SOME YEARS AGO

In the beautiful castle ground the young princess Y/n stood blindfolded with a bow in one hand and 5 arrows in another. "ARE YOU READY YOUR HIGHNESS?" Maya shouted as she placed the fifth target about 65 meters away from where the princess was standing.

"Yes!" The princess shouted back with a youthful smile and placed the arrows against the bow. "READY-" Maya announced and the princess took her form. Bending just the perfectly right places she was on her mark. "GO!" As soon as the words left Maya's lips, Y/n let go of the arrows sophisticatedly, each landing at the right mark in the target.

"Oh my dear goddess! No wonder our princess is the strongest in our country!" Maya cheered proudly. "Not the strongest Maya, that's the spot only for the queens. My mother is the strongest of us all." Y/n added firmly yet with no jealousy. She was proud to be her mother's daughter.

She wanted and will be like her.

"But my princess you will be the queen in some days now. Once you are married to Noble Kim you will be crowned the queen. Moreover your marriage in a week!" Y/n turned to look softly at her friend and bodyguard before patting her head. "Yes. Get my horse. I am going to the Kim residence." Y/n ordered.

Maya smiled wider as she narrowed her eyes. "What?" "Can't wait to meet the elegant noble, my highness?" "He is my fiancé, I can meet anyone, any man I want." The princess answered proudly.

"Wait right here my princess, the horse is on it's way!" Maya said and walked off to the horse stable. After Y/n's beautiful black horse arrived, Y/n climbed it with ease and carried her swords along with her before leaping out of the castle gate to the capital. Anyone who saw her bowed down to the future of Seodong as she galloped through the rich streets of her land.

Soon she reached the  Kim residence the guards quickly informed the slaves of the princess's arrival. The slaves quickly ran inside and shouted, "MY LORD, HER HIGHNESS PRINCESS Y/N IS HERE!" The princess reached the house gate as people in the house scrambled in order to welcome her heartily.

Quickly the lady and owner of the house, Mrs. Kim walked over to welcome her future daughter in law. She bowed in front of the princess and smiled proudly. "Dear Princess it's such a pleasure to meet you. Seokjin is upstairs-" Just then the said man reached the ground floor with quick steps to see his fiancée with a glow on his face.

"Oh dear lord, see his enthusiasm! You will go to the royal place next week anyways." His mother laughed. Seokjin blushed as he walked to Y/n and shyly bowed. "Let's talk outside." Y/n added and gently held Seokjin's hand as she pulled him to the vast garden.

Seokjin shyly followed her as she sat on the bench outside. "Sit by me." She added with a pretty smile. "Y-Yes my highness." Seokjin mumbled and shyly took his place by her side.
"So, what were you doing?" Y/n asked softly. "Was playing the strings. Learnt a new musical note yesterday in fine arts. Thought to practice it out." Seokjin spoke not being able to look at Y/n.

Y/n confidently held his hand making his blush grow darker in shade. "My princess...we are...we are in public." Seokjin added shyly. "So? You will wed me in a few days. You will be mine soon anyways." Y/n said leaning up to peck him making him gasp in shock and embarrassment.

"M-My highness!" He tried to scold her as his face grew pink. The princess quickly chuckled and Seokjin's face softened. "You are...you are doing okay my princess?" Seokjin asked.
"Yes I am. Why do you ask?"

"Your father...he is no more. I am sorry for your lose. Our king was the most benevolent and nice man Seodong has known." Seokjin spoke as he held Y/n's hand firmly.
"I am upset for his death." Y/n said as her face slowly changed.

"My princess...I am here for you...I know it's forbidden in women...but...but you have lost a close one and-" Seokjin fearfully tried to convince but was cut off by the princess rudely.

"No, women don't cry. The weak cries." Y/n added firmly.
Seokjin didn't dare speak more and nodded in defeat as he sadly looked at his princess.
