Chapter four
~Y/N POV~
Now that the wild cat hybrid was all patched up and checked. I had to pull up a file over by the counter and fill it out with his health conditions and medical treatment so far.
Writing in the file, bent over the counter top I scribbled away as I continued to ignore the stares of every hybrid in the room.
The first hybrid is okay health wise and will heal in no time. Now it's the other two that I have to have checked but I may need some help. I can't just keep doing this by myself.
I looked up and across the room to the window that shows out the room to the corridor just to see that Jin was still there looking in as well as Hoseok. It seems that Namjoon, Minji and Yoongi were gone.
Jin smiled at me while my brother waved happily. I waved back to both of them smiling but then turned over my shoulder to the other hybrids that were now standing by the wild cat Hybrid whispering to one another. It's kind of hard to hear what they're saying or their voices properly anyway.
The bunny was the first to notice me watching them and suddenly stopped whispering to glare back at me. This made the other two different turn their heads to look at me.
"Could I ask one thing?"
The wolf hybrid nodded and fully turned around to face me dead on.
"Could I bring my friend in to help me please? He won't hurt you and I think I'll need some help. It's a lot of work just for me as one person to treat all three of you."
As if in sync all three turned heads to the direction of both Jin and Hoseok at the window. The bunny rolled his eyes and sat on the bed in a huff but winced in pain just to clutch his side. I carefully yet quickly walked over to him to check it out. Surprisingly he didn't try to stop me or move away when I reached for his black T-shirt to pull up and see his wounds that reached around from his back to his front.
From what I could see it was nasty deep cuts, slashes actually and they needed stitching and that's something that Jin can do much better than myself.
"I'm afraid these need stitches. They look pretty deep. My friend could do these a lot better than I can so, could he come in? I promise he won't do anything you don't want him to."
I made sure to look deep into the bunny's eyes, asking permission for this. He needs it and Jin can help him with that. I don't know how long we stayed that way but eventually he grunted and nodded lazily.
"Great. I'll go get him okay?"
He nodded again and I skipped over to the door and opened it up to the two shocked men standing close by.
"Jin? I need you to give the bunny stitches from his torso and side. They're quite deep and he needs them done quickly."
"Seriously? He's not going to choke me again is he?" Jin
I laughed lightly and shook my head.
"No he won't do it again. Just come in here and help me with you?"
Jin groaned and yet nodded, coming forward towards me and entered the room slowly yet alerted.
"You do the bunny and I'll do the wolf. The wild cat is all done and treated. Everything you need is just over there...."
I pointed to the counter with all the supplies that I already pulled out earlier and then continued talking.
"You might as well treat his cheek and ear too..."
A sudden cough came from the bunny and he started to shake his head when that was mentioned and pointed at me.
"You want me to do your ear?"
I pointed to my chest and he nodded a response and shyly looked down to the floor after. It seemed his fiends were on the verge of laughing at him by bitin g their lips or trying to look anywhere in the room other than him. This made the bunny glare at the two of them.
"Okay I'll do you ear then."
"So I'll treat his back and torso and his cheek and you do the wolf then? Yes?" Jin
He asked for clear confirmation while at the same time he walked over to the supplies on the counter.
"Yes that's right."
I followed him and grabbed some more supplies to clean up the wolf hybrids face and then I could check his hand.
Jin and I both set out in our jobs. He went to the bunny who was quite tense and bothered at first to have Jin touching and standing so close to him and every now and then growl and glare at Jin with so much hatred that it looked like he wanted to kill him but didn't. In fact he took the pain rather well while Jin stitched him up after removing his T-shirt.
That was all while I tended to the wolf hybrid patiently waiting and sitting on the bed next to the other all ready treated hybrid.
With every move I made in cleaning up the cut on his cheek and lip he watched me carefully, even the wild cat hybrid sat beside him watch me too. To have the two of them watching me felt intimidating but I tried my hardest to not pay much attention it.
"Are you hurt anywhere else?"
The wolf shook his head and I felt relieved.
I glanced over to Jin and the bunny just to see Jin was still cleaning up and bandaging up his cuts. He had a lot of them.
"Jin I need to take the wolf to the X-ray to have his hand scanned. I'll be right back."
I whispered to him and he nodded, not taking his eyes off the bandage he was sticking to the skin of the bunny.
"Right, erm...could you follow me? I need to get an X-ray done on your hand to check if it's broken."
The wolf didnt argue but nodded, sliding off bed and follows me out the room quietly. The other two hybrids didn't react to him following me out the room which was a relief since I was worried that they would kick off because one of them was going somewhere alone with me but no. No reaction thank god.
I took him a few doors down, getting him to angle his hand under the machine and I had strolled over to the computer behind the protective screen just to take a few pictures and have a look at them myself there and then.
It wasn't broke but the bone around his wrist was fractured. So he'll need a cast on it but because of how fast hybrids heal it'll only need to be kept in for about two weeks or less.
After coming to a conclusion to what is wrong I guided the hybrid back to the room Jin was finishing up with the bunny and the wild cat hybrid was still in the same seated position on his bed watching Jin.
I sat the wolf down on the bed back next to the wild cat and then explained to him what was going on.
"Okay in the X-ray it's not broken but your wrist is fractured. Meaning the bone is cracked."
I paused for a moment and the wolf nodded in understanding so I carried on.
"You'll need a cast on it to allow it to heal better and securely. It depends on how fast you heal but I think no more than two weeks and you'll be just fine."
I gulped and turned around to Jin again seeing Jin now standing across the room, writing notes in a file that I can only assume are the bunny's.
"Jin! Can you put a cast on this guy please and I'll do the bunny's ear."
A snicker came from the wild cat and I turned back to look at him just to see the wolf nudge him by the elbow shaking his head at him. The wild cat glanced down to his feet but was smiling slightly too.
"Sure I can do that." Jin
"Thanks."
I spoke back to walk over to Jin as he started to pull out everything he needed to make the cast.
"It's just a fracture yes?" Jin
"Yes on his right."
Jin hummed and I wrote some more information on the wolf in his file. Mentioned of his cleaned up cut and lip and now the condition of his hand but only to mention it's not his hand it's his wrist and to note the process of his treatment for it.
After I had done that I grabbed some more antiseptic wipes since the wound on his bunny ear didn't look like it needed stitches it looked more like a clean cut nothing more.
But I bet for him it hurts.
Jin was now over in front of the wolf and wild cat busy with what he needed to do. I took what I needed and wondered over to the bunny. His eyes followed my every move also but said nothing.
I set out the wipes, pulling some out of the packet but dapped them in some sterilised water that I poured out into a small basin to help clean some dried blood off him.
Slowly I reached up to his injured ear, slowly to dap the wipe on to his ear wiping the dried blood first. Instinctively he flinched when I first touched his ear but calmed down within seconds.
I cleaned around the wound first, gently holding his ear up straight to get better access. He was actually enjoying it somehow, his leg started to shake rapidly and he even purred at one point leaning into my touch.
It confused me but I didn't pay attention to it. If he's comfortable then that's what matters.
Although he hissed when I finally started to clean the wound itself but luckily he was okay and allowed me to continue until it was all done.
I cleaned up the dirty wipes and threw them away and also to pour out the small basin of water I used in the sink in the room.
Jin was just finishing up with the cast around the wolfs wrist.
Now it was just getting these three hybrids into their new room. It's gonna be some time before they're adopted or something but honestly I just wanted to hear them talk. But obviously they don't trust any of us to talk.
I hope they start to trust soon though, these three are definitely an interesting lot.
