Date: 14th June, Monday

Tenma's POV

I was running late to class today as I had overslept after watching a cartoon marathon with Tenki yesterday. I had a lot of messages from Aoi and a few missed calls. As I was running through the halls I noticed the class teacher heading towards the classroom. I quickly took one of the paper ball from the trash bin in the hallway and threw it at his head. I sprint past him crouching as he turned around to see who threw the paper ball. I quickly opened the door and took my seat.

Everyone in the classroom were looking baffled by me. As the doors open the class teacher yelled while I took a deep breath to avoid getting caught panting. "Okay who just entered the classroom?"

I turned around and exhaled. I looked over to some classmates shook my head slowly in a sign 'please don't snitch'. The class representative then spoke up. "Sorry sir, that was me checking outside. But I saw you and immediately closed the door."

"Did you see someone else behind me then? Someone threw this paper ball at my head."

"No sir." He replied.

Teacher sighed before speaking. "Alright, everyone take your seat."

Everyone went back in their seats and the class began. As the class began and my attention went forward and I realized who was sitting in front of me. Shinsuke!. I smiled brightly and wrote a note. I poked his shoulder and passes the note to him. I asked him how he was and he wrote back, he has a lot to catch up on so we can talk after class. It seemed like he was in  a bad mood. So I waited till lunch break.

"Shinsuke, glad to have you back in class." Kariya said to Shinsuke whilst he drank his apple juice packet.

"Yeah, it's great be back but apparently I have been removed from the team." Shinsuke said in sad tone.

"WHAT?! what do you mean you have been removed?!" I asked Angrily.

"I don't know, I got a message from Captain Ichino-san that I have been removed from the team." He sniffled softly as tears swelled his eyes. I was so angry was about to storm out of the classroom and go find Ichino. But one of the classmates called Shinsuke all of a sudden. It was Ichino. He was here his friend. They came in and started to talking to us.

"Hello Shinsuke, are you feeling better?" Ichino asked Shinsuke.

"NO! He's not. Because you removed him from the team." I screamed at him.

"What? Oh no... That's why I came here. Shinsuke when I was texting you, I dropped my phone and it got damaged. The screen literally had lines over it." Ichino explained.

"And?" 

"Well I was trying to say that Coach informed me to tell you that we are removing you from the second team because you have been moved to the first team." Ichino said with a smile.

"WHAT?!" Shinsuke said in shock.

"Yeah congratulations Shinsuke." The guy next to Ichino congratulated him.

"That's great." I gave Shinsuke a pat on the back.

"Sorry I didn't contact afterwards I didn't remember anyone contact number so I came to tell you in person." Ichino said. "Anyways we got to go alright. Have a great day Shinsuke."  They said as they left our classroom.

"Oh my god, Shinsuke you get to be a part of first team." Aoi said.

"YEAH! This is the best day ever." He said in a bright smile as his day became greater.

He danced around in happiness and held my hand and spun along with me. But the conversation caught short as the bell rang.

After the classes finished the four of us, me, Shinsuke, Aoi and Kariya headed to the soccer club on the way we met up with Kageyama, Tsurugi and Haru. As we were crossing the bridge to the soccer building Shuu and Hakuryuu met up with us. As we all went into the club room, the club room was filled with both first team and second team. Both coaches were also there waiting. We all took a seat as they started a meeting.

"As you all know the previous week a group of members came and caused injuries to the second team." Coach Kazemaru spoke as he lit up the presentation. It showed the photographs which Haru had taken that day.

"I contacted a few of my friends and find out more about this team, but apparently it is still unknown. The only valid information we have at the moment is there are 12 members. Each representing the Zodiac Sign. The one who was not there that day seemed to be Leo, the leader." Coach Ichihoshi added.

Shindou raised his hand and asked a question. "Do we know why they are doing this?"

"That is what we are unsure about. So for the ones who met them are you, Kirino and Tenma. We confirmed Leo was the leader through Libra." Coach Ichihoshi said.

"I told an old friend of mine to check with fifth sector's database to see if they are involved with them. Once I get an update from him I will inform you all. For now we have decided to change two players from the second team to the first team. That will be Kageyama Hikaru and Nishizono Shinsuke. Congratulations to the both of you." Coached Kazemaru said. Everyone gave them an applaud.

Coach Kazemaru slapped his knees and got up before speaking again. "Alright, second team let's go practice we will be practicing in the stadium this week." He said as he called out to the second team. They left shortly afterwards saying bye to us.

"Now I would like to show you guys your next opponents. Seishou Gakuen. Their Coach is Kudou Michiya. Apparently they got an amazing player by the name of Mahoro Tadashi." Coach Ichihoshi stated.

"Mahoro?" Hakuryuu, Shuu and me said in a unison. Everyone turned to look at us.

"Do the three know him?" Coach asked us.

"Know him? His shot is splendid. It's called a Phantom Shot, and no goalkeeper has been able to stop that shoot." Hakuryuu states.

"Phantom Shoot?" Kurama repeats.

"Yeah, It's quite powerful. It will never miss the goal." Shuu compliments it.

"But you know a weakness of that shot, right?" Hamano asks us.

"Nope" we said in unison.

"Really? Not even you Tenma?" Shindou asked me. I shook my head.

"Well, apparently he's the top shoot. It was always a 100% shoot and never misses. Of course he's not the only one to watch out for. They is a pair of brothers who are forwards. They seemed to have a duo shoot called Portal Switch. Also their Goalkeeper is an avatar user as well I presume. Hakano Zuuich?"

We nodded our head and Coach let out a deep sigh. It seems we met a pretty formidable opponent to fight against. Even the Coach is worried.

"Alright, let's head to the field. I need to confirm something before I give the training menus." He stated. Everyone got up and went to change into their uniforms after Coach said that.

"And also Shinsuke instead of being a defender wear the goal keeper's outfit." Coach told to Shinsuke.

"WHAT? Why?" Shinsuke said in surprise.

"I need to confirm something. Meet me on the field everyone." Coach said as he left the room.

We all paused for a moment in surprise. Kirino came by and tapped Shinuske's shoulder and told him. "I'm sure Coach is doing something good. Trust him alright." Kirino reassured him.

" I agree as well." Shindou added.

"Well if the captain agrees I guess I will trust him." Shinsuke said. We went to the lockers and changed into our uniforms and headed out to the soccer pitch. As we arrived Coach told Shinsuke to stay by the goal. 

"Now Tenma, Tsurugi, Shindou, Shuu, Hakuryuu and Nishiki line up in front of him."

"Why?" I asked him.

"I want you all to take your turn shoot the goal. Shinsuke protect the goal and remember you can use your hands." Coach told to Shinsuke.

As he said that we all were in shock. I mean Shinsuke literally did that last week against the Zodiac. This will just bring back those terrible memories. Even though Shinsuke was trembling a bit, he stood strong and went to the goal.

All of us line up with a ball each. We went in an order, Me, Shuu, Shindou, Nishiki, Hakuryuu and Tsurugi. We started of with an easy shot one by one. Shinsuke was able to reach and stop the shots. When it was Hakuryuu's turn Coach called out to him.

"Use a hissastu shoot." Coach screamed to him. "What?" I mumbled. 

Hakuryuu immediately used his HS, white hurricane without hesitation. Shinsuke used his hands and blocked the shot. It bounced away from his hands.

"Tsurugi!" Coach called out to Tsurugi and gave him a nod.

"What is he-" I spoke but was cut off by Tsurugi. "I apologize in advance."

"What do you-" Before I could say anything, Tsurugi released his avatar and shot the ball towards Shinsuke. Shinsuke put his hands in front to stop it but he flew into the goal instead. This was completely brutal.

 I tried to go over to him but Shindou stopped me. I looked over to Shinsuke as he tried to stand up shaking. He walked to the front and said. "Come on Tenma. Give me your best shot."

I gritted my teeth and nodded as I grabbed the ball. I dropped the ball and put my foot on top.

"Shinsuke, think of me as a member of those guys." I said I motioned to my face like I wore a mask. "Show me your determination for this team." I released my avatar. "Magin Pegasus"

"TENMA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HE'S YOUR FRIEND?" Aoi shouted at me. I looked over to her with my blank expression. "Not right now" I mumbled.

I shot the ball into the air and followed after it with a jump. As the ball was falling near my waist, I raised my right leg and hit the ball from the back of my ankle as I called out the Hissastu Shoot.

"Heavenly drop!"
