It's funny how sometimes the human mind randomly thinks back to things. Like tonight my Dad was talking to my Mom, while I was brushing my teeth. He mentioned a woman he had worked with years ago, that my Mom & I had befriended a few years at a Christian getaway. What he mentioned to my mom (in a teary voice) was "that it was partly thanks to her that your daughter is here today".

That caught my attention so I came to the living room to listen. He explained that when they worked together 15 yrs. ago, she had told my Dad about a children's clinic that was helping her young daughter. I should probably take a break here and mention that I was a very sick child growing up. To make it worse every doctor that treated me only gave me stuff that made me even worse sick and I mean much worse. I have plenty of memories of hospitals and doctors offices. Hooked up to machines. Struggling to breath.

So we went to the clinic, my Dad called and wouldn't take no for an answer. Through that woman, the doctors at the clinic, and most importantly God, I am still here today. And the impact of that really hit me tonight.

I also want to leave you with this little thought. You never know when something good you do, even small, will help the kingdom of God and maybe even save someone's life. The cool part is you never know when your life may intwine with the person you helped later down the road.
