Poem

I didn't think I needed anyone

Or anything

I liked my life the way it was

Or so I told myself

Deep inside I was broken

The girl I had become was aching

She just wanted to feel loved.

I didn't know I was searching

That my heart was crying out.

Until they day I gave up hope

Looked above and did see

The Savior's eyes were on me

And with peace He did say

I love you very much

I gave my life for you

When you weren't yet even a thought

I knew you and had a plan

So before the day was over

My life took a change of pace

I let Jesus in my heart

And have never been the same.
