As they got closer prime started shooting them, most went down, and some he shot kept moving while he and ratchet moved back "Optimus, if our combatants are already deceased, how can we possibly defeat them?" Ratchet asked

"Ratchet, retreat! Bridge yourself back to base base." Prime ordered, ratchet activated some blades in his arms

"No, I shall stand with you, Optimus. You may require a medic when this is over with." Ratchet movies formats and sliced one down, Another tried a sneak attack, but he sliced them too, he saw what happened when doing so, the arm disabled when it was cut from its host "I recommend dissection. The smaller the pieces, the better. "

"Sound advice, old friend." Prime replaced his guns for his swords and both him and ratchet began slicing the dead cypertronians, prime took a glance up at megatron

" I have mastered Dark Energon. When you fall, Optimus, you too shall join my army." Prime just glared and when balc to assisting ratchet

Meanwhile

The cons started shooting at the three, they ran in different directions, except melody who was deflecting the shots with her energy hands

Bulkhead pulled up in his vehicle mode. "Get in now!" he ordered.

They dived into the front; Melody was in the driver's seat with Raf in her lap and Jack besides her, Bulkhead sped off avoiding gunfire. "Thanks Bulkhead." Jack said relieved. "Yeah thanks!" added Raf. "Wh-what are you doing here?" Bulkhead said in disbelief

"the pig tail girl somehow able to follow you, they came out here to bring her back which is a stupid idea." Melody said. "ha-have you seen her?" Jack asked in a worried tone."What she look like?" Miko said casually as she popped up from the backseats.

Bulkhead then drove them behind a huge rock for shelter, "everyone out" he ordered. Jack got out, followed by melody, then Raf.

"And this time, please wait here!" he said as he drove off towards the decepticon vessel.

After they watched him for so long and they had got behind cover melody looked over Jack, Raf and... "Miko's still in the backseat!"

"H-How do we tell Bulkhead?" Raf asked in an almost squeak.

Melody then peeked behind the rock; Bulkhead was looking their way so she motioned to him that someone was missing! Melody read his words as "where's Miko?" then he stood still for a while, when she squinted her eyes he was looking down then his chest plates open...he found her, she gasped when she was let out "Miko?"

"I heaved on your floor mats. Sorry." She groaned, he lifted her out and as soon as she touched the floor, she collapsed panting and gasping "Remind me never to do that again." He tried to help but suddenly a con tackled him

Which he crushed, a trap door suddenly opens behind Miko and there were two cons, one tried to grab her but she moved, also bulk head shot the con while rubbing towards Miko

More appeared and Miko claw er into a ball, trying to sword gettti g shot, bulkhead then ripped One of the antenna's and threw it at the cons

As soon as it was clear, he picked up Miko, but once again more showed up, his optics then spotted the trapdoor and he ran for it

Back on the ground

"Think they forgot about us?"He said worriedly. Melody was about to say something when her hair underneath her hood glowed again without the two boys noticing, meaning she sense danger from behind.

She turned around to see two Decepticons that lingered behind them. "Scrap!"She said that caught the boys attention.

One of them grabbed her and the other grabbed Jack and Raf.

She wanted to use her power but she can't let the boys know as she struggle to free herself " you've got to be! Kidding...me!" She grunted

On the ship

Bulkhead runs through the empty halls, while carrying miko, Who covered her mouth to avoid throwing up

Two cons appeared ahead about to be passing when they noticed the two, bulkhead slide miko pass them which distracted them enough for him to take them down "I'm gonna heave again." Miko groaned as bulk picked her back up and started running down the hall once again

With the others

The three were being carried through the ship by the two cons that caught them

"Bring them to the brig. Commander Starscream is keeping the other human there"one of them said

That's when melody's eyes widened 'he must mean dad and that means they must be planning on interrogating us.'

just then she heard the distance sounds of an engine running, and then the two Decepticons got knocked out.

Arcee caught the boys in mid air; as melody landed on her feet during a half pipe flip, brushing herself down Bumblebee transformed and walked up to them.

"Bumblebee!" Raf exclaimed. "Thank god, I though I'd have to go solo this time." melody sighs

"We appreciate you clearing the front door for us, but storming the decepticon warship was not on the activities list." Arcee said

"Tell me about it" Jack replied.then after that brief reunion Arcee swiftly scouted ahead of them, she then put her back to the wall armed and ready as she turned the next corner pointing her weapon "friendly...!"

"Hello!" came the voice of Bulkhead. Arcee sighed in relief "brought the humans huh?" she said."You try getting them to stay behind!" he and melody said trying to defend their case

."We need to find Fowler and get these kids outta here" Arcee stated, referring to jack raf and miko

Then Jack and Raf said in unison "he's in the brig."

In the brig

Fowler wasn't looking too well, at all, starscream walked forward "My dear agent Fowler. You do realize the Autobots have abandoned you." Fowler just looked at him which he chucked " I am the only one you can rely upon now. So tell me what I want to know...or." Starscream holds up the prod

"Please, no more....They're in secret government base" Fowler rasped "Go on." They then stop when they hear shooting, but starscream goes back to the human " yes?"

"In the old steel mill. Or was it under that carnival's fun-house?" Fowler said with a small grin, Starscream growled and struck him with the prod making him yell

"Someone find out what is going on out there!" He yelled at the two cons he ran out of the room

With the others

the Autobots formed around them to protect them as they battled the children, all the kids could do was dodge the pieces of terminated decepticons that were falling on them, as well as witnessing the Autobots getting some serious bruising in the process, there was a sense of how frighteningly serious this was to the others as they struggled on survival alone, at one point it had them huddling together.

And as the battle ended and the smoke cleared, they came out of their huddled position and continued the search for Fowler

They finally came to the closest room with few decepticons occupying it, the Autobots made short work of them.Then Arcee approached us, "wait in here" she said.

Bumblebee beeped at her. "there slowing us down and are easy targets, they'll be alright in here as long as they stay put with melody." Arcee said.

they left and the door shut behind.

"That...was intense!" Miko then declared. " Was!" Raf said."It's your fault that we're stuck in this intensity, what were you thinking Miko?" Jack demanded. "Did I ask you to follow me?" Miko retaliated. "You wanted us to be a band; doesn't that usually mean playing together?"

"Well maybe i decided to go solo!"

Melody walked away, "Sheesh they have to argue at the time like this."while she observed her surrounding when a monitor screen caught her attention. 'Hmm....I wonder whats that for.' "Well maybe I have some regard for your safety!" Jack said.

"Oh I'm sorry is your name Optimus! You can leave my protection to Bulkhead thank you very much..." Miko said raising her voice. "Ahh! Stop it! Both of you!" Raf suddenly yelled as melody jumped slightly.

He then head to where melody was standing and went to sit down, trying to get away from the arguing.

He crouched down and buried his head into his arms.

The two looked to one another as they then ran over to Raf to comfort him. "Hey. Raf, it's okay." Jack said. "Yeah! We're gonna be fine." Miko said softly. "Our bots will come back for us."

"Yeah!" Miko said. "They're gonna take us home!"

"How do you know?" Raf asked.

Melody interrupted, "I hate to break up the conversation but What do you guys make of that?" pointing at the screen.

Raf then jumped down eagerly from the ledge we were sitting on, and took a good look at the screen. "It's important, real important"

Meanwhile

Starscream could heat the shooting getting closer "Wake up! You pathetic lump of flesh!" He glared at fowler "Hmm grandma? Is it cookie time?" He groaned before falling unconscious again, the doors then opened and a con stood there

"Well?" Starscream questioned, the con fell over revealing bulkhead, who shot the other con inside near starscream, bee rolled in with bulkhead aiming their weapons at him while he aimed his weapon at fowler "Not so fast." He then felt a tap in his head and looked up to find arcee in the ceiling aiming her gun at him "I wouldn't."

"Oh, but I might" starscream smirked

Back to the others

"We gotta get this to Optimus" He said

."How do you know it isn't just a recipe for space nachos" Miko jested."I know math when I see it, and that is one serious equation" Raf said.

Melody went a closer look and she hate to admit it was an advance technology. She stared at the monitor until she notice the symbols is turning into a written language with no reason. She blinked and explained, just then raf said "wait, Melody, your ratchets student, did he teach you how to read the cybertonian language?" He asked

" y-yes but I'm still learning" she stuttered " well can you understand any of this?" Jack asked pointing to the screen

"W-well...I can read that bit... it says Space ...bridge..and then those numbers after bridge i think...those must be coordinates while some are equations....more or less I'm a little rusty."She turned to them and notice surprised look on their face.

"What?" She said. "You did it! You can read it" Miko said smiling " I-I just learned off ratchet I still don't know what the rest says yet" Melody rubbed the back of her neck

" well you still understood some of what it said" jack said smiling too " can we...download it?" Jack asked, looking up. "I've got a flash drive," Raf said, setting down his backpack and opening it, "but I don't see anywhere to plug it in. This tech is way alien!"

, "I don't think your flash drive will fit in that computer." Melody said referring to its size

They heard footsteps, and they turned to see a Vehicon enter the room.

It looked toward them, Miko, Jack grabbed Raf and melody, and started to run under the computer.

That's when she saw Raf run back for his backpack, and then the decepticon saw him, arming his gun

Back with the bots

They still had starscream pinned with their guns aimed at him, there was nothing but silence in the room until he spoke "Now, agent Fowler and I will take our leave."

"The emu says. yeah!" Fowler said, he had completed lost his mind thanks to the prod

Bee took the shot which made starscream duck, the other two started joining him, he screamed while dodging, he then transformed into jet mode ant too off, the force from the booster was Enough to knock arcee off the ceiling

Back to the others

Jack and melody ran toward him, and Jack tackled him out of the way while melody dodged the bullets. "Miko! Take a picture!" Jack yelled

"Great idea!" Miko exclaimed, pulling out her phone. "Hey, you!" she yelled, as his gaze turned to her, then she...took a picture of him

"Not of that! Of that!" Jack corrected pointing at the screen. "Oh" Miko said then proceeding to take a picture of the said screen.

The decepticon was about to shoot her when melody started toward her and tried to shield Miko until it blasted them.

Jack and Raf were horrified that they got shot as the smoke cleared away, they saw unexpected

Miko opened her eyes and saw an energy force field surrounding them not only that she saw melody standing up, glowing bright as if there were electrical currents surrounding her " dude!" She exclaimed

She then swiped her hand and arm, which sent a Wave of energy at the con and sent him flying into a wall

The trio went over to her with an unbelievable look.

Miko said excitedly, "DUde, you are awesome!!!" They heard the robot was about to get up. "No time! Run!" Melody yelled

The door opened, and they all sprinted out."Go, go, go!" Jack yelled, as the decepticon followed them.

Luckily, because of their size they were harder to aim at.

As the Decepticon pursued them Bulkhead came driving at full speed towards them as he transformed and leapt over the 4 kids then ran towards the Decepticon.

He started firing at him before tackling him to the ground; after beating the Decepticon down he then transformed and came back.

Then Bumblebee and Arcee pulled up, Raf and Miko got into Bumblebee as melody and Jack hopped onto Arcee. "I told you to stay put!" Arcee yelled. " tell that to the Con arcee!" Melody argued

A certain man in the back seat poked his head out "I like pie. - can we have pie?" Fowler asked still loopy

"You found Fowler! Rock on!" Miko exclaimed with the rock symbol As they escaped from the ship.

With optimus and rather

Optimus and ratchet were finished with the dead zombie bots and were standing right under the plate form megatron stood

"Bravo, Optimus. Though this is but a prelude. You may wish to save your strength for the main event." Megatron says

"You will not prevail, Megatron. Not while energon still flows through my veins." Prime says while climbing up

"Fitting, for is Dark Energon which flows through mine." Prime was close to swatting him, but megatron transformers and flew away, prime tried to shoot but he was already to far, so he helped ratchet up

"If this wasn't Megatron's endgame What is?" Ratchet asked

Back at base

Fowler was lay down in a stretcher while melody stood next to him completely worried, racket clenching his arm walked over with optimus

"What happened to you guys, anyway?" Miko asked ."We engaged an army of undead Cybertronian warriors." Ratchet explained. "Zombies? You fought zombies and I missed it!"

"Bulkhead, you exercised extremely poor judgement in allowing the humans to accompany you." Optimus rumbled

."It won't happen again, Optimus. I-I promise." Bulkhead said."But it wasn't Bulkhead's fault!" Miko objected

"Miko! Please!"

"And check it out re-con" she said as she got out her cell phone and showed a picture of what they saw on the decepticon computer to Optimus

" Ratchet, have a look. It could be of importance to Megatron."He said.

"Whoa Megatrons back, that's really bad news right?" Jack asked.

" Then Ratchet had a look at Miko's phone but looked confused," I...don't understand." He stated.

Miko looked at the phone. "Oops! That's the 'Con who tried to blow Raf away. At least, that's what he looked like before Bulkhead rearranged his grille!"

"Miko! Raf was almost killed! This isn't a game when are you going to get that through your thick skull!" Jack yelled. "We were all almost killed! You, me, Raf, even them!" Miko said, pointing at the other Autobots and melody

"Well if this was just an average day with the Autobots, then I don't want to be a part of it...not anymore."

"Jack, putting you in harm's way was never our intent. However, it is no longer the safety of you three that is at risk, but the safety of all humankind. We will respect your decision if you wish to leave." Optimus told Jack.

Ratchet activated the groundbridge. "No point in long goodbye's here's the door." He said rather flatly. "Jack turned to Raf. "Come on, Raf." Raf looked at Bumblebee. "I'll be okay, Jack." he said. "See you at school." "Sure thing" Jack replied, turning to the groundbridge

Melody looked a little sad but then went back to Caring her unconscious step father

Time skip

Jack was sitting at the desk in his garage, fixing one of the wheels to his bike, he was then blinded by lights, looking he saw bulkhead in vehicle form, miko hopped out and he just went back to fixing the wheel

"Now I understand why you had to rush home" she said walking over "Don't you have something more exciting to do, Miko?" Jack asked, not even looking at her, while she walked around, to the

"So, this is where you hang, huh?" She said looking around the room "Back home in Tokyo I have loving parents and two pure-breed cats, Tchitchi and Dingdong." She said while picking up a Christmas decoration that was in the box on the couch,"I went to the best school to piano lessons since I was three"

"How nice for you." Jack did sarcastically, miko putting it back in the box "No, how boring." She said which caught his attention "It wasn't me. Why do you think I jumped at the chance of transfer here?"

"To Jasper, Nevada. The entertainment capital of the world?" Jack replied

"Yeah, well, the brochure lied." She shrugged walking over to him "Piano lessons were starting to look pretty good in fact. But then, the last couple of days happened." He listened closely

"Do you have a point?" He asked getting irritated by her bringing up the bots

"You bet." She said leaning in to whisper "I saw what you did today. When you saved Raf. When you came to save me." She said, he didn't know what to say to what she said, but then came out with "I've been raised to be responsible. To my schoolwork, to my mom, my job" he listed as he walked over to the bike and added the wheel

"Dude, hear me out. You're no fry-cook, you're a rockstar!" She exclaimed "Stop trying to pretend you're normal, Jack. You'll never fit in." She says putting her hands on her hips "You were born to do so much more."

"Thanks, Miko, but I think normal suits me fine."

" ugh!" She groaned as she began walking towards bulkhead " you know what, I bet melody hasn't had a chance at a normal life, I bet we're the only people her age shes talked too" she said which he stopped Working on the bike " you don't know that" jack scoffed

" actually..." bulkhead cut in making them freeze " she's right, Melody hasn't really had any contact with other humans, other than fowler, the government, her..." he froze when mentioning someone she knew personally, which made the two questioned " and?..." miko asked hoping he'd continue but no

" uh...I don't think I should say who else, point is, she never talked to anyone outside the government, she hasn't even got the chance to go to a normal school...so she didn't really have any friends other than us" he finished, their eyes widened " what?! How old was she when she got the powers?!" Miko exclaimed " ehh...I think around...six? I can't really remember..." their widens " but don't tell her I told you" bulkhead said shutting up

" look just think about it, alright" miko said to jack as she went back to bulkhead and climbed into the passenger seat

Back at base

Ratchet was reading the results of the decepticon cutter the others retrieved and once he got his answer, his eyes widened "It can't be..."

"Optimus!" He called to his leader who walked over "These are engineering specs for a space-time vortex generator." Ratchet said

"Megatron is building a Space Bridge. If he hasn't already." Prime says "The sooner he leaves, the better." Bulkhead said as he and bee walked over

Bulkhead a Space Bridge runs in two directions. Megatron may not be using it to leave Earth. But to bring through his conquering army."

"The main event Megatron referred to. But the only place Megatron could possibly recruit that many fallen warriors" ratchets eyes widbed

"Precisely." Prime nods " .....Cybertron..."
