We've only been fighting for about twenty minutes, but Minhyung and I are already exhausted.

It's impossible to believe how strong this guy is. And I just know that Wonho will be much worse.

"Such feeble princes. You two are the weakest princes of Pride and Wrath that I've faced thus far. Your defeat is inevitable. Your generation ends here"

Shownu mocked us, giving us a chance to catch our breathe.

"Oh just shut up..."

"It's your defeat that's inevitable... We're ending this here, and then we're going after your master..."

We insisted, refusing to give up.

"We'll see about that. You'll only make it out of here if you defeat me. Let's see if you're worthy enough to make it out alive"

Minhyung suddenly turned around and summoned his shield to protect us from something.

As soon as he did, Shownu's kagune pierced right through the shield, but dislodged itself soon after. His kagune simply returned to him and wrapped itself around his leg, much like a prehensile tail.

He just tried to assassinate Minhyung!

"I'm impressed. Not even the second prince of Pride was as skilled and as quick as you. Jackson was his name, if I remember correctly. I guess the new generation has more tricks up their sleeve"

That's an odd thing for him to say..

"Jackson..?"

"What do you mean by that..?"

We asked, and he simply smirked.

"I'm the one who assassinated Jackson all those years ago. The fool never stood a chance against me. If he was truly one of the princes like he proclaimed to be, he would've made it as far as the first set of princes. Namjoon was exceptionally crafty and strong, much like you. But in the end, he met his fate. and so did Jackson"

The more he continued to cockily monologue to himself, the angrier it made us.

He has the nerve to talk about Jackson like that, when all of his other teammates are already defeated? Jackson was just as much a prince as Namjoon and Minhyung. Even if he didn't see Shownu's attack coming, that doesn't mean he wasn't the best prince of Pride that he could be.

"That's it Shownu..."

"You're going to fucking pay, with your life.."

Just as we suspected, the gold and red beads on our bracelets began to glow.

But the room suddenly got dark, and time seemed to freeze, since Shownu had finally stopped talking and wasn't moving.

"Such insolence"

"Just wait until Renjun gets his hands on you.."

"You're the one who cheated"

"Jackson was an amazing prince. You and your master are cowards"

We looked back to find Jimin, Jinyoung, Jackson, and Namjoon behind us, all four of them with overall disturbed looks on their faces.

They were all floating off of the ground, two with a gold smoke around them, the other two with a crimson smoke around them.

"It's so nice to be able to end this asshole with all of you"

"But just how are you guys going to help?"

Minhyung inquired.

"Jimin and I can merge together to form a being known as the Resentful Wolf. Its main ability is to create flames that only harms ghouls, and keeps them alive to torture them"

"Jackson and I can merge together to form a being known as the Boastful Lion. Its main ability is to emit an ear piercing roar that only harms ghouls"

"That sounds perfect"

"Let's get started then"

Jimin and Jinyoung held hands, and Namjoon and Jackson did the same. They then shifted into a huge lion with wings, and a huge wolf with a singular horn.

They both continued to grow in size, but they stopped when they towered over us just a little bit.

"Expire"

"Vanish"

We both have them the word to attack without a second thought, and everything returned to normal before they attacked.

The Lion let out an ear piercing roar that only had an impact on Shownu, making him cover his ears. The Wolf then proceeded to surround and ignite him in flames that only harmed him.

Shownu tried putting the flames out, but it was a useless effort.

"First Sin Summoning... Blade of Hubris"

Minhyung summoned one of his most unique weapons, so I decided to follow suit.

"Fifth Sin Summoning... Vexation Sword"

Just like Minhyung, I summoned a sword of my own.

"Damn you... I'll fucking kill you both!!"

Shownu ignored the flames and tried using his kangune against us again, but the Lion and Wolf prevented that from happening.

Instead of using two different techniques, Minhyung and I decided to combine the power of our sins to create a brand new technique.

"First and Fifth Sin Technique..."

"Strike of Malicious Contempt!"

In a flash, we both flew through the Wolf's flames and struck Shownu down with one quick slash of our blades.

In a matter of seconds, he went completely limp and fell to his knees has he disintegrated into dust.

"...Six down. May the Sins be with you..."

He warned us before his remains flowed out the way he came in.

As we got rid of our weapons, the room went dark and time froze again. Jimin, Jinyoung, Jackson, and Namjoon changed back to normal as well.

"You two did so well~"

"That was simply incredible"

"That was so genius combining the power of your sins like that!"

"You two make an incredible team. Wonho doesn't stand a chance"

They all continued to praise us, smiles littered on each of their faces.

"We'll definitely beat him. It may be hard, but we will"

"You guys should take a break for now though"

They all nodded, and bid their temporary goodbyes before they faded away.

The beads then stopped glowing, and everything returned to normal once again.

"That should be all of his lackeys. Now we just need to take down Wonho"

"Let's head back to the others and give them the good news then"

We wasted no time and changed into our Oni forms before we flew off to return to the safe zone.

All of the surrounding globes have been powered down and destroyed now. This next battle will be the last.
