In a cozy warm home of the Bakugou family, the morning sun greeted them with its glorious warmth, birds singing, the warm brew of coffee, the sizzling sound of bacon, eggs, and sweet pancakes. Nothing like a good morning to greet the day...

"Kacchan!." A sweet voice called as a little boy and girl ran towards the woods, Katsuki kept running until they reached a small treehouse. "Hurry up Deku!." The little boy replied while waiting for the young greenette who finally made it to their secret fort of heroes as they like to call it.

"But Kacchan is too fast!." She said while admiring the young boy, "That's why I'll be a hero and beat All Might and be your number one Izumi." He boasted to the young greenette, Izumi simply smiled as she took Katsuki's hands and held them close to her, "But Kacchan, you're always my number one hero forever in my heart." She giggled making the ash-blonde blush, "We'll be the wonder duo!." She cheered and gave Katsuki her famous hugs, "Promise Kacchan? that we'll be heroes together?." She asked, the blonde simply smiled and embraced back, "I promise." He whispered.....

"But did you really promise?...."

The blonde gasped upon hearing a strange voice..... And on his hands was blood coating his arms and shirt. He cried in fear while frantically looking for the young greenette but was nowhere in sight.

"Izumi! Where are you?!...... Izumi!....."

"IZUMI!!!!."

"HEY BRAT!!!." Yelled Mitsuki Bakugou.

..... Sort of a good morning.

"Another nightmare." He grumbled while face-planting on his pillow, Katsuki was struggling to get up considering he can't get a decent amount of sleep.

Luckily it was the weekend, so Katsuki can have more last-minute exercise for the entrance test on Monday. Once they are enrolled during workdays, they will proceed to train and study until graduation and every weekend, the students would visit their parents, they also go on dorm systems, it was good practice in being more independent, more training for the next generation of heroes and for the safety of students against villains. Of course, U.A. is owned by Principle Nezu, he makes sure everyone runs smoothly with a protocol like respective dorm rooms and bathrooms for the male and female gender to avoid... -ahem- Trouble, of course, they have pro heroes as their teachers, even All Might.

Mitsuki and Inko Midoriya were preparing breakfast, while Masura was struggling with his teenage son who doesn't seem to be a morning person. "Inko-san, you don't have to help me all the time, you need to rest and recover, my stupid son has to learn to help around the house anyway." She said, Inko still doesn't understand how Mitsuki and young Katsuki work as a family with the constant arguings, "It's fine Mitsuk-kun, I owe you too much already.".

Ever since the Bakugou family took care of Inko, she hasn't been acting her happy lively self, she barely eats, sleep, or talk for that matter. Mitsuki being Inko's childhood friends herself, had to save her, it wasn't long until Mitsuki's husband, Masura Bakugou caught her committing suicide, so they put her under house arrest, they hope and pray to the gods, to bring back Izumi... Especially Katsuki. His childhood memories would haunt him in his sleep, sometimes he would be found crying out of the blue, so to hide all that pent up emotions and stress he takes it out on his peers or sometimes his parents. But the pain only worsens, he missed her so badly that he was mad at himself and her because she left, but he knows it wasn't her fault.

Eventually, he enrolled in U.A. Academy to fulfill his promise to Izumi and be her hero, but it only made things a little worse, he would bully other teens with average quirks and get praised for it, his ego continued to inflate until he became a delinquent jerk head. Eventually, he did find friends, they saw Bakugou as a sad and lonely individual, not a raging time bomb, they even call themselves the Baku squad presenting; Kirisihma Eijiro, Kaminari Denki, and Hanata Sero, they make a... Uh... Funny team?. Anyway with their quirks and great personality they manage to help Katsuki's brash, cocky and arrogant attitude to stay at a -ahem- bearable level... So yeah, meet the Baku squad.

Kirisihma Eijiro, a lovable young teen who loves the color red with a heart of a manly gentleman, he's favorite pro hero is Crimson Riot, he has eyes that are red like roses, he used to have black tamed hair but dyed it red and styled it to be spiky, he may have shark-like teeth but he's a sweetheart. His quirk can make his skin hard like stone, this makes it good for offense and defense, the downside is that he can only use it for a certain amount of time or his hardening ability will slowly become weaker.

Kaminari Denki, he has blonde hair with a streak of black hair with a lightning bolt design, has a killer smirk to compliment his charming face. He is a bit of a flirt, sometimes a pervert, and has a hobby for collecting phone numbers from girls but he is actually a caring boy. He's quirk is creating electricity, so he is basically a walking power bank but the downside to his quirk is that if he uses too much power, he'll overheat and ends up frying his brain forcing him to wait for a recharge.

Sero Hanata, a ravenette with a goofy smile yet has a kind and loyal persona, he may be clumsy at times but loves to hang around in different angles, a peculiar teen with strange elbow joints. His quirk is sticky tape, it may not be much but it really has useful benefits, he can launch them in far-out areas and swing like spiderman and can trap his opponents in a sticky situation. The disadvantage to this quirk is that he can only create a decent amount of tape if he were to create more he would be drained out of energy giving him arm cramps.

Then we have the leader of the squad, Bakugou Katsuki. A handsome blonde with ruby eyes, muscles that get girls ogling, he may be a bully but has a soft side, making him the ultimate tsundere. He works and trains hard to be the number one in everything... And I mean everything, from academics to combat he's got that covered and to match his delinquent persona, he has an explosion quirk. He can produce nitroglycerin as he sweats which creates explosions to erupt from his hands, the downside is that it makes his skin dry.

With the squad introduced, let's get to the story.

As breakfast was placed on the table, Katsuki wolfed down his stack of pancakes and bacon, he was wearing a tank top along with joggers and running shoes for a morning jog along with the squad while Mitsuki and Inko were chatting away and Masura was reading the daily headlines, Katsuki picked up his dish and placed it on the sink and made his leave to grab his stuff. Katsuki was determined to train hard cause U.A. 's entrance exam was in a few months if he wanted to be a hero and find Izumi he would start now.

DING-DONG!!!

As the front door alarmed of guests, the Bakugous were greeted with friendly faces, "Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Bakugou and Auntie Midoriya." Greeted Kirisihma who was in a red jogging attire along with Sero and Kaminari, "Morning boys, would you like something to eat before you head out?." Inko greeted back. "No thanks." They replied. "You ready Bakubro?." Asked the redhead, Katsuki just tched in response as all of them began to exit the house.

A few hours later

The boys were running their hearts out, sweat and heavy breathing were present on the jog as always. Right now they were on their way to Dagobah municipal beach to the nearby vending machine to take a water break, "And I said, now that's manly." Kirisihma jokes making them laugh as they continued to run, "KEEP IT UP EXTRAS!!!, YOU'RE SLOWING ME DOWN!!!." Bakugou yelled making them run faster, "HEY WAIT UP!!!." They said. Once they got to the vending machine they quickly purchased cold water and drank to their heart's content.

After crushing their plastic bottles and placing it in the trash, "Did any of you guys notice the beach looks a lot brighter?." Kirisihma asked as the group followed his gaze to the sea, "Race ya to the water!." Sero yelled and took off, the other followed in hot pursuit.

Once all of them made it to the sand shoreline all of them tumbled in a heap of laughter except Bakugou who was obviously the winner.

"HA!, YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR SHITTY FACES, BECAUSE YOU GUYS LOOKED STUPID!." He mocked while releasing small explosions, "THAT BECAUSE YOU USED YOUR QUIRK!." Sero argued. "YOU WANNA FIGHT ME OFFICE SUPPLY!." Katsuki yelled at Sero telling him to run for his life. Kirisihma and Kaminari sweatdropped as the other two began causing a scene. "Your friend seems nice." A voice said.

The blonde and redhead turned around to see a female, the boys' heart jumped out of their chest upon seeing her. Her soft curly green black ombré hair flowed around her porcelain face, her emerald eyes shined with the sun, her freckles were sprinkled like constellations highlighted with a soft pink hue, she had a face of an angel, but by the looks of her scars and soft muscles, her body was built for battle and that only enhanced her beauty. Kirisihma's blush competed with his hair while Kaminari was drooling like the fool he is....

"Uh... Are you okay?." She asked, feeling uncomfortable, the boys quickly came out of their trance and composed themselves. "H-hi, I'm Kirisihma Eijiro and this is Kaminari Denki." He stuttered showing his pearly shark-like grin while shaking her hand in a friendly manner while his blonde friend was hopelessly staring with heart-shaped eyes. "Konnichiwa, Kirisihma and Kaminari, I'm Deku." She said with a sweet smile that caught the boys off guard but decided not to question her name, "I just wanted to give you guys water... Seeing how you boys ran all the way here." Deku kindly offered as she handed out cold bottled water which they gladly accept.

"I have to go, it was nice seeing you," Deku said as she took her leave, the blonde and redhead just stood there awestruck while Bakugou came back to the group dragging an unconscious Sero with him, and upon looking at their blushed faces it freaked him out. "What the fuck happen to your faces?." He tsked. But as he looked at the direction where they were looking and just by a small glance, his entire world stopped upon seeing green curly hair. His eyes widened with anticipation, his heart skipped a beat, his stomach heavy on his throat... "It can't be..."

Katsuki took a mad sprint to try and see the greenette that was disappearing in the distance hoping... Praying that it wasn't a dream that she was actually there. "Hey!, Bakugou!, where are you going?!." Kirisihma yelled as the others tried to keep up with the ash blonde.

"IZUMI!!!!, *pant *pant, IZUMI!!!." He yelled as he ran faster that he wasn't aware of his surroundings until he collided with other people on accident while he made contact with the pavement. "IZUMI!!!." He kept calling, eyes frantically looking for her as tears began seeping through, he felt like a failure again that it was driving him mad that he didn't even hear his friends or the people asking if he was alright.

"Bakubro!, you okay man?." The redhead asked as the group took him to a secluded area to help Bakugou calm down and come to his senses again, "We need to find her!." He said and once again ran off leaving his friends more confused than ever, "But Bakugou!, we don't know what you are doing and who are we looking for?!." Kaminari yelled back while keeping up with their leader.

Who knows what life has stored for Katsuki?.
