I'm sure I don't have to say how annoying it is at this point. People are either using it to complain about or to complain about the people who are complaining about it. That is a generalization, of course, but it's at least the majority of my notifications.

The point here is I just posted something and didn't check the Notify My Followers button. Did that prevent it from showing up in the notifications? I've heard this theory but I wanted to test it.
