You couldn't stop thinking about what Donnie said. You were already insecure, and now you felt 10 times worse about yourself. You just laid in bed all day and didn't even think about getting up. You had been crying so much that you were all out of tears. You didn't want to see Donnie. You didn't want to see anyone. You told yourself that if Donnie did come, you'd make him beg for forgiveness. You rolled over and hugged your pillow. Suddenly, there was a knock on your door. It was Donnie. Just seeing his face made you want to burst into tears. But you held in the tears, and got up to open the door. You just stared at him for a second. "(Y/n)," he said softly. "Why are you here?," you asked, "Why aren't you out with the most amazing girl you've ever met?" You wanted to cry, but you wouldn't let yourself. He sighed and looked like he was about to cry. "I am hanging out with the most amazing girl I've ever met," he said, sounding like he knew that wouldn't fix it. "Donnie. I've never cried so much in my life. I've never felt so horrible about myself in my life. Never ever," you said. He cringed with guilt. "I don't know what came over me," he said. "What came over you? I don't know what possessed you! Donnie I loved you so much and I honestly thought you were over April, but you're clearly not and I'm not good enough for you so," you say. He started tearing up. "If I'm just April's little understudy for your girlfriend then," you say. Donnie was crying now. "(Y/n) you're not April's understudy. You're too good for me and I don't deserve you," he says. You can't help but look at him now. "I don't deserve you and you deserve someone so much better than me," he says, "I can't imagine you forgiving me. I just don't know how you ever could. I hurt you and I still haven't even forgiven myself. You're just the best thing that has ever happened to me and I took your love for granted." You start crying a little. "Did you mean everything you just said," you ask. He looks at you. "Every word of it," he replies. "Will you ever do something like that to me again," you ask. "No never," he replies. "Do you think you'll ever get over April?," you ask, looking down. He sighs. "I'll try....for you. No, I will get over her, for you. I promise," he says. You smile a little. "Then you're forgiven," you say. He smiles and burst into tears of joy as he hugged you. "I'm so sorry," he says, "I love you so much."
