Enemy of my Enemy(Part 1)
Atop a building in New York, the turtles and Vixen watched the T.C.R.I. building. Leo looked through a telescope and Donnie was checking some info on his phone. Mikey was playing a fighting game on his phone, Vixen and Raph were playing Crazy Eights. These 3 didn't really want to stare at the building from a distance for hours on end. Sure, they wanted to save the city, but doing absolutely nothing was not their style. "Nothing happening at T.C.R.I." Leo informed as he lowered his telescope. "Yet." Donnie added. "This game is awesome. The combat is so realistic." Mikey awed. "You want to make it more realistic?" Raph threatened only to yell out in defeat as Vixen placed her queen of hearts over his queen of spades. "I win." She cheered. "That's not fair! I wasn't paying attention." Raph fumed. "It doesn't matter if you were paying attention or not. This is not Uno, Raph, it's crazy eights!" Vixen explained. "What's the difference?" Raph continued as he threw his cards in the air. "THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT I DON'T END UP PLAYING 52 PICK UP AT THE END!" Vixen screeched, slamming her fist against the rooftop. "Guys, stop messing around." Leo warned.
According to the kraang storage device that I decrypted, some kind of scouting ship is coming through the kraang portal tonight." Donnie explained to the group. Leo crossed his arms and turned to Mikey, who was not paying attention in the slightest. "So we all have to stay alert." Leo said loudly, hoping that would snap Mikey out of his videogame trance. "Yeah, you never know what could sneak up on you." A voice echoed. They looked up on the water toward to see a figure standing there. It flipped down and landed before then, revealing to be Karai. "Uh...who that?" Vixen asked Leo as she picked up the last card and tucked them away in her back pocket. "That's Karai." He whispered back. "That's Karai?" Vixen whispered back wide eyed. She looked...different from what Vixen imagined. "Heh. Cute, Karai. But I'm not in the mood." Leo said to the foot soldier. Karai pulled out her Tanto anyway and advanced. Leo pulled out his katana, and metal clashed.
Leo backed away from the girl and grunted, "We don't have time for this. Guys!" Leo signaled for the other to take their weapons out and attack the girl. "Booyakasha!" Mikey yelled as they advanced. Donnie attacked first, trying to whack the girl, only for her to avoid the blow with her Tanto flip onto Donnie's shell and jump away. "'Booyakasha'? What does that even mean?" Karai laughed. "I don't know. But it's fun to yell." Mikey admitted as he extended his chain. Karai side stepped it and knocked the chain away with her Tanto, grabbed one end. She stepped on the middle, pulling Mikey towards her at an incredible speed. Her he neared her, she kicked the teen turtles to the right, then blocked an attacked from the left by Leo. "You really know how to make a girl feel welcome." She teased. "Yeah, we're just a barrel filled with sunshine." Vixen cheered as she kicked the girl in the side of the head. Karai fell, but caught herself and transitioned into flip. "Huh, never met you before. You sure don't look like a turtle." Karai chuckled as she stood. "Name's Vixen. I'm sure it's a pleasure to meet me. But let's cut this convo short, I have things too do. Like, you know, save the city and such." Vixen humored as she pulled out her scythes.
Karai ran towards her new opponent, swinging her sword as Vixen kept dodging it. Karai clashed her Tanto on Vixen's scythes, successfully knocking both out of her hands. "Looks like you're out of weapons." Karai teased. "Frying pan!" Vixen screamed, slamming the frying pan to the side of Karai's face. "Where did you-How did-When...Looks like you're full of miracles." Karai wiped the bit of blood from her nose away. "Honey, I am the miracle." Vixen sassed as she went to get her scythes that have seemingly disappeared. Vixen looked over the ledge to see them in the alley way. "Oh come on. She literally tossed you in the opposite direction." Vixen jumped down and Karai turned her attention back to Leo. "So, back to what you were saying. I heard the scrawny one mention the kraang. What's going on?" She asked. "None of you business." Leo responded while flying foreword. "And I'm not scrawny. I'm svelte." Donnie insisted as he ran towards Leo and Karai's 1v1. Donnie tried to knock her knees out, but she flipped over Leo. Raph went next, swinging his sais at her. "Oh, come on. Let me in on the fun." She added as she pushed Raph away. "Look, we're a little busy trying to stop the beginning of an alien invasion here, so do us a favor and get lost!" Raph yelled.
"An alien invasion? Are you serious?" Karai asked, only to be responded with a loud thunder clap, followed by a mysterious pink glow from the top of the T.C.R.I. building. A hatch opened, and a huge metal ship tentacles flew out. "Does that look like we're kidding?" Vixen asked the taller girl. "This can't be good." Leo said aloud as the ship started headed right towards them. "Um, guys, I think I need to change my shell." Mikey mumbled. A pink light started glowing and a power up sound played. Inside the ship, their tracker landed on the 6, focusing on the turtles. "The ones who are called turtles have been detected by the scanner which scans for turtles. They are knowing too much of kraang's plan." One kraang blob announced. The mystery figure, you know the one at the end of Cockroach Terminator 3? They were there, still petting that gross mutant cockroach thing, who had become a little larger with time. It now looked like a gross, slimy dog with no fur, tail, ears or nose. Wasn't really much of an upgrade from the ball of mass that couldn't do anything on it's own.
"Excellent. Kill them." The figure cackled. "Attacking." The kraang replied as the shipped dived in. "I hope you have a plan for fighting that thing" Karai trembled. "Of course I do." Leo scoffed. The laser started warming up. "Step one...Run!" All 6 teens started running for their lives as the laser flowed them, blowing up the ground it touched. "I swear, how the hell are these New Yorkers still sleeping?" Vixen panted as she vaulted over a vent box. The turtles and two girls jumped down into the alley below. The figure inside the ship growled and slammed their hand on the armrest. "Turn on thermal scanner. I want them dead!" They screamed as the kraang followed their orders. The 6 silently looked for hiding spots as the kraang ship was right behind them. "What the heck was that?" Karai whispered screamed to the blue masked turtle. "I don't know, but off the tp of my head, I'd say they use it for flying and shooting at things." Leo responded. The kraang ship found them and fired the laser again. "Like at our shells!" Mikey screamed. Karai found a small crevasse in-between two buildings and slipped there as the kraang ship passed by.
The turtles and Vixen were hiding behind a car in an alley. "You think it knows where we are?" Mikey whimpered as he clung to Vixen's arm. "Yeah, maybe." Leo admitted. Immediately after, the alley was illuminated with pink light, and the car they were hiding behind was picked up my the kraang ship. "Welp, we're screwed." Vixen sighed. The turtles yelled at the car was dropped overhead. They all jumped out of the way from being crushed. "Man, we gotta get underground." Donnie panted. "I'll draw their fire." Leo ran ahead to clear a way for his bothers, like a good big brother should. Leo dodged the laser by running on the wall of the alley way and flipping over the smoldering hole that was left over. "Over here, cyclops!" Leo yelled to the ship. The ship focused on Leo and tried to blast him. Meanwhile, Raph opened the sewer cover, Mikey and Donnie jumping in. "Leo, come on!" Raph screamed. Leo threw some ninja stars at the ship, but they bounced off harmlessly. Vixen jumped in, then Raph. Leo slid into the hole and slid the cover over right before the scanner could see him. A homeless man awoke from his nap. "Gosh darn aliens. Every time." He grumbled.
"Curses! You lost the again. No matter. Just continue on with the mission and everything will be fine. We've been at this for 6,000 years, we cannot afford anymore any more setbacks by these 4 turtles and an some earthlings." The figure ranted as they dug their nails into the mutant cockroach, making it squeal and squirm in discomfort. But did they care? No. They loved the sound of others in pain. "Turn on the cloaking device. I don't want to have to deal with the, what was it? FBI? I don't want to deal them again. I've lost too many children to area 51." The figure groaned as they heard the sirens of the police. The kraang did just that, and in a flash, they were gone. The turtles and Vixen watched from the drain. "Oh, great. 'Cause it wasn't scary enough when we could see it." Raph muttered sarcastically. When the chopper went overhead, they all ducked down into the sewer, going home to Master Splinter. Karai was still in her spot, wondering if she should bring this information to Shredder or not.

The turtles were in the lair, doing their own thing. Raph was throwing his Sais's at the dummy dressed as Shredder. Mikey was watching his aggressive older brother beat the stuffing out of the dummy. Donnie was in his lab doing, who knows what. Vixen was on her phone and Leo was pacing around. "That Kraang ship is incredibly dangerous. We're gotta figure out what it's doing here." Leo announced. "Or, we could just skip to the part where we destroy it." Raph suggested as he stabbed the dummy so hard, it fell off the hook. "You're pretty tough when they can't hit you back." Mikey pointed out, feeling bad for the poor dummy. Mikey then screamed and flinched when Raph threatened to punch him. "So what are we waiting for. Let's load up the Shellraiser and challenge that thing to a rematch." Raph continued. "I don't think that's a good idea~" Vixen sang with a smirk on her face.. "Oh? And why not?" Raph asked as he crossed his arms.
"Isn't this just like the time with Daxter and the T-phone? You guys rushed in without knowing anything about the suit and almost died, twice. And what happened because of that? We met Timothy and lost the kraang crystal thingy. And what happened because of that? We tried to invade the T.C.R.I, got knocked out by the kraang air, had to fight a huge lava monster and lost Leatherhead. Everything that you do is connected to something else. If you guys were more careful when rescuing April and I from the kraang the first time we met, Shredder wouldn't even be in New York trying to kill you guys. Sometimes, just slow down and assess the situation before going in, guns blazing." Vixen ranted. "She is right, my sons." The turtles turned to see Master Splinter standing there. "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. If you do not take what you have learned from your experiences and apply them to your everyday life, you will find yourself in an endless cycle of failure. Understand?" He asked his students. "Hai, Sensei." They bowed. "Good. Now, I will go and enjoy a slice of cheesecake that Vixen had brought." He smiled as he walked to the kitchen.
"What are we waiting for? Let's load up the Shellraiser, find that ship, have Donnie take some notes down, then kick it's butt back to the place it came from." Raph encouraged, punching his fist. No matter how many times he was told, the idea of just jumping into the opportunity to fight always clouded his vision. "First we need a way to find a ship that's invisible." Leo reminded the red clad turtle. "I know, how about we shoot into the air until we hit it?" Raph answered sarcastically. Or was he being serious? One other thing about Raph is that the tone of voice always made it sound like he was either being sarcastic or threatening. "That doesn't sound too smart." Leo deadpanned. "Yeah, Raph. Not too smart, buddy." Mikey piped in. Raph held his fist out against, and Mikey hid behind the dunny, screaming. "Actually, Raph's got something there." Donnie interrupted as he walked up to his brothers.
"He does?" Vixen gapped as she dropped her phone onto the couch and went over to the 4. "Yeah, Leo, Raph's got something there." Mikey echoes, contradicting what he said a few seconds ago. Vixen patted Mikey on the head, and he hummed in satisfaction. "But instead of shooting objects, we'll shoot waves of electromagnetic radiation. In other words, radar. I've built some radar beacons we can set up around the town. If the ship gets near us, I'll get an alarm on my t-phone." Donnie beamed. "Good work, Donnie." Leo praised. "Vixen, translation please." Mikey asked. "We're gonna throw vibrations and see if they fly off forever or bounce back. If they bounce back, it means we can kick some kraang." Vixen explained. "Come on, guys. Let's split up and place those beacons. Leo, Donnie and Vixen walked away, and Raph knocked the dummy out of Mikey's hands before following. Mikey knelt down and held the stuffed object. "You'll get him next time, buddy." Mikey sighed. "Mikey!" Leo yelled sternly. "Loosen your kneepads, Leo!" Mikey yelled back as he ran towards the group, ditching the dummy.

The turtles had came back from their mission, and Leo had some important news to share with the other. Turns out, Karai had came to Leo and asked for an alliance with the turtles to defeat the kraang. Leo denied the offer, and came back to discuss it with the others. Everyone was in the dojo. The turtles were knelling by Master Splinter, while Vixen and April lightly spared with each other. "I know we shouldn't trust Karai. But still, I got the sense she really is fed up with Shredder." Leo shared. "That's probably just what she want's you to think." Raph returned as the others gave Leo the side eye. "I know, but-" Leo sighed. "Sensei, is there any chance she's for real?" Leo asked his father. "It is possible. Loyalties have been known to shift." Master Splinter shared. "Yeah. In World War 1, Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy were part of this alliance. Italy didn't really agree to join the war with the other 2, so they ended up 'switching sides' as some say it. It wasn't really switching sides, more like Italy actually making a choice in who to fight with. For all we know, Karai could be some girl Shredder kidnapped from her family and was forced into his ranks. " Vixen added.
"Yes. This could be true. But the kunoichi is trained to use deception to her advantage." Master Splinted continued. "We are?" Vixen mumbled, not knowing why she hadn't received this information before. "So she either will or won't betray us?" Leo asked in clarification. "Correct. You must trust your instincts. But beware the trap of believing something to be true simply because you wish it to be so." He warned. "So I should trust my instincts, unless my instincts are wrong?" Leo repeated. "Correct." Sensei replied. "Uh, thanks, Sensei." Leo sighed. "Whoa. You knw it's good advice when you're still confused afterwards." Mikey awed. "He's basically saying that you should use your gut to tell weather Karai is trustworthy or not. And to make sure your heart and hormones stay out of the decision." Vixen breathed as she dodged a punch from April.
"Guys, seriously. An alliance with Karai. No way. Why are we even talking about this?" Raph fumed. "It's too bad we can't rust her. It would be nice to have a kunoichi on our side." Donnie inputted. "Um, hello? What about me?" April called out, slightly offended. "No, I mean a real kunoichi." Donnie answered without thinking. Vixen chocked on her breath. "I mean, not that you're not a real one, just that Karai is better. I mean, not- not better just more experienced. Is it-Is it hot in here?" Donnie stammered. "It's okay. I get it. She's you mortal enemy, but hey, she's 'purdy'." April frowned. "No, no. He's got a point there." Vixen butted in. "Oh, so is there this unanimous decision that Karai is prettier than me?" April crossed her arms. "No, she's not. You're way prettier-" Donnie insisted. "And I'm gonna stop you right there." Vixen smirked as she placed a hand over Donnie mouth.
"April, say thank you to Donnie for the nice compliment." Vixen guided. "Thanks a lot." April scoffed, still not convinced. "What we mean is, you just started learning to fight, in general, just last week. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, and the measure of beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But that's not important. Be honest. Would you rather have Donnie, someone who had practiced most of his life to learn ninjutsu and has the brain compacity of a super computer on your team, or an average high school boy?" Vixen asked. "Yeah, you're right. I was kinda going overboard with that. Sorry." April laughed, loosening up. "Now, you go practice your punches, and we'll talk about the foot solder. Okay? Okay." April walked away and Vixen facepalmed. "Donnie, I swear to you. I love you, and I support you, but I'm not reciting your wedding vows and holding your hand on the honeymoon ." Vixen whispered so April wouldn't hear. Donnie smiled nervously.

The turtles and Vixen were in the Shellraiser, racing down the streets of New York. Donnie picked up his phone and saw a notification. "Guys, I think I've got something. Doesn't match any authorized flight patterns. It's gotta be the Kraang ship!" He announced. "Or Santa!" Mikey cheered. "This is the last time I'm gonna ask. Can I adopt him?" Vixen said to Leo. "Please. Take the little airhead off our hands." Raph scoffed. "Raph." Leo warned. "And no. As much as he annoys us, you can't adopt Mikey." Leo sighed. "Man! Mikey, Leo said no!" Vixen groaned to the orange masked turtle. "Shoot! Aw, and it's not even Santa. Just the kraang ship." He whined as they turned the corner to see the flying machine. "What a bummer!" Mikey complained. The laser of the ship fired up, ready to blow the turtles to pieces. "Aw shoot, here we go again." Vixen groaned as she buckled herself into her seat. An addition that she forced Donnie to add, because she knew there were gonna be a lot more crazy chases scenes happening soon.

Author's Note
Sorry about the long wait. School is the worst and can go suck the big toe of a homeless man. Anyway, I'll try to get more chapters done. And can someone comment a good name for the group. I'm tired of writing 'the turtles and Vixen' multiple times in the chapter. I don't want to say team, because April's not there. And 'group' or 'the 5 teens' doesn't really detail who's there and who's not. Because there could be a chapter where April's there and Vixen's sick, so I say 'the group' or 'the 5 teens' and you'll all be confused when Vixen's not there. So, can I get some help?
