The wind was cold as usual, the sound of one heart beating as the other heart was breaking broke the peace of the starry sky.
"Find someone you can't live without." He said, like it was something I hadn't already done.
"I think I can live without anyone." I lied. Can't you see?
"But you have to find someone who'll change that." He whispered to the night surrounding us like a void, oblivious, ignorant, innocent of the power he had but refused to hold against me. Was it that hard to notice? Why do you want me to want someone else? But can't you see dear Ilyaas, I have managed and I can manage to live without anyone and everything except you?
