Minato's pov

"Alright team good work" I smiled proudly at the exhausted kids. They reminded me so much of my old team. Tenten was serious and mature like kakashi, Naruto was impulsive and dreamed big like obito, kiba was bright and positive like ren not to mention how much he resembled her. I half expected kushina to come in with snacks for the kids to reward them for a hard day's work.

"Sensai is everything alright?" Tenten shot me a worried look.

"I'm fine" I wiped a stray tear away before flashing them a bright grin "I was actually thinking of taking you guys out for a meal"

"Really!" Narutos eyes lit up "can we go to ichitakus ramen?" He gave me those puppy dog eyes I could never refuse.

"Is ramen ok for you two?" I asked the others.

"Sure I'm not picky" kiba grinned.

"Food is food I guess" tenten shrugged.

"Alright!" Naruto cheered before tackle hugging me "thank you! You're the best dad/sensai in the world!"

"Aw thanks buddy" I ruffled his hair, surpressing the urge to cry "right shall we get going?"

"Just a minute" kiba ran off "I gotta tell my mom. She's kick my butt if I go without telling her. Meet you there"

"Okay catch up soon dog boy" Naruto called out to him.

"So you two are finally getting along" I leaned over his shoulder with a smirk.

"Yeah he's not that bad" Naruto shrugged "can we get going now?"

"Sure thing buddy" I chuckled as we made our way there.

*Time skip*

"Where is that damn mutt!" Naruto paced around angrily "making us wait all this time. When I get my hands on him-"

"Cut it out Naruto!" Tenten said sternly "we've only been waiting for five minutes. He'll be here soon so just relax-"

"Yo" just like that kiba appeared with a taller girl with similar features to him "I had no idea where this ramen place was so I asked sis to take me here"

"Thank you for treating my little brother minato-san. I'm glad to know my little brother's in good hands" she ruffled his hair.

"Stop it Hana you're embarrassing me" he whined, making his sister chuckle.

"It's no problem. Kibas a great kid" I patted his shoulder "are you the one teaching him medical ninjitsu? Sorry to cause you such trouble with my spur of the moment ideas"

"It's fine. It's actually nice to see a sensai giving kiba such an active role" she smiled at the boy. They must be really close.

"Alright that's enough small talk. It's ramen time!" Naruto pushed us inside.

*Time skip*

"Mmm that smells good" Naruto broke the chopsticks.

"It sure does. Let's dig in akamaru" kiba lifted akamaru on the table.

"You're letting the puppy eat with you!" Naruto yelled in disbelief.

"Yeah. Can't let the little guy stave" he scratched akamaru under his chin.

"Kiba that's super unhygienic" tenten scolded him.

"It's just the way we do things. It's important for inuzukas to be close to their dogs" he gave them an annoyed look.

"Your way of doing things is weird" Naruto muttered.

"You're weird!"

"What did you say!"

"Alright let's just focus on our own meals" I gently separated the boys. They glared at each other before turning away with a "hmph!" Yep it feels good to be a sensai again!
