning to become overwhelmed , could you please say all that you need to the evidance before they leave?" This was true, Maddox was rocking back and forth on his heals and trying to avoid looking in one place for too long. He may find it interesting here but that didn't eman that he wasn't anxious.

The judge's eyes softened once more "Yes yes of course." He started before looking at me "I shall start with chester, then you two may leave as we discuss further...We are somewhat able to lfit the curse. If that is what you wish?" This was ...an offer...I immediatly wanted to say yes because that is exactly what I wanted. I wanted thsi curse lifted . What will ti do though? will Maddox magically have his eye-sight? or will I lose my interest in Maddox? i would like to think that i love him for him and not the curse, it is tempting-

"No" Maddox interrupted before turning to me "I now know everythign about this curse and i would be happy to say that it doesn't need lifted. We will get through this together Chester." My eyes started to tear up at the determination in his voice and face "I love you and with each and every milestone in our relationship we will get closer to beign together, for the rest of our lives. you are the one i want to spend my eternity with."

Once Maddox finished his sentance I pulled him into a swift kiss before grabbing hsi arm and pulling him outside . After saying a polite goodbye and thank you to the judge. We exited the mainly glass building and sat on the seats outside . I didn't really want to know the sentance that Alviva would face, I had my sense of closure . I could spend the rest of my life with Maddox and that is all I cared about. Though it did satisfy me to see the Massive, almost insane looking, grin on Alaric's face when he exited the house with a slightly smiling Amity.

"Peace and joy has been restored my friends. time to celebrate and live a happy life."
